הוֹי הַיֹּרְדִים מִצְרַיִם לְעֶזְרָה עַל־סוּסִים יִשָּׁעֵנוּ וַיִּבְטְחוּ עַל־רֶכֶב כִּי רָב וְעַל פָּרָשִׁים כִּי־עָצְמוּ מְאֹד וְלֹא שָׁעוּ עַל־קְדוֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאֶת־יְהוָה לֹא דָרָשׁוּ

 31:1 hôy haYor'diym mitz'rayim l'ez'räh al-šûšiym yiSHäënû waYiv'ţ'chû al-rekhev Kiy räv w'al Päräshiym Kiy-ätz'mû m'od w'lo shäû al-q'dôsh yis'räël w'et-y'hwäh lo däräshû

 31:1 ¶ Woe 1945 to them that go down 3381 z8802 to Mixrayim מִצרַיִם 4714 for help; 5833 and stay 8172 z8735 on x5921 horses, 5483 and trust 982 z8799 in x5921 chariots, 7393 because x3588 [they are] many; 7227 and in x5921 horsemen, 6571 because x3588 they are very y3966 strong; 6105 z8804 x3966 but they look 8159 z8804 not x3808 unto x5921 the Holy One 6918 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 neither x3808 seek 1875 z8804 Yähwè יָהוֶה! 3068

וְגַם־הוּא חָכָם וַיָּבֵא רָע וְאֶת־דְּבָרָיו לֹא הֵסִיר וְקָם עַל־בֵּית מְרֵעִים וְעַל־עֶזְרַת פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן

 31:2 w'gam-hû chäkhäm waYävë rä w'et-D'väräyw lo hëšiyr w'qäm al-Bëyt m'rëiym w'al-ez'rat Poálëy äwen

 31:2 Yet he x1931 also x1571 [is] wise, 2450 and will bring 935 z8686 evil, 7451 and will not x3808 call back 5493 z8689 his words: 1697 but will arise 6965 z8804 against x5921 the house 1004 of the evildoers, 7489 z8688 and against x5921 the help 5833 of them that work 6466 z8802 iniquity. 205

וּמִצְרַיִם אָדָם וְלֹא־אֵל וְסוּסֵיהֶם בָּשָׂר וְלֹא־רוּחַ וַיהוָה יַטֶּה יָדוֹ וְכָשַׁל עוֹזֵר וְנָפַל עָזֻר וְיַחְדָּו כֻּלָּם יִכְלָיוּן ס

 31:3 ûmitz'rayim ädäm w'lo-ël w'šûšëyhem Bäsär w'lo-rûªch wayhwäh yaŢeh yädô w'khäshal ôzër w'näfal äzur w'yach'Däw KuLäm yikh'läyûn š

 31:3 Now the Mixrîm מִצרִים 4714 [are] men, 120 and not x3808 ´Ël אֵל; 410 and their horses 5483 flesh, 1320 and not x3808 spirit. 7307 When Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 shall stretch out 5186 z8686 his hand, 3027 both he that helpeth 5826 z8802 shall fall, 3782 z8804 and he that is holpen 5826 z8803 shall fall down, 5307 z8804 and they all x3605 shall fail 3615 z8799 together. 3162

כִּי כֹה אָמַר־יְהוָה אֵלַי כַּאֲשֶׁר יֶהְגֶּה הָאַרְיֵה וְהַכְּפִיר עַל־טַרְפּוֹ אֲשֶׁר יִקָּרֵא עָלָיו מְלֹא רֹעִים מִקּוֹלָם לֹא יֵחָת וּמֵהֲמוֹנָם לֹא יַעֲנֶה כֵּן יֵרֵד יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת לִצְבֹּא עַל־הַר־צִיּוֹן וְעַל־גִּבְעָתָהּ

 31:4 Kiy khoh ämar-y'hwäh ëlay Kaásher yeh'Geh häar'yëh w'haK'fiyr al-ţar'Pô ásher yiQärë äläyw m'lo roiym miQôläm lo yëchät ûmëhámônäm lo yaáneh Kën yërëd y'hwäh tz'väôt litz'Bo al-har-tziYôn w'al-Giv'ätäH

