אַשְׁרֵי־הָאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר לֹא הָלַךְ בַּעֲצַת רְשָׁעִים וּבְדֶרֶךְ חַטָּאִים לֹא עָמָד וּבְמוֹשַׁב לֵצִים לֹא יָשָׁב

 1:1 ash'rëy-häiysh ásher lo hälakh' Baátzat r'shäiym ûv'derekh' chaŢäiym lo ämäd ûv'môshav lëtziym lo yäshäv

 1:1 ¶ Blessed 835 [is] the man 376 that x834 walketh 1980 z8804 not x3808 in the counsel 6098 of the ungodly, 7563 nor x3808 standeth 5975 z8804 in the way 1870 of sinners, 2400 nor x3808 sitteth 3427 z8804 in the seat 4186 of the scornful. 3887 z8801

כִּי אִם בְּתוֹרַת יְהוָה חֶפְצוֹ וּבְתוֹרָתוֹ יֶהְגֶּה יוֹמָם וָלָיְלָה

 1:2 Kiy im B'tôrat y'hwäh chef'tzô ûv'tôrätô yeh'Geh yômäm wäläy'läh

וְהָיָה כְּעֵץ שָׁתוּל עַל־פַּלְגֵי מָיִם אֲשֶׁר פִּרְיוֹ יִתֵּן בְּעִתּוֹ וְעָלֵהוּ לֹא־יִבּוֹל וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר־יַעֲשֶׂה יַצְלִיחַ

לֹא־כֵן הָרְשָׁעִים כִּי אִם־כַּמֹּץ אֲשֶׁר־תִּדְּפֶנּוּ רוּחַ

 1:4 lo-khën här'shäiym Kiy im-KaMotz ásher-TiD'feNû rûªch

 1:4 The ungodly 7563 [are] not x3808 so: x3651 but x3588 x518 [are] like the chaff 4671 which x834 the wind 7307 driveth away. 5086 z8799

עַל־כֵּן לֹא־יָקֻמוּ רְשָׁעִים בַּמִּשְׁפָּט וְחַטָּאִים בַּעֲדַת צַדִּיקִים

 1:5 al-Kën lo-yäqumû r'shäiym BaMish'Päţ w'chaŢäiym Baádat tzaDiyqiym

 1:5 Therefore x5921 x3651 the ungodly 7563 shall not x3808 stand 6965 z8799 in the judgment, 4941 nor sinners 2400 in the congregation 5712 of the righteous. 6662

כִּי־יוֹדֵעַ יְהוָה דֶּרֶךְ צַדִּיקִים וְדֶרֶךְ רְשָׁעִים תֹּאבֵד

 1:6 Kiy-yôdëª y'hwäh Derekh' tzaDiyqiym w'derekh' r'shäiym Tovëd

 1:6 For x3588 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 knoweth 3045 z8802 the way 1870 of the righteous: 6662 but the way 1870 of the ungodly 7563 shall perish. 6 z8799
