Psalms 123

1 The godly profess their confidence in God, 3 and pray to be delivered from contempt.

 123:1 [[A Song of Ascents.]] To You I lift 5375 up my eyes 5869, O You who are enthroned 3427 in the heavens 8064!

 123:2 Behold 2009, as the eyes 5869 of servants 5650 [look] to the hand 3027 of their master 113, As the eyes 5869 of a maid 8189 to the hand 3027 of her mistress 1404, So 3651 our eyes 5869 [look] to the LORD 3068 our God 430, Until 5704 He is gracious 2603a to us.

 123:3 ¶ Be gracious 2603a to us, O LORD 3068, be gracious 2603a to us, For we are greatly 7227a filled 7646 with contempt 937.

 123:4 Our soul 5315 is greatly 7227a filled 7646 With the scoffing 3933 of those who 7600 are at ease 7600, [And] with the contempt 937 of the proud 1349.
