1 David's thirst for God. 4 His manner of blessing God. 9 His confidence of his enemies' destruction, and his own safety.

 63:1 [[A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.]] O God 430, You are my God 410; I shall seek 7836 You earnestly 7836; My soul 5315 thirsts 6770 for You, my flesh 1320 yearns 3642 for You, In a dry 6723 and weary 5889 land 776 where there is no 1097 water 4325.

 63:2 Thus 3651 I have seen 2372 You in the sanctuary 6944, To see 7200 Your power 5797 and Your glory 3519b.

 63:3 Because 3588 Your lovingkindness 2617a is better 2896a than 4480 life 2425b, My lips 8193 will praise 7623b You.

 63:4 So 3651 I will bless 1288 You as long as I live 2425b; I will lift 5375 up my hands 3709 in Your name 8034.

 63:5 My soul 5315 is satisfied 7646 as with marrow 2459 and fatness 1880, And my mouth 6310 offers 1984b praises 1984b with joyful 7445 lips 8193.

 63:6 ¶ When 518 I remember 2142 You on my bed 3326, I meditate 1897 on You in the night watches 821,

 63:7 For You have been 1961 my help 5833, And in the shadow 6738 of Your wings 3671 I sing 7442 for joy 7442.

 63:8 My soul 5315 clings 1692 to You; Your right 3225 hand 3225 upholds 8551 me.

 63:9 ¶ But those 1992a who seek 1245 my life 5315 to destroy 7724b it, Will go 935 into the depths 8482 of the earth 776.

 63:10 They will be delivered 5064 over 5064 to the power 3027 of the sword 2719; They will be a prey 4521 for foxes 7776.

 63:11 But the king 4428 will rejoice 8055 in God 430; Everyone 3605 who swears 7650 by Him will glory 1984b, For the mouths 6310 of those who speak 1696 lies 8267 will be stopped 5534a.
