1 David fleeth to God upon his former experience. 4 He voweth perpetual service unto him, because of his promises.

 61:1 [[For the choir director; on a stringed instrument. [A Psalm] of David.]] Hear 8085 my cry 7440, O God 430; Give 7181 heed 7181 to my prayer 8605.

 61:2 From the end 7097a of the earth 776 I call 7121 to You when my heart 3820 is faint 5848c; Lead 5148 me to the rock 6697 that is higher 7311 than 4480 I.

 61:3 For You have been 1961 a refuge 4268 for me, A tower 4026 of strength 5797 against 4480 6440 the enemy 340.

 61:4 Let me dwell 1481a in Your tent 168 forever 5769; Let me take 2620 refuge 2620 in the shelter 5643a of Your wings 3671. Selah 5542.

 61:5 ¶ For You have heard 8085 my vows 5088, O God 430; You have given 5414 [me] the inheritance 3425 of those who fear 3372a Your name 8034.

 61:6 You will prolong 3254 the king’s 4428 life 3117; His years 8141 will be as many 1755 generations 1755.

 61:7 He will abide 3427 before 6440 God 430 forever 5769; Appoint 4487 lovingkindness 2617a and truth 571 that they may preserve 5341 him.

 61:8 So 3651 I will sing 2167 praise 2167 to Your name 8034 forever 5703, That I may pay 7999a my vows 5088 day 3117 by day 3117.
