1 The Church blesseth the king in his exploits. 7 Her confidence in God's succour.

 20:1 [[For the choir director. A Psalm of David.]] May the LORD 3068 answer 6030a you in the day 3117 of trouble 6869a! May the name 8034 of the God 430 of Jacob 3290 set 7682 you [securely] on high 7682!

 20:2 May He send 7971 you help 5828 from the sanctuary 6944 And support 5582 you from Zion 6726!

 20:3 May He remember 2142 all 3605 your meal 4503 offerings 4503 And find 1878 your burnt 5930a offering 5930a acceptable 1878! Selah 5542.

 20:4 ¶ May He grant 5414 you your heart’s 3824 desire And fulfill 4390 all 3605 your counsel 6098!

 20:5 We will sing 7442 for joy 7442 over your victory 3444, And in the name 8034 of our God 430 we will set 1713b up our banners 1713b. May the LORD 3068 fulfill 4390 all 3605 your petitions 4862.

 20:6 ¶ Now 6258 I know 3045 that the LORD 3068 saves 3467 His anointed 4899; He will answer 6030a him from His holy 6944 heaven 8064 With the saving 3468 strength 1369 of His right 3225 hand 3225.

 20:7 Some 428 [boast] in chariots 7393 and some 428 in horses 5483b, But we will boast 2142 in the name 8034 of the LORD 3068, our God 430.

 20:8 They have bowed 3766 down 3766 and fallen 5307, But we have risen 6965 and stood 5749a upright 5749a.

 20:9 Save 3467, O LORD 3068; May the King 4428 answer 6030a us in the day 3117 we call 7121.
