David soliciteth God to the speedy destruction of the wicked, and preservation of the godly.

 70:1 [[For the choir director. [A Psalm] of David; for a memorial.]] O God 430, [hasten] to deliver 5337 me; O LORD 3068, hasten 2363a to my help 5833!

 70:2 Let those be ashamed 954 and humiliated 2659 Who seek 1245 my life 5315; Let those be turned 5472 back 268 and dishonored 3637 Who delight 2655 in my hurt 7463a.

 70:3 Let those be turned 7725 back 7725 because 5921 6118 of their shame 1322 Who say 559, “Aha 1889, aha 1889!”

 70:4 ¶ Let all 3605 who seek 1245 You rejoice 7797 and be glad 8055 in You; And let those who love 157 Your salvation 3444 say 559 continually 8548, “Let God 430 be magnified 1431.”

 70:5 But I am afflicted 6041 and needy 34; Hasten 2363a to me, O God 430! You are my help 5828 and my deliverer 6403; O LORD 3068, do not delay 309.
