Psalms 109
1 David, complaining of his slanderous enemies, under the person of Judas devoteth them. 16 He sheweth their sin. 21 Complaining of his own misery, he prayeth for help. 30 He promiseth thankfulness.
109:1
[[For the choir director. A Psalm of David.]] O God 430 of my praise 8416, Do not be silent 2790b!
109:2
For they have opened 6605a the wicked 7563 and deceitful 4820 mouth 6310 against 5921 me; They have spoken 1696 against 854 me with a lying 8267 tongue 3956.
109:3
They have also surrounded 5437 me with words 1697 of hatred 8135, And fought 3898a against me without 2600 cause 2600.
109:4
In return 8478 for my love 160 they act 7853 as my accusers 7853; But I am [in] prayer 8605.
109:5
Thus they have repaid 7760 me evil 7463a for good 2899b And hatred 8135 for my love 160.

¶ Appoint 6485 a wicked 7563 man 7563 over 5921 him, And let an accuser 7854 stand 5975 at his right 3225 hand 3225.

When he is judged 8199, let him come 3318 forth 3318 guilty 7563, And let his prayer 8605 become 1961 sin 2401.

Let his days 3117 be few 4592; Let another 312 take 3947 his office 6486.

Let his children 1121 be fatherless 3490 And his wife 802 a widow 490.

Let his children 1121 wander 5128 about and beg 7592; And let them seek 1875 [sustenance] far from their ruined 2723 homes 2723.

Let the creditor 5383 seize 5367 all 3605 that he has, And let strangers 2114a plunder 962 the product 3018 of his labor 3018.

Let there be none 408 to extend 4900 lovingkindness 2617a to him, Nor 408 any to be gracious 2603a to his fatherless 3490 children 3490.

Let his posterity 319 be cut 3772 off 3772; In a following 312 generation 1755 let their name 8034 be blotted 4229a out.

¶ Let the iniquity 5771 of his fathers 1 be remembered 2142 before 413 the LORD 3068, And do not let the sin 2403b of his mother 517 be blotted 4229a out.
109:15
Let them be before 5048 the LORD 3068 continually 8548, That He may cut 3772 off 3772 their memory 2143 from the earth 776;
109:16
Because 3282 he did not remember 2142 to show 6213a lovingkindness 2617a, But persecuted 7291 the afflicted 6041 and needy 34 man 376, And the despondent 3512a in heart 3824, to put 4191 [them] to death 4191.

He also loved 157 cursing 7045, so it came 935 to him; And he did not delight 2654a in blessing 1293, so it was far 7368 from him.

But he clothed 3847 himself with cursing 7045 as with his garment 4055, And it entered 935 into his body 7130 like water 4325 And like oil 8081 into his bones 6106.

Let it be to him as a garment 899b with which he covers 5844a himself, And for a belt 4206a with which he constantly 8548 girds 2296 himself.

Let this 384 be the reward 6468 of my accusers 7853 from the LORD 3068, And of those who speak 1696 evil 7451b against 5921 my soul 5315.

¶ But You, O GOD 3068, the Lord 136, deal 6213a [kindly] with me for Your name’s 8034 sake 4616; Because 3588 Your lovingkindness 2617a is good 2896a, deliver 5337 me;

For I am afflicted 6041 and needy 34, And my heart 3820 is wounded 2490a within 7130 me.

I am passing 1980 like a shadow 6738 when it lengthens 5186; I am shaken 5287 off 5287 like the locust 697.

My knees 1290 are weak 3782 from fasting 6685, And my flesh 1320 has grown 3584 lean 3584, without 4480 fatness 8081.

I also have become 1961 a reproach 2781 to them; When they see 7200 me, they wag 5128 their head 7218.

¶ Help 5826 me, O LORD 3068 my God 430; Save 3467 me according to Your lovingkindness 2617a.

And let them know 3045 that this 384 is Your hand 3027; You, LORD 3068, have done 6213a it.

Let them curse 7043, but You bless 1288; When they arise 6965, they shall be ashamed 954, But Your servant 5650 shall be glad 8055.

Let my accusers 7853 be clothed 3847 with dishonor 3639, And let them cover 5844a themselves with their own shame 1322 as with a robe 4598.

¶ With my mouth 6310 I will give 3034 thanks 3034 abundantly 3966 to the LORD 3068; And in the midst 8432 of many 7227a I will praise 1984b Him.

For He stands 5975 at the right 3225 hand 3225 of the needy 34, To save 3467 him from those who judge 8199 his soul 5315.
