Psalms 54

1 David, complaining of the Ziphims, prayeth for salvation. 4 Upon his confidence in God's help he promiseth sacrifice.

 54:1 [[For the choir director; on stringed instruments. A Maskil of David, when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, “Is not David hiding himself among us?”]] Save 3467 me, O God 430, by Your name 8034, And vindicate 1777 me by Your power 1369.

 54:2 Hear 8085 my prayer 8605, O God 430; Give 238 ear 238 to the words 561 of my mouth 6310.

 54:3 For strangers 2114a have risen 6965 against 5921 me And violent 6184 men 6184 have sought 1245 my life 5315; They have not set 7760 God 430 before 5048 them. Selah 5542.

 54:4 ¶ Behold 2009, God 430 is my helper 5826; The Lord 136 is the sustainer 5564 of my soul 5315.

 54:5 He will recompense 7725 the evil 7451b to my foes 7796b; Destroy 6789 them in Your faithfulness 571.

 54:6 ¶ Willingly 5071 I will sacrifice 2076 to You; I will give 3034 thanks 3034 to Your name 8034, O LORD 3068, for it is good 2896a.

 54:7 For He has delivered 5337 me from all 3605 trouble 6869a, And my eye 5869 has looked 7200 [with satisfaction] upon my enemies 340.
