1 The state of the godly. 3 Their safety. 9 Their habitation. 11 Their servants. 14 Their friend, with the effects of them all.
91:1
He who dwells 3427 in the shelter 5643a of the Most 5945b High 5945b Will abide 3885a in the shadow 6738 of the Almighty 7706b.
91:2
I will say 559 to the LORD 3068, “My refuge 4268 and my fortress 4686b, My God 430, in whom I trust 982!”
91:3
For it is He who delivers 5337 you from the snare 6341a of the trapper 3353 And from the deadly 1942 pestilence 1698.
91:4
He will cover 5526a you with His pinions 84, And under 8478 His wings 3671 you may seek 2620 refuge 2620; His faithfulness 571 is a shield 6793c and bulwark 5507.
91:5
¶ You will not be afraid 3372a of the terror 6343 by night 3915, Or of the arrow 2671 that flies 5774a by day 3119;
91:6
Of the pestilence 1698 that stalks 1980 in darkness 652, Or of the destruction 6986 that lays 7703 waste 7703 at noon 6672a.
91:7
A thousand 505 may fall 5307 at your side 6654 And ten 7233 thousand 7233 at your right 3225 hand 3225, [But] it shall not approach 5066 you.
91:8
You will only 7534 look 5027 on with your eyes 5869 And see 7200 the recompense 8011 of the wicked 7563.
91:9
For you have made 7760 the LORD 3068, my refuge 4268, [Even] the Most 5945b High 5945b, your dwelling 4583 place 4583.
91:10
No 3808 evil 7463a will befall 579 you, Nor 3808 will any plague 5061 come 7126 near 7126 your tent 168.
91:11
¶ For He will give 6680 His angels 4397 charge 6680 concerning you, To guard 8104 you in all 3605 your ways 1870.
91:12
They will bear 5375 you up in their hands 3709, That you do not strike 5062 your foot 7272 against a stone 68.
91:13
You will tread 1869 upon the lion 7826 and cobra 6620, The young 3715 lion 3715 and the serpent 8577 you will trample 7429 down 7429.
91:14
¶ “Because 3588 he has loved 2836a Me, therefore I will deliver 6403 him; I will set 7682 him [securely] on high 7682, because 3588 he has known 3045 My name 8034.
91:15
“He will call 7121 upon Me, and I will answer 6030a him; I will be with him in trouble 6869a; I will rescue 2502a him and honor 3513 him.
91:16
“With a long 753 life 3117 I will satisfy 7646 him And let him see 7200 My salvation 3444.”
