Psalms 13

1 David complaineth of delay in help. 3 He prayeth for preventing grace. 5 He boasteth of divine mercy.

 13:1 [[For the choir director. A Psalm of David.]] How 575 long 5704, O LORD 3068? Will You forget 7911 me forever 5331? How 575 long 5704 will You hide 5641 Your face 6440 from me?

 13:2 How 575 long 5704 shall I take 7896 counsel 6098 in my soul 5315, [Having] sorrow 3015 in my heart 3824 all the day 3119? How 575 long 5704 will my enemy 340 be exalted 7311 over 5921 me?

 13:3 ¶ Consider 5027 [and] answer 6030a me, O LORD 3068 my God 430; Enlighten 215 my eyes 5869, or 6435 I will sleep 3462 the [sleep of] death 4194,

 13:4 And my enemy 340 will say 559, “I have overcome 3201 him,” [And] my adversaries 6862c will rejoice 1523 when 3588 I am shaken 4131.

 13:5 ¶ But I have trusted 982 in Your lovingkindness 2617a; My heart 3820 shall rejoice 1523 in Your salvation 3444.

 13:6 I will sing 7891 to the LORD 3068, Because 3588 He has dealt 1580 bountifully 1580 with me.
