1 David reproveth wicked judges, 3 describeth the nature of the wicked, 6 devoteth them to God's judgments, 10 whereat the righteous shall rejoice.

 58:1 [[For the choir director; [set to] Al-tashheth. A Mikhtam of David.]] Do you indeed 552 speak 1696 righteousness 6664, O gods 410? Do you judge 8199 uprightly 4339, O sons 1121 of men 120?

 58:2 No 637, in heart 3820 you work 6466 unrighteousness 5767b; On earth 776 you weigh 6424 out the violence 2555 of your hands 3027.

 58:3 The wicked 7563 are estranged 2114a from the womb 7358; These who speak 1696 lies 3577 go 8582 astray 8582 from birth 990.

 58:4 They have venom 2534 like 1823 the venom 2534 of a serpent 5175; Like 3644 a deaf 2795 cobra 6620 that stops 331 up its ear 241,

 58:5 So 834 that it does not hear 8085 the voice 6963 of charmers 3907, [Or] a skillful 2449 caster 2266 of spells 2267.

 58:6 ¶ O God 430, shatter 2040 their teeth 8127 in their mouth 6310; Break 5422 out the fangs 4973 of the young 3715 lions 3715, O LORD 3068.

 58:7 Let them flow 3988b away like 3644 water 4325 that runs 1980 off 1980; [When] he aims 1869 his arrows 2671, let them be as headless 4448d shafts 4135.

 58:8 [Let them be] as a snail 7642a which melts 8557 away 8557 as it goes 1980 along, [Like] the miscarriages 5309 of a woman 802 which never 1077 see 2372 the sun 8121.

 58:9 Before 2962 your pots 5518a can feel 995 [the fire of] thorns 329 He will sweep 8175a them away 8175a with a whirlwind 8175a, the green 2416a and the burning 2740 alike 3644.

 58:10 ¶ The righteous 6662 will rejoice 8055 when 3588 he sees 2372 the vengeance 5359; He will wash 7364 his feet 6471 in the blood 1818 of the wicked 7563.

 58:11 And men 120 will say 559, “Surely 389 there is a reward 6529 for the righteous 6662; Surely 389 there 3426 is a God 430 who judges 8199 on earth 776!”
