Psalms 107
1 The psalmist exhorteth the redeemed, in praising God, to observe his manifold providence, 4 over travelers, 10 over captives, 17 over sick men, 23 over seamen, 33 and in divers varieties of life.
107:1
Oh give 3034 thanks 3034 to the LORD 3068, for He is good 2896a, For His lovingkindness 2617a is everlasting 5769.
107:2
Let the redeemed 1350 of the LORD 3068 say 559 [so], Whom 834 He has redeemed 1350 from the hand 3027 of the adversary 6862c
107:3
And gathered 6908 from the lands 776, From the east 4217 and from the west 4628, From the north 6828 and from the south 3220.
107:4
¶ They wandered 8582 in the wilderness 4057b in a desert 3452 region 3452; They did not find 4672 a way 1870 to an inhabited 4186 city 5892b.
107:5
[They were] hungry 7457 and thirsty 6771; Their soul 5315 fainted 5848c within them.
107:6
Then they cried 6817 out to the LORD 3068 in their trouble 6862b; He delivered 5337 them out of their distresses 4691.
107:7
He led 1869 them also by a straight 3477 way 1870, To go 1980 to an inhabited 4186 city 5892b.
107:8
Let them give 3034 thanks 3034 to the LORD 3068 for His lovingkindness 2617a, And for His wonders 6381 to the sons 1121 of men 120!
107:9
For He has satisfied 7646 the thirsty 8264 soul 5315, And the hungry 7457 soul 5315 He has filled 4390 with what 2896b is good 2896b.
107:10
¶ There were those who dwelt 3427 in darkness 2822 and in the shadow 6757 of death 6757, Prisoners 615 in misery 6040a and chains 1270,
107:11
Because 3588 they had rebelled 4784 against the words 561 of God 410 And spurned 5006 the counsel 6098 of the Most 5945b High 5945b.
107:12
Therefore He humbled 3665 their heart 3820 with labor 5999; They stumbled 3782 and there 369 was none 369 to help 5826.

Then they cried 2199 out to the LORD 3068 in their trouble 6862b; He saved 3467 them out of their distresses 4691.
107:14
He brought 3318 them out of darkness 2822 and the shadow 6757 of death 6757 And broke 5423 their bands 4147 apart 5423.

Let them give 3034 thanks 3034 to the LORD 3068 for His lovingkindness 2617a, And for His wonders 6381 to the sons 1121 of men 120!
107:16
For He has shattered 7665 gates 1817 of bronze 5178 And cut 1438 bars 1280 of iron 1270 asunder 1438.

¶ Fools 191, because 4480 of their rebellious 6588 way 1870, And because 4480 of their iniquities 5771, were afflicted 6031a.

Their soul 5315 abhorred 8581 all 3605 kinds of food 400, And they drew 5060 near 5060 to the gates 8179 of death 4194.

Then they cried 2199 out to the LORD 3068 in their trouble 6862b; He saved 3467 them out of their distresses 4691.

He sent 7971 His word 1697 and healed 7495 them, And delivered 4422 [them] from their destructions 7825.

Let them give 3034 thanks 3034 to the LORD 3068 for His lovingkindness 2617a, And for His wonders 6381 to the sons 1121 of men 120!

Let them also offer 2076 sacrifices 2077 of thanksgiving 8426, And tell 5608 of His works 4639 with joyful 7440 singing 7440.

¶ Those who go 3381 down 3381 to the sea 3220 in ships 591, Who do 6213a business 4399 on great 7227a waters 4325;

They have seen 7200 the works 4639 of the LORD 3068, And His wonders 6381 in the deep 4688.

For He spoke 559 and raised 5975 up a stormy 5591b wind 7307, Which lifted 7311 up the waves 1530 of the sea.

They rose 5927 up to the heavens 8064, they went 3381 down 3381 to the depths 8415; Their soul 5315 melted 4127 away in [their] misery 7463a.

They reeled 2287 and staggered 5128 like a drunken 7910 man 7910, And were at their wits’ 2451 end 1104.

Then they cried 6817 to the LORD 3068 in their trouble 6862b, And He brought 3318 them out of their distresses 4691.

He caused 6965 the storm 5591b to be still 1827, So that the waves 1530 of the sea were hushed 2814.

Then they were glad 8055 because 3588 they were quiet 8367, So He guided 5148 them to their desired 2656 haven 4231.

Let them give 3034 thanks 3034 to the LORD 3068 for His lovingkindness 2617a, And for His wonders 6381 to the sons 1121 of men 120!

Let them extol 7311 Him also in the congregation 6951 of the people 5971a, And praise 1984b Him at the seat 4186 of the elders 2205.

¶ He changes 7760 rivers 5104 into a wilderness 4057b And springs 4161 of water 4325 into a thirsty 6774 ground 6774;

A fruitful 6529 land 776 into a salt 4420 waste 4420, Because 4480 of the wickedness 7463a of those who dwell 3427 in it.
107:35
He changes 7760 a wilderness 4057b into a pool 98 of water 4325 And a dry 6723 land 776 into springs 4161 of water 4325;

And there 8033 He makes the hungry 7457 to dwell 3427, So that they may establish 3559 an inhabited 4186 city 5892b,

And sow 2232 fields 7704 and plant 5193 vineyards 3754, And gather 6213a a fruitful 6529 harvest 8393.

Also He blesses 1288 them and they multiply 7235a greatly 3966, And He does not let their cattle 929 decrease 4591.

¶ When they are diminished 4591 and bowed 7817 down 7817 Through 4480 oppression 6115, misery 7463a and sorrow 3015,
107:40
He pours 8210 contempt 937 upon princes 5081 And makes them wander 8582 in a pathless 3808 1870 waste 8414.

But He sets 7682 the needy 34 securely 7682 on high 7682 away from affliction 6040a, And makes 7760 [his] families 4940 like a flock 6629.

The upright 3477 see 7200 it and are glad 8055; But all 3605 unrighteousness 5767b shuts 7092 its mouth 6310.

Who 4310 is wise 2450? Let him give 8104 heed 8104 to these 428 things 428, And consider 995 the lovingkindnesses 2617a of the LORD 3068.
