 73:1 miz'môr l'äšäf akh' ţôv l'yis'räël élohiym l'värëy lëväv

 73:1 ¶ [[A Psalm 4210 of ´Äsäf אָסָף.]] 623 Truly x389 ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 [is] good 2896 to Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 [even] to such as are of a clean 1249 heart. 3824

וַאֲנִי כִּמְעַט *נָטוּי [נָטָיוּ] רַגְלָי כְּאַיִן *שֻׁפְּכָה [שֻׁפְּכוּ] אֲשֻׁרָי

 73:2 waániy Kim'aţ *näţûy [näţäyû] rag'läy K'ayin *shuP'khäh [shuP'khû] áshuräy

כִּי־קִנֵּאתִי בַּהוֹלְלִים שְׁלוֹם רְשָׁעִים אֶרְאֶה

 73:3 Kiy-qiNëtiy Bahôl'liym sh'lôm r'shäiym er'eh

 73:3 For x3588 I was envious 7065 z8765 at the foolish, 1984 z8802 [when] I saw 7200 z8799 the prosperity 7965 of the wicked. 7563

כִּי אֵין חַרְצֻבּוֹת לְמוֹתָם וּבָרִיא אוּלָם

 73:4 Kiy ëyn char'tzuBôt l'môtäm ûväriy ûläm

 73:4 For x3588 [there are] no x369 bands 2784 in their death: 4194 but their strength 193 [is] firm. 1277

בַּעֲמַל אֱנוֹשׁ אֵינֵמוֹ וְעִם־אָדָם לֹא יְנֻגָּעוּ

 73:5 Baámal énôsh ëynëmô w'im-ädäm lo y'nuGäû

 73:5 They [are] not x369 in trouble 5999 [as other] men; 582 neither x3808 are they plagued 5060 z8792 like 5973 [other] men. 120

לָכֵן עֲנָקַתְמוֹ גַאֲוָה יַעֲטָף־שִׁית חָמָס לָמוֹ

 73:6 läkhën ánäqat'mô gaáwäh yaáţäf-shiyt chämäš lämô

 73:6 Therefore x3651 pride 1346 compasseth them about as a chain; 6059 z8804 violence 2555 covereth 5848 z8799 them [as] a garment. 7897

יָצָא מֵחֵלֶב עֵינֵמוֹ עָבְרוּ מַשְׂכִּיּוֹת לֵבָב

 73:7 yätzä mëchëlev ëynëmô äv'rû mas'KiYôt lëväv

 73:7 Their eyes 5869 stand out 3318 z8804 with fatness: 2459 x4480 they have more 5674 z8804 than heart 3824 could wish. 4906

יָמִיקוּ וִידַבְּרוּ בְרָע עֹשֶׁק מִמָּרוֹם יְדַבֵּרוּ

 73:8 yämiyqû wiydaB'rû v'rä osheq miMärôm y'daBërû

 73:8 They are corrupt, 4167 z8686 and speak 1696 z8762 wickedly 7451 [concerning] oppression: 6233 they speak 1696 z8762 loftily. 4791 x4480

שַׁתּוּ בַשָּׁמַיִם פִּיהֶם וּלְשׁוֹנָם תִּהֲלַךְ בָּאָרֶץ

 73:9 shaTû vaSHämayim Piyhem ûl'shônäm Tihálakh' Bääretz

לָכֵן *יָשִׁיב [יָשׁוּב] עַמּוֹ הֲלֹם וּמֵי מָלֵא יִמָּצוּ לָמוֹ

וְאָמְרוּ אֵיכָה יָדַע־אֵל וְיֵשׁ דֵּעָה בְעֶלְיוֹן

 73:11 w'äm'rû ëykhäh yäda-ël w'yësh Dëäh v'el'yôn

 73:11 And they say, 559 z8804 How x349 doth ´Ël אֵל 410 know? 3045 z8804 and is there 3426 knowledge 1844 in `Elyôn עֶליוֹן? 5945