 31:4 For x3588 thus x3541 hath Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 spoken 559 z8804 unto x413 me, Like as x834 the lion 738 and the young lion 3715 roaring 1897 z8799 on x5921 his prey, 2964 when x834 a multitude 4393 of shepherds 7462 z8802 is called forth 7121 z8735 against x5921 him, [he] will not x3808 be afraid 2865 z8735 of their voice, 6963 x4480 nor x3808 abase 6031 z8799 himself for the noise 1995 x4480 of them: so x3651 shall Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 Xævä´ôŧ צְבָאוֹת 6635 come down 3381 z8799 to fight 6633 z8800 for x5921 mount 2022 Xiyyôn צִיּוֹן, 6726 and for x5921 the hill 1389 thereof.

כְּצִפֳּרִים עָפוֹת כֵּן יָגֵן יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת עַל־יְרוּשָׁלִָם גָּנוֹן וְהִצִּיל פָּסֹחַ וְהִמְלִיט

 31:5 K'tziPóriym äfôt Kën yägën y'hwäh tz'väôt al-y'rûshäläim Gänôn w'hiTZiyl Päšoªch w'him'liyţ

 31:5 As birds 6833 flying, 5774 z8802 so x3651 will Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 Xævä´ôŧ צְבָאוֹת 6635 defend 1598 z8686 x5921 Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם; 3389 defending 1598 z8800 also he will deliver 5337 z8689 [it; and] passing over 6452 z8800 he will preserve 4422 z8689 it.

שׁוּבוּ לַאֲשֶׁר הֶעְמִיקוּ סָרָה בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל

 31:6 shûvû laásher he'miyqû šäräh B'nëy yis'räël

 31:6 ¶ Turn 7725 z8798 ye unto [him from] whom x834 the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 have deeply 6009 z8689 revolted. 5627

כִּי בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא יִמְאָסוּן אִישׁ אֱלִילֵי כַסְפּוֹ וֶאֱלִילֵי זְהָבוֹ אֲשֶׁר עָשׂוּ לָכֶם יְדֵיכֶם חֵטְא

 31:7 Kiy BaYôm hahû yim'äšûn iysh éliylëy khaš'Pô weéliylëy z'hävô ásher äsû läkhem y'dëykhem chëţ'

 31:7 For x3588 in that x1931 day 3117 every man 376 shall cast away 3988 z8799 his idols 457 of silver, 3701 and his idols 457 of gold, 2091 which x834 your own hands 3027 have made 6213 z8804 unto you [for] a sin. 2399

וְנָפַל אַשּׁוּר בְּחֶרֶב לֹא־אִישׁ וְחֶרֶב לֹא־אָדָם תֹּאכֲלֶנּוּ וְנָס לוֹ מִפְּנֵי־חֶרֶב וּבַחוּרָיו לָמַס יִהְיוּ

 31:8 w'näfal aSHûr B'cherev lo-iysh w'cherev lo-ädäm TokháleNû w'näš lô miP'nëy-cherev ûvachûräyw lämaš yih'yû

 31:8 ¶ Then shall the ´Aššûr אַשּׁוּר 804 fall 5307 z8804 with the sword, 2719 not x3808 of a mighty man; 376 and the sword, 2719 not x3808 of a mean man, 120 shall devour 398 z8799 him: but he shall flee 5127 z8804 from 6440 x4480 the sword, 2719 and his young men 970 shall be x1961 discomfited. 4522

וְסַלְעוֹ מִמָּגוֹר יַעֲבוֹר וְחַתּוּ מִנֵּס שָׂרָיו נְאֻם־יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר־אוּר לוֹ בְּצִיּוֹן וְתַנּוּר לוֹ בִּירוּשָׁלִָם ס

 31:9 w'šal'ô miMägôr yaávôr w'chaTû miNëš säräyw n'um-y'hwäh ásher-ûr lô B'tziYôn w'taNûr lô Biyrûshäläim š

 31:9 And he shall pass over 5674 z8799 to his strong hold 5553 for fear, 4032 x4480 and his princes 8269 shall be afraid 2865 z8804 of the ensign, 5251 x4480 saith 5002 z8803 Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 whose x834 fire 217 [is] in Xiyyôn צִיּוֹן, 6726 and his furnace 8574 in Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם. 3389
