1 A thanksgiving for victory. 7 Confidence of further success.

 21:1 [[For the choir director. A Psalm of David.]] O LORD 3068, in Your strength 5797 the king 4428 will be glad 8055, And in Your salvation 3444 how 4100 greatly 3966 he will rejoice 1523!

 21:2 You have given 5414 him his heart’s 3820 desire 8378, And You have not withheld 4513 the request 782 of his lips 8193. Selah 5542.

 21:3 For You meet 6923 him with the blessings 1293 of good 2896b things 2896b; You set 7896 a crown 5850 of fine 6337 gold 6337 on his head 7218.

 21:4 He asked 7592 life 2425b of You, You gave 5414 it to him, Length 753 of days 3117 forever 5769 and ever 5703.

 21:5 His glory 3519b is great 1419 through Your salvation 3444, Splendor 1935 and majesty 1926 You place 7737b upon him.

 21:6 For You make 7896 him most 1293 blessed 1293 forever 5703; You make 2302b him joyful 2302b with gladness 8057 in Your presence 6440.

 21:7 ¶ For the king 4428 trusts 982 in the LORD 3068, And through the lovingkindness 2617a of the Most 5945b High 5945b he will not be shaken 4131.

 21:8 Your hand 3027 will find 4672 out all 3605 your enemies 340; Your right 3225 hand 3027 will find 4672 out those who hate 8130 you.

 21:9 You will make 7896 them as a fiery 784 oven 8574 in the time 6256 of your anger 6440; The LORD 3068 will swallow 1104 them up in His wrath 639, And fire 784 will devour 398 them.

 21:10 Their offspring 6529 You will destroy 6 from the earth 776, And their descendants 2233 from among the sons 1121 of men 120.

 21:11 Though 3588 they intended 5186 evil 7463a against 5921 You [And] devised 2803 a plot 4209, They will not succeed 3201.

 21:12 For You will make 7896 them turn 7896 their back 7926; You will aim 3559 with Your bowstrings 4340 at their faces 6440.

 21:13 Be exalted 7311, O LORD 3068, in Your strength 5797; We will sing 7891 and praise 2167 Your power 1369.
