Psalms 146

1 The psalmist voweth perpetual praises to God. 3 He exhorteth not to trust in man. 5 God, for his power, justice, mercy, and Kingdom, is only worthy to be trusted.

 146:1 Praise 1984b the LORD 3050! Praise 1984b the LORD 3068, O my soul 5315!

 146:2 I will praise 1984b the LORD 3068 while I live 2425b; I will sing 2167 praises 2167 to my God 430 while 5750 I have my being.

 146:3 Do not trust 982 in princes 5081, In mortal 1121 man 120, in whom 7945 there 369 is no 369 salvation 8668.

 146:4 His spirit 7307 departs 3318, he returns 7725 to the earth 127; In that very day 3117 his thoughts 6250 perish 6.

 146:5 How blessed 835 is he whose 7945 help 5828 is the God 410 of Jacob 3290, Whose hope 7664 is in the LORD 3068 his God 430,

 146:6 Who made 6213a heaven 8064 and earth 776, The sea 3220 and all 3605 that is in them; Who keeps 8104 faith 571 forever 5769;

 146:7 Who executes 6213a justice 4941 for the oppressed 6231; Who gives 5414 food 3899 to the hungry 7457. The LORD 3068 sets 5425b the prisoners 631 free 6605a.

 146:8 ¶ The LORD 3068 opens 6491b [the eyes of] the blind 5787; The LORD 3068 raises 2210 up those who are bowed 3721 down 3721; The LORD 3068 loves 157 the righteous 6662;

 146:9 The LORD 3068 protects 8104 the strangers 1616; He supports 5749a the fatherless 3490 and the widow 490, But He thwarts 5791 the way 1870 of the wicked 7563.

 146:10 The LORD 3068 will reign 4427a forever 5769, Your God 430, O Zion 6726, to all 1755 generations 1755. Praise 1984b the LORD 3050!
