David's confidence in God's grace.

 23:1 [[A Psalm of David.]] The LORD 3068 is my shepherd 7462a, I shall not want 2637.

 23:2 He makes me lie 7257 down 7257 in green 1877 pastures 5116c; He leads 5095 me beside 5921 quiet 4496 waters 4325.

 23:3 He restores 7725 my soul 5315; He guides 5148 me in the paths 4570 of righteousness 6664 For His name’s 8034 sake 4616.

 23:4 ¶ Even 1571 though 3588 I walk 1980 through the valley 1516 of the shadow 6757 of death 6757, I fear 3372a no 3808 evil 7451b, for You are with me; Your rod 7626 and Your staff 4938b, they comfort 5162 me.

 23:5 You prepare 6186a a table 7979 before 6440 me in the presence 5048 of my enemies 6887c; You have anointed 1878 my head 7218 with oil 8081; My cup 3563a overflows 7310.

 23:6 Surely 389 goodness 2896b and lovingkindness 2617a will follow 7291 me all 3605 the days 3117 of my life 2425b, And I will dwell 3427 in the house 1004 of the LORD 3068 forever 753 3117.
