1 The safety of such as trust in God. 4 A prayer for the godly, and against the wicked.

 125:1 [[A Song of Ascents.]] Those who trust 982 in the LORD 3068 Are as Mount 2022 Zion 6726, which cannot 3808 be moved 4131 but abides 3427 forever 5769.

 125:2 As the mountains 2022 surround 5439 Jerusalem 3389, So the LORD 3068 surrounds 5439 His people 5971a From this 6258 time 6258 forth and forever 5704 5769.

 125:3 For the scepter 7626 of wickedness 7562 shall not rest 5117 upon the land 1486 of the righteous 6662, So that the righteous 6662 will not put 7971 forth 7971 their hands 3027 to do wrong 5767b.

 125:4 ¶ Do 3190 good 3190, O LORD 3068, to those who 2896a are good 2896a And to those who 2896a are upright 3477 in their hearts 3820.

 125:5 But as for those who turn 5186 aside 5186 to their crooked 6128 ways 6128, The LORD 3068 will lead 1980 them away with the doers 6466 of iniquity 205. Peace 7965 be upon Israel 3478.
