Psalms 30

1 David praiseth God for his deliverance. 4 He exhorteth others to praise him by example of God's dealing with him.

 30:1 [[A Psalm; a Song at the Dedication of the House. [A Psalm] of David.]] I will extol 7311 You, O LORD 3068, for You have lifted 1802a me up, And have not let my enemies 340 rejoice 8055 over me.

 30:2 O LORD 3068 my God 430, I cried 7768 to You for help 7768, and You healed 7495 me.

 30:3 O LORD 3068, You have brought 5927 up my soul 5315 from Sheol 7585; You have kept 2421a me alive 2421a, that I would not go 3381 down 3381 to the pit 953a.

 30:4 Sing 2167 praise 2167 to the LORD 3068, you His godly 2623 ones 2623, And give 3034 thanks 3034 to His holy 6944 name 2143.

 30:5 For His anger 639 is but for a moment 7281, His favor 7522 is for a lifetime 2425b; Weeping 1065 may last 3885a for the night 6153, But a shout 7440 of joy 7440 [comes] in the morning 1242.

 30:6 ¶ Now as for me, I said 559 in my prosperity 7959, “I will never 1077 5769 be moved 4131.”

 30:7 O LORD 3068, by Your favor 7522 You have made my mountain 2022 to stand 5975 strong 5797; You hid 5641 Your face 6440, I was dismayed 926.

 30:8 To You, O LORD 3068, I called 7121, And to the Lord 3068 I made 2603a supplication 2603a:

 30:9 “What 4100 profit 1215 is there in my blood 1818, if I go 3381 down 3381 to the pit 7845? Will the dust 6083 praise 3034 You? Will it declare 5046 Your faithfulness 571?

 30:10 ¶ “Hear 8085, O LORD 3068, and be gracious 2603a to me; O LORD 3068, be my helper 5826.”

 30:11 You have turned 2015 for me my mourning 4553 into dancing 4234; You have loosed 6605a my sackcloth 8242 and girded 247 me with gladness 8057,

 30:12 That [my] soul 3519b may sing 2167 praise 2167 to You and not be silent 1826a. O LORD 3068 my God 430, I will give 3034 thanks 3034 to You forever 5769.