הִנֵּה־אֵלֶּה רְשָׁעִים וְשַׁלְוֵי עוֹלָם הִשְׂגּוּ־חָיִל

 73:12 hiNëh-ëLeh r'shäiym w'shal'wëy ôläm his'Gû-chäyil

 73:12 Behold, x2009 these x428 [are] the ungodly, 7563 who prosper 7961 in the world; 5769 they increase 7685 z8689 [in] riches. 2428

אַךְ־רִיק זִכִּיתִי לְבָבִי וָאֶרְחַץ בְּנִקָּיוֹן כַּפָּי

 73:13 akh'-riyq ziKiytiy l'väviy wäer'chatz B'niQäyôn KaPäy

וָאֱהִי נָגוּעַ כָּל־הַיּוֹם וְתוֹכַחְתִּי לַבְּקָרִים

 73:14 wäéhiy nägûª Käl-haYôm w'tôkhach'Tiy laB'qäriym

אִם־אָמַרְתִּי אֲסַפְּרָה כְמוֹ הִנֵּה דוֹר בָּנֶיךָ בָגָדְתִּי

אֵיךְ הָיוּ לְשַׁמָּה כְרָגַע סָפוּ תַמּוּ מִן־בַּלָּהוֹת

כִּי יִתְחַמֵּץ לְבָבִי וְכִלְיוֹתַי אֶשְׁתּוֹנָן

וַאֲנִי־בַעַר וְלֹא אֵדָע בְּהֵמוֹת הָיִיתִי עִמָּךְ

וַאֲנִי תָמִיד עִמָּךְ אָחַזְתָּ בְּיַד־יְמִינִי

 73:23 waániy tämiyd iMäkh' ächaz'Tä B'yad-y'miyniy

 73:23 Nevertheless I x589 [am] continually 8548 with x5973 thee: thou hast holden 270 z8804 [me] by my right 3225 hand. 3027

בַּעֲצָתְךָ תַנְחֵנִי וְאַחַר כָּבוֹד תִּקָּחֵנִי

 73:24 Baátzät'khä tan'chëniy w'achar Kävôd TiQächëniy

 73:24 Thou shalt guide 5148 z8686 me with thy counsel, 6098 and afterward 310 receive 3947 z8799 me [to] glory. 3519

מִי־לִי בַשָּׁמָיִם וְעִמְּךָ לֹא־חָפַצְתִּי בָאָרֶץ

 73:25 miy-liy vaSHämäyim w'iM'khä lo-chäfatz'Tiy vääretz

 73:25 Whom x4310 have I in heaven 8064 [but thee]? and [there is] none x3808 upon earth 776 [that] I desire 2654 z8804 beside x5973 thee.

כָּלָה שְׁאֵרִי וּלְבָבִי צוּר־לְבָבִי וְחֶלְקִי אֱלֹהִים לְעוֹלָם

 73:26 Käläh sh'ëriy ûl'väviy tzûr-l'väviy w'chel'qiy élohiym l'ôläm

 73:26 My flesh 7607 and my heart 3824 faileth: 3615 z8804 [but] ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 [is] the strength 6697 of my heart, 3824 and my portion 2506 for ever. 5769

כִּי־הִנֵּה רְחֵקֶיךָ יֹאבֵדוּ הִצְמַתָּה כָּל־זוֹנֶה מִמֶּךָּ

וַאֲנִי קִרֲבַת אֱלֹהִים לִי־טוֹב שַׁתִּי בַּאדֹנָי יְהוִֹה מַחְסִי לְסַפֵּר כָּל־מַלְאֲכוֹתֶיךָ

 73:28 waániy qirávat élohiym liy-ţôv shaTiy Badonäy y'hôih mach'šiy l'šaPër Käl-mal'ákhôteykhä

 73:28 But y589 [it x589 is] good 2896 for me to draw near 7132 to ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים: 430 I have put 7896 z8804 my trust 4268 in ´Áđönäy אֲדֹנָי 136 Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3069 that I may declare 5608 z8763 all x3605 thy works. 4399
