Psalms 120

1 David prayeth against Doeg, 3 reproveth his tongue, 5 complaineth of his necessary conversation with the wicked.

 120:1 [[A Song of Ascents.]] In my trouble 6869a I cried 7121 to the LORD 3068, And He answered 6030a me.

 120:2 Deliver 5337 my soul 5315, O LORD 3068, from lying 8267 lips 8193, From a deceitful 7423a tongue 3956.

 120:3 What 4100 shall be given 5414 to you, and what 4100 more 3254 shall be done 3254 to you, You deceitful 7423a tongue 3956?

 120:4 Sharp 8150 arrows 2671 of the warrior 1368, With the [burning] coals 1513 of the broom 7574 tree 7574.

 120:5 ¶ Woe 190 is me, for I sojourn 1481a in Meshech 4902, For I dwell 7931 among 5973 the tents 168 of Kedar 6938!

 120:6 Too long 7227a has my soul 5315 had its dwelling 7931 With those who hate 8130 peace 7965.

 120:7 I am [for] peace 7965, but when 3588 I speak 1696, They are for war 4421.
