Psalms 77

1 The psalmist sheweth what fierce combat he had with diffidence. 10 The victory which he had by consideration of God's great and gracious works.

 77:1 [[For the choir director; according to Jeduthun. A Psalm of Asaph.]] My voice 6963 [rises] to God 430, and I will cry 6817 aloud 6817; My voice 6963 [rises] to God 430, and He will hear 238 me.

 77:2 In the day 3117 of my trouble 6869a I sought 1875 the Lord 136; In the night 3915 my hand 3027 was stretched 5064 out without 3808 weariness 6313; My soul 5315 refused 3985 to be comforted 5162.

 77:3 [When] I remember 2142 God 430, then I am disturbed 1993; [When] I sigh 7878, then my spirit 7307 grows 5848c faint 5848c. Selah 5542.

 77:4 You have held 270 my eyelids 5869 8109 [open]; I am so troubled 6470 that I cannot 3808 speak 1696.

 77:5 I have considered 2803 the days 3117 of old 6924a, The years 8141 of long 5769 ago 5769.

 77:6 I will remember 2142 my song 5058 in the night 3915; I will meditate 7878 with my heart 3824, And my spirit 7307 ponders 2664:

 77:7 ¶ Will the Lord 136 reject 2186a forever 5769? And will He never 3808 be favorable 7521 again 3254?

 77:8 Has His lovingkindness 2617a ceased 656 forever 5331? Has [His] promise 561 come 1584 to an end 1584 forever 1755?

 77:9 Has God 410 forgotten 7911 to be gracious 2603a, Or 518 has He in anger 639 withdrawn 7092 His compassion 7356? Selah 5542.

 77:10 Then I said 559, “It is my grief 2470a, That the right 3225 hand 3225 of the Most 5945b High 5945b has changed 8132.”

 77:11 ¶ I shall remember 2142 the deeds 4611 of the LORD 3050; Surely 3588 I will remember 2142 Your wonders 6382 of old 6924a.

 77:12 I will meditate 1897 on all 3605 Your work 6467 And muse 7878 on Your deeds 5949.

 77:13 Your way 1870, O God 430, is holy 6944; What 4310 god 410 is great 1419 like our God 430?

 77:14 You are the God 410 who works 6213a wonders 6382; You have made 3045 known 3045 Your strength 5797 among the peoples 5971a.

 77:15 You have by Your power 2220 redeemed 1350 Your people 5971a, The sons 1121 of Jacob 3290 and Joseph 3130. Selah 5542.

 77:19 Your way 1870 was in the sea 3220 And Your paths 7635 in the mighty 7227a waters 4325, And Your footprints 6119 may not be known 3045.

 77:20 You led 5148 Your people 5971a like a flock 6629 By the hand 3027 of Moses 4872 and Aaron 175.
