Psalms 129

1 An exhortation to praise God for saving Israel in their great afflictions. 5 The haters of the Church are cursed.

 129:1 [[A Song of Ascents.]] “Many 7227a times 7227a they have persecuted 6887c me from my youth 5271 up,” Let Israel 3478 now 4994 say 559,

 129:2 “Many 7227a times 7227a they have persecuted 6887c me from my youth 5271 up; Yet 1571 they have not prevailed 3201 against me.

 129:3 “The plowers 2790a plowed 2790a upon my back 1354; They lengthened 748 their furrows 4618.”

 129:4 The LORD 3068 is righteous 6662; He has cut 7112 in two 7112 the cords 5688 of the wicked 7563.

 129:5 ¶ May all 3605 who hate 8130 Zion 6726 Be put 954 to shame 954 and turned 5472 backward 268;

 129:6 Let them be like grass 2682 upon the housetops 1406, Which 7945 withers 3001 before 6927 it grows 8025 up;

 129:7 With which 7945 the reaper 7114b does not fill 4390 his hand 3709, Or the binder 6014a of sheaves 6014a his bosom 2683;

 129:8 Nor 3808 do those who pass 5674a by say 559, “The blessing 1293 of the LORD 3068 be upon you; We bless 1288 you in the name 8034 of the LORD 3068.”
