Psalms 66

1 David exhorteth to praise God, 5 to observe his great works, 8 to bless him for his gracious benefits. 12 He voweth for himself religious service to God. 16 He declareth God's special goodness to himself.

 66:1 [[For the choir director. A Song. A Psalm.]] Shout 7321 joyfully 7321 to God 430, all 3605 the earth 776;

 66:2 Sing 2167 the glory 3519b of His name 8034; Make 7760 His praise 8416 glorious 3519b.

 66:3 Say 559 to God 430, “How 4100 awesome 3372a are Your works 4639! Because of the greatness 7230 of Your power 5797 Your enemies 340 will give 3584 feigned 3584 obedience 3584 to You.

 66:4 “All 3605 the earth 776 will worship 7812 You, And will sing 2167 praises 2167 to You; They will sing 2167 praises 2167 to Your name 8034.” Selah 5542.

 66:5 ¶ Come 1980 and see 7200 the works 4659b of God 430, [Who is] awesome 3372a in [His] deeds 5949 toward 5921 the sons 1121 of men 120.

 66:6 He turned 2015 the sea 3220 into dry 3004 land 3004; They passed 5674a through the river 5104 on foot 7272; There 8033 let us rejoice 8055 in Him!

 66:7 He rules 4910 by His might 1369 forever 5703; His eyes 5869 keep 6822 watch 6822 on the nations 1471; Let not the rebellious 5637 exalt 7311 themselves. Selah 5542.

 66:8 ¶ Bless 1288 our God 430, O peoples 5971a, And sound 8085 6963 His praise 8416 abroad,

 66:9 Who keeps 7760 us in life 2425b And does not allow 5414 our feet 7272 to slip 4131.

 66:10 For You have tried 974 us, O God 430; You have refined 6884 us as silver 3701 is refined 6884.

 66:11 You brought 935 us into the net 4686a; You laid 7760 an oppressive 4157 burden 4157 upon our loins 4975.

 66:12 You made men 582 ride 7392 over our heads 7218; We went 935 through fire 784 and through water 4325, Yet You brought 3318 us out into [a place of] abundance 7310.

 66:13 I shall come 935 into Your house 1004 with burnt 5930a offerings 5930a; I shall pay 7999a You my vows 5088,

 66:14 Which 834 my lips 8193 uttered 6475 And my mouth 6310 spoke 1696 when I was in distress 6862b.

 66:15 I shall offer 5927 to You burnt 5930a offerings 5930a of fat 4220 beasts 4220, With the smoke 7004 of rams 352a; I shall make 6213a [an offering of] bulls 1241 with male 6260 goats 6260. Selah 5542.

 66:16 ¶ Come 1980 [and] hear 8085, all 3605 who fear 3372a God 430, And I will tell 5608 of what 834 He has done 6213a for my soul 5315.

 66:17 I cried 7121 to Him with my mouth 6310, And He was extolled 7311 with my tongue 3956.

 66:18 If 518 I regard 7200 wickedness 205 in my heart 3820, The Lord 136 will not hear 8085;

 66:19 But certainly 403 God 430 has heard 8085; He has given 7181 heed 7181 to the voice 6963 of my prayer 8605.

 66:20 Blessed 1288 be God 430, Who 834 has not turned 5493 away 5493 my prayer 8605 Nor 3808 His lovingkindness 2617a from me.
