Psalms 28

1 David prayeth earnestly against his enemies. 6 He blesseth God. 9 He prayeth for the people.

 28:1 [[[A Psalm] of David.]] To You, O LORD 3068, I call 7121; My rock 6697, do not be deaf 2790b to me, For if You are silent 2814 to me, I will become 4911a like 4911a those who go 3381 down 3381 to the pit 953a.

 28:2 Hear 8085 the voice 6963 of my supplications 8469 when I cry 7768 to You for help 7768, When I lift 5375 up my hands 3027 toward 413 Your holy 6944 sanctuary 1687.

 28:3 Do not drag 4900 me away 4900 with the wicked 7563 And with those who work 6466 iniquity 205, Who speak 1696 peace 7965 with their neighbors 7453, While evil 7463a is in their hearts 3824.

 28:4 Requite 5414 them according to their work 6467 and according to the evil 7455 of their practices 4611; Requite 5414 them according to the deeds 4639 of their hands 3027; Repay 7725 them their recompense 1576.

 28:5 Because 3588 they do not regard 995 the works 6468 of the LORD 3068 Nor 3808 the deeds 4639 of His hands 3027, He will tear 2040 them down 2040 and not build 1129 them up.

 28:6 ¶ Blessed 1288 be the LORD 3068, Because 3588 He has heard 8085 the voice 6963 of my supplication 8469.

 28:7 The LORD 3068 is my strength 5797 and my shield 4043; My heart 3820 trusts 982 in Him, and I am helped 5826; Therefore my heart 3820 exults 5937, And with my song 7892a I shall thank 3034 Him.

 28:8 The LORD 3068 is their strength 5797, And He is a saving 3444 defense 4581 to His anointed 4899.

 28:9 Save 3467 Your people 5971a and bless 1288 Your inheritance 5159; Be their shepherd 7462a also, and carry 5375 them forever 5704 5769.
