1 The majesty of God in the Church. 5 His order to gather saints. 7 The pleasure of God is not in ceremonies, 14 but in sincerity of obedience.
50:1
[[A Psalm of Asaph.]] The Mighty 410 One 410, God 430, the LORD 3068, has spoken 1696, And summoned 7121 the earth 776 from the rising 4217 of the sun 8121 to its setting 3996.
50:2
Out of Zion 6726, the perfection 4359 of beauty 3308, God 430 has shone 3313 forth 3313.
50:3
May our God 430 come 935 and not keep 2790b silence 2790b; Fire 784 devours 398 before 6440 Him, And it is very 3966 tempestuous 8175a around 5439 Him.
50:4
He summons 7121 the heavens 8064 above 4480 5921, And the earth 776, to judge 1777 His people 5971a:

“Gather 622 My godly 2623 ones 2623 to Me, Those who have made 3772 a covenant 1285 with Me by sacrifice 2077.”
50:6
And the heavens 8064 declare 5046 His righteousness 6664, For God 430 Himself 1931 is judge 8199. Selah 5542.

¶ “Hear 8085, O My people 5971a, and I will speak 1696; O Israel 3478, I will testify 5749b against you; I am God 430, your God 430.

“I do not reprove 3198 you for your sacrifices 2077, And your burnt 5930a offerings 5930a are continually 8548 before 5048 Me.
50:9
“I shall take 3947 no 3808 young 6499 bull 6499 out of your house 1004 Nor male 6260 goats 6260 out of your folds 4356.

“For every 3605 beast 2421b of the forest 3293a is Mine, The cattle 929 on a thousand 505 hills 2022.
50:11
“I know 3045 every 3605 bird 5775 of the mountains 2022, And everything 2123a that moves 2123a in the field 7706a is Mine 5973.

“If 518 I were hungry 7456 I would not tell 559 you, For the world 8398 is Mine, and all 4393 it contains 4393.

“Shall I eat 398 the flesh 1320 of bulls 47 Or drink 8354 the blood 1818 of male 6260 goats 6260?

“Offer 2076 to God 430 a sacrifice 2076 of thanksgiving 8426 And pay 7999a your vows 5088 to the Most 5945b High 5945b;

Call 7121 upon Me in the day 3117 of trouble 6869a; I shall rescue 2502a you, and you will honor 3513 Me.”

¶ But to the wicked 7563 God 430 says 559, “What 4100 right have you to tell 5608 of My statutes 2706 And to take 5375 My covenant 1285 in your mouth 6310?

“For you hate 8130 discipline 4148, And you cast 7993 My words 1697 behind 310 you.

“When 518 you see 7200 a thief 1590, you are pleased 7521 with him, And you associate 2506 with adulterers 5003.

“You let 7971 your mouth 6310 loose 7971 in evil 7463a And your tongue 3956 frames 6775 deceit 4820.

“You sit 3427 and speak 1696 against your brother 251; You slander 5414 1848 your own mother’s 517 son 1121.

“These 428 things 428 you have done 6213a and I kept 2790b silence 2790b; You thought 1819 that I was just like 3644 you; I will reprove 3198 you and state 6186a [the case] in order 6186a before your eyes 5869.

¶ “Now 4994 consider 995 this 384, you who forget 7911 God 433, Or 6435 I will tear 2963 [you] in pieces, and there 369 will be none 369 to deliver 5337.

“He who offers 2076 a sacrifice 2076 of thanksgiving 8426 honors 3513 Me; And to him who orders 7760 [his] way 1870 [aright] I shall show 7200 the salvation 3468 of God 430.”
