1 The happiness of the godly. 4 The unhappiness of the ungodly.

 1:1 How blessed 835 is the man 376 who 834 does not walk 1980 in the counsel 6098 of the wicked 7563, Nor 3808 stand 5975 in the path 1870 of sinners 2400, Nor 3808 sit 3427 in the seat 4186 of scoffers 3917b!

 1:2 But his delight 2656 is in the law 8451 of the LORD 3068, And in His law 8451 he meditates 1897 day 3119 and night 3915.

 1:3 He will be like a tree 6086 [firmly] planted 8362 by streams 6388 of water 4325, Which 834 yields 5414 its fruit 6529 in its season 6256 And its leaf 5929 does not wither 5034b; And in whatever 3605 834 he does 6213a, he prospers 6743b.

 1:4 ¶ The wicked 7563 are not so 3651, But they are like chaff 4671b which 834 the wind 7307 drives 5086 away 5086.

 1:5 Therefore 5921 3651 the wicked 7563 will not stand 6965 in the judgment 4941, Nor 3808 sinners 2400 in the assembly 5712 of the righteous 6662.

 1:6 For the LORD 3068 knows 3045 the way 1870 of the righteous 6662, But the way 1870 of the wicked 7563 will perish 6.
