Psalms 32

1 Blessedness consisteth in remission of sins. 3 Confession of sins giveth ease to the conscience. 8 God's promises bring joy.

 32:1 [[[A Psalm] of David. A Maskil.]] How blessed 835 is he whose transgression 6588 is forgiven 5375, Whose sin 2401 is covered 3680!

 32:2 How blessed 835 is the man 120 to whom the LORD 3068 does not impute 2803 iniquity 5771, And in whose spirit 7307 there 369 is no 369 deceit 7423a!

 32:3 ¶ When 3588 I kept 2790b silent 2790b [about my sin], my body 6106 wasted 1086 away 1086 Through my groaning 7581 all 3605 day 3117 long.

 32:4 For day 3119 and night 3915 Your hand 3027 was heavy 3513 upon me; My vitality 3955 was drained 2015 away [as] with the fever 2725 heat 2725 of summer 7019c. Selah 5542.

 32:5 I acknowledged 3045 my sin 2403b to You, And my iniquity 5771 I did not hide 3680; I said 559, “I will confess 3034 my transgressions 6588 to the LORD 3068”; And You forgave 5375 the guilt 5771 of my sin 2403b. Selah 5542.

 32:6 Therefore 5921 2088, let everyone 3605 who is godly 2623 pray 6419 to You in a time 6256 when You may be found 4672; Surely 7534 in a flood 7858 of great 7227a waters 4325 they will not reach 5060 him.

 32:7 You are my hiding 5643a place 5643a; You preserve 5341 me from trouble 6862b; You surround 5437 me with songs 7438 of deliverance 6405. Selah 5542.

 32:8 ¶ I will instruct 7919a you and teach 3384 you in the way 1870 which 2098 you should go 1980; I will counsel 3289 you with My eye 5869 upon you.

 32:9 Do not be as the horse 5483b or as the mule 6505 which have 369 no 369 understanding 995, Whose trappings 5716 include bit 4964 and bridle 7448 to hold 1102 them in check 1102, [Otherwise] they will not come 7126 near 7126 to you.

 32:10 Many 7227a are the sorrows 4341 of the wicked 7563, But he who trusts 982 in the LORD 3068, lovingkindness 2617a shall surround 5437 him.

 32:11 Be glad 8055 in the LORD 3068 and rejoice 1523, you righteous 6662 ones 6662; And shout 7442 for joy 7442, all 3605 you who are upright 3477 in heart 3820.
