Psalms 131

1 David, professing his humility, 3 exhorteth Israel to hope in God.

 131:1 [[A Song of Ascents, of David.]] O LORD 3068, my heart 3820 is not proud 1361b, nor 3808 my eyes 5869 haughty 7311; Nor 3808 do I involve 1980 myself in great 1419 matters, Or in things 6381 too 4480 difficult 6381 for me.

 131:2 Surely 518 3808 I have composed 7737a and quieted 1826a my soul 5315; Like a weaned 1580 child [rests] against 5921 his mother 517, My soul 5315 is like a weaned 1580 child within 5921 me.

 131:3 O Israel 3478, hope 3176 in the LORD 3068 From this 6258 time 6258 forth and forever 5704 5769.
