Psalms 141

1 David prayeth that his suit may be acceptable, 3 his conscience sincere, 7 and his life safe from snares.

 141:1 [[A Psalm of David.]] O LORD 3068, I call 7121 upon You; hasten 2363a to me! Give 238 ear 238 to my voice 6963 when I call 7121 to You!

 141:2 May my prayer 8605 be counted 3559 as incense 7004 before 6440 You; The lifting 4864 up of my hands 3709 as the evening 6153 offering 4503.

 141:3 Set 7896 a guard 8108, O LORD 3068, over my mouth 6310; Keep 5341 watch 5341 over 5921 the door 1800a of my lips 8193.

 141:4 Do not incline 5186 my heart 3820 to any evil 7451a thing 1697, To practice 5953a deeds 5953a of wickedness 7562 With men 376 who do 6466 iniquity 205; And do not let me eat 3898b of their delicacies 4516.

 141:5 ¶ Let the righteous 6662 smite 1986 me in kindness 2617a and reprove 3198 me; It is oil 8081 upon the head 7218; Do not let my head 7218 refuse 5106 it, For still 5750 my prayer 8605 is against their wicked 7463a deeds 7463a.

 141:6 Their judges 8199 are thrown 8058 down 8058 by the sides 3027 of the rock 5553, And they hear 8085 my words 561, for they are pleasant 5276.

 141:7 As when one plows 6398 and breaks 1234 open 1234 the earth 776, Our bones 6106 have been scattered 6340 at the mouth 6310 of Sheol 7585.

 141:8 ¶ For my eyes 5869 are toward 413 You, O GOD 3068, the Lord 136; In You I take 2620 refuge 2620; do not leave 6168 me defenseless 6168 5315.

 141:9 Keep 8104 me from the jaws 3027 of the trap 6341a which they have set 3369 for me, And from the snares 4170 of those who do 6466 iniquity 205.

 141:10 Let the wicked 7563 fall 5307 into their own nets 4364a, While 5704 I pass 5674a by safely 3162.
