1 Godliness hath the promises for this life, 4 and of the life to come. 10 The prosperity of the godly shall be an eyesore to the wicked.

112:1 Praise 1984b the LORD 3050! How blessed 835 is the man 376 who fears 3372a the LORD 3068, Who greatly 3966 delights 2654a in His commandments 4687.

112:2 His descendants 2233 will be mighty 1368 on earth 776; The generation 1755 of the upright 3477 will be blessed 1288.

112:3 Wealth 1952 and riches 6239 are in his house 1004, And his righteousness 6666 endures 5975 forever 5703.

112:4 Light 216 arises 2224 in the darkness 2822 for the upright 3477; [He is] gracious 2587 and compassionate 7349 and righteous 6662.

112:5 It is well 2896a with the man 376 who is gracious 2603a and lends 3867b; He will maintain 3557 his cause 1697 in judgment 4941.

112:6 For he will never 5769 3808 be shaken 4131; The righteous 6662 will be remembered 2143 forever 5769.

112:7 ¶ He will not fear 3372a evil 7451a tidings 8052; His heart 3820 is steadfast 3559, trusting 982 in the LORD 3068.

112:8 His heart 3820 is upheld 5564, he will not fear 3372a, Until 5704 he looks 7200 [with satisfaction] on his adversaries 6862c.

112:9 He has given 5414 freely 6340 to the poor 34, His righteousness 6666 endures 5975 forever 5703; His horn 7161 will be exalted 7311 in honor 3519b.

112:10 ¶ The wicked 7563 will see 7200 it and be vexed 3707, He will gnash 2786 his teeth 8127 and melt 4549 away 4549; The desire 8378 of the wicked 7563 will perish 6.
