Psalms 64

1 David prayeth for deliverance, complaining of his enemies. 7 He promiseth himself to see such an evident destruction of his enemies, that the righteous shall rejoice at it.

 64:1 [[For the choir director. A Psalm of David.]] Hear 8085 my voice 6963, O God 430, in my complaint 7879; Preserve 5341 my life 2425b from dread 6343 of the enemy 340.

 64:2 Hide 5641 me from the secret 5475 counsel 5475 of evildoers 7489a, From the tumult 7285b of those who do 6466 iniquity 205,

 64:3 Who 834 have sharpened 8150 their tongue 3956 like a sword 2719. They aimed 1869 bitter 4751 speech 1697 [as] their arrow 2671,

 64:4 To shoot 3384 from concealment 4565 at the blameless 8535; Suddenly 6597 they shoot 3384 at him, and do not fear 3372a.

 64:5 They hold 2388 fast 2388 to themselves an evil 7451a purpose 1697; They talk 5608 of laying 2934 snares 4170 secretly 2934; They say 559, “Who 4310 can see 7200 them?”

 64:6 They devise 2664 injustices 5767b, [saying], “We are ready 8552 with a well-conceived 2664 plot 2665”; For the inward 7130 thought 7130 and the heart 3820 of a man 376 are deep 6013.

 64:7 ¶ But God 430 will shoot 3384 at them with an arrow 2671; Suddenly 6597 they will be wounded 4347.

 64:8 So they will make him stumble 3782; Their own tongue 3956 is against 5921 them; All 3605 who see 7200 them will shake 5074 the head.

 64:9 Then all 3605 men 120 will fear 3372a, And they will declare 5046 the work 6467 of God 430, And will consider 7919a what 4639 He has done 4639.

 64:10 The righteous 6662 man 6662 will be glad 8055 in the LORD 3068 and will take 2620 refuge 2620 in Him; And all 3605 the upright 3477 in heart 3820 will glory 1984b.
