וַיַּגֵּד לְיַעֲקֹב וַיֹּאמֶר הִנֵּה בִּנְךָ יוֹסֵף בָּא אֵלֶיךָ וַיִּתְחַזֵּק יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיֵּשֶׁב עַל־הַמִּטָּה

 48:2 And [one] told 5046 z8686 Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב, 3290 and said, 559 z8799 Behold, x2009 thy son 1121 Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 cometh 935 z8802 unto x413 thee: and Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 strengthened y2388 z8691 himself, x2388 and sat 3427 z8799 upon x5921 the bed. 4296

וַיֹּאמֶר יַעֲקֹב אֶל־יוֹסֵף אֵל שַׁדַּי נִרְאָה־אֵלַי בְּלוּז בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן וַיְבָרֶךְ אֹתִי

 48:3 And Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב 3290 said 559 z8799 unto x413 Yôsëf יוֹסֵף, 3130 ´Ël אֵל 410 Šadday שַׁדַּי 7706 appeared 7200 z8738 unto x413 me at Lûz לוּז 3870 in the land 776 of Cænä`an כְּנָעַן, 3667 and blessed 1288 z8762 me,

וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי הִנְנִי מַפְרְךָ וְהִרְבִּיתִךָ וּנְתַתִּיךָ לִקְהַל עַמִּים וְנָתַתִּי אֶת־הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת לְזַרְעֲךָ אַחֲרֶיךָ אֲחֻזַּת עוֹלָם

 48:4 waYomer ëlay hin'niy maf'r'khä w'hir'Biytikhä ûn'taTiykhä liq'hal aMiym w'nätaTiy et-hääretz haZot l'zar'ákhä acháreykhä áchuZat ôläm

 48:4 And said 559 z8799 unto x413 me, Behold, x2009 I will make thee fruitful, 6509 z8688 and multiply 7235 z8689 thee, and I will make 5414 z8804 of thee a multitude 6951 of people; 5971 and will give 5414 z8804 x853 this x2063 land 776 to thy seed 2233 after x310 thee y310 [for] an everlasting 5769 possession. 272

וְעַתָּה שְׁנֵי־בָנֶיךָ הַנּוֹלָדִים לְךָ בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם עַד־בֹּאִי אֵלֶיךָ מִצְרַיְמָה לִי־הֵם אֶפְרַיִם וּמְנַשֶּׁה כִּרְאוּבֵן וְשִׁמְעוֹן יִהְיוּ־לִי

 48:5 w'aTäh sh'nëy-väneykhä haNôlädiym l'khä B'eretz mitz'rayim ad-Boiy ëleykhä mitz'ray'mäh liy-hëm ef'rayim ûm'naSHeh Kir'ûvën w'shim'ôn yih'yû-liy

 48:5 ¶ And now x6258 thy two 8147 sons, 1121 ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם 669 and Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁה, 4519 which were born 3205 z8737 unto thee in the land 776 of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם 4714 before 5704 I came 935 z8800 unto x413 thee into Mixrayim מִצרַיִם, 4714 [are] mine; as Ræ´ûvën רְאוּבֵן 7205 and Šim`ôn שִׁמעוֹן, 8095 they shall be x1961 mine.

וּמוֹלַדְתְּךָ אֲשֶׁר־הוֹלַדְתָּ אַחֲרֵיהֶם לְךָ יִהְיוּ עַל שֵׁם אֲחֵיהֶם יִקָּרְאוּ בְּנַחֲלָתָם

 48:6 ûmôlad'T'khä ásher-hôlad'Tä achárëyhem l'khä yih'yû al shëm áchëyhem yiQär'û B'nachálätäm

 48:6 And thy issue, 4138 which x834 thou begettest 3205 z8689 after 310 them, shall be x1961 thine, [and] shall be called 7121 z8735 after 5921 the name 8034 of their brethren 251 in their inheritance. 5159

וַאֲנִי בְּבֹאִי מִפַּדָּן מֵתָה עָלַי רָחֵל בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנַעַן בַּדֶּרֶךְ בְּעוֹד כִּבְרַת־אֶרֶץ לָבֹא אֶפְרָתָה וָאֶקְבְּרֶהָ שָּׁם בְּדֶרֶךְ אֶפְרָת הִוא בֵּית לָחֶם

וַיַּרְא יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת־בְּנֵי יוֹסֵף וַיֹּאמֶר מִי־אֵלֶּה

 48:8 waYar' yis'räël et-B'nëy yôšëf waYomer miy-ëLeh

 48:8 And Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 beheld 7200 z8799 Yôsëf's יוֹסֵף 3130 x853 sons, 1121 and said, 559 z8799 Who x4310 [are] these? x428

וַיֹּאמֶר יוֹסֵף אֶל־אָבִיו בָּנַי הֵם אֲשֶׁר־נָתַן־לִי אֱלֹהִים בָּזֶה וַיֹּאמַר קָחֶם־נָא אֵלַי וַאֲבָרֲכֵם

 48:9 waYomer yôšëf el-äviyw Bänay hëm ásher-nätan-liy élohiym Bäzeh waYomar qächem-nä ëlay waávärákhëm

 48:9 And Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 said 559 z8799 unto x413 his father, 1 They x1992 [are] my sons, 1121 whom x834 ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 hath given 5414 z8804 me in this x2088 [place]. And he said, 559 z8799 Bring x3947 them, y3947 z8798 I pray thee, x4994 unto x413 me, and I will bless 1288 z8762 them.

וְעֵינֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כָּבְדוּ מִזֹּקֶן לֹא יוּכַל לִרְאוֹת וַיַּגֵּשׁ אֹתָם אֵלָיו וַיִּשַּׁק לָהֶם וַיְחַבֵּק לָהֶם

 48:10 w'ëynëy yis'räël Käv'dû miZoqen lo yûkhal lir'ôt waYaGësh otäm ëläyw waYiSHaq lähem way'chaBëq lähem

 48:10 Now the eyes 5869 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 were dim 3513 z8804 for age, 2207 x4480 [so that] he could 3201 z8799 not x3808 see. 7200 z8800 And he brought them near 5066 z8686 x853 unto x413 him; and he kissed 5401 z8799 them, and embraced 2263 z8762 them.

וַיֹּאמֶר יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל־יוֹסֵף רְאֹה פָנֶיךָ לֹא פִלָּלְתִּי וְהִנֵּה הֶרְאָה אֹתִי אֱלֹהִים גַּם אֶת־זַרְעֶךָ

 48:11 waYomer yis'räël el-yôšëf r'oh fäneykhä lo fiLäl'Tiy w'hiNëh her'äh otiy élohiym Gam et-zar'ekhä

 48:11 And Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 said 559 z8799 unto x413 Yôsëf יוֹסֵף, 3130 I had not x3808 thought 6419 z8765 to see 7200 z8800 thy face: 6440 and, lo, x2009 ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 hath shewed 7200 z8689 me also x1571 x853 thy seed. 2233

וַיּוֹצֵא יוֹסֵף אֹתָם מֵעִם בִּרְכָּיו וַיִּשְׁתַּחוּ לְאַפָּיו אָרְצָה

 48:12 waYôtzë yôšëf otäm mëim Bir'Käyw waYish'Tachû l'aPäyw är'tzäh

 48:12 And Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 brought them out 3318 z8686 x853 from between 5973 x4480 his knees, 1290 and he bowed y7812 z8691 himself x7812 with his face 639 to the earth. 776

וַיִּקַּח יוֹסֵף אֶת־שְׁנֵיהֶם אֶת־אֶפְרַיִם בִּימִינוֹ מִשְּׂמֹאל יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאֶת־מְנַשֶּׁה בִשְׂמֹאלוֹ מִימִין יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיַּגֵּשׁ אֵלָיו

 48:13 waYiQach yôšëf et-sh'nëyhem et-ef'rayim Biymiynô miS'mol yis'räël w'et-m'naSHeh vis'molô miymiyn yis'räël waYaGësh ëläyw

 48:13 And Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 took 3947 z8799 x853 them both, 8147 x853 ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם 669 in his right hand 3225 toward Yiŝrä´ël's יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 left hand, 8040 x4480 and Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁה 4519 in his left hand 8040 toward Yiŝrä´ël's יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 right hand, 3225 x4480 and brought [them] near 5066 z8686 unto x413 him.

וַיִּשְׁלַח יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת־יְמִינוֹ וַיָּשֶׁת עַל־רֹאשׁ אֶפְרַיִם וְהוּא הַצָּעִיר וְאֶת־שְׂמֹאלוֹ עַל־רֹאשׁ מְנַשֶּׁה שִׂכֵּל אֶת־יָדָיו כִּי מְנַשֶּׁה הַבְּכוֹר

 48:14 waYish'lach yis'räël et-y'miynô waYäshet al-rosh ef'rayim w'hû haTZäiyr w'et-s'molô al-rosh m'naSHeh siKël et-yädäyw Kiy m'naSHeh haB'khôr

 48:14 And Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 stretched out 7971 z8799 x853 his right hand, 3225 and laid 7896 z8799 [it] upon x5921 ´Efrayim's אֶפרַיִם 669 head, 7218 who x1931 [was] the younger, 6810 and his left hand 8040 upon x5921 Mænaššè's מְנַשֶּׁה 4519 head, 7218 guiding y7919 z0 his hands y3027 wittingly; 7919 z8765 x853 x3027 for x3588 Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁה 4519 [was] the firstborn. 1060

 48:15 ¶ And he blessed 1288 z8762 x853 Yôsëf יוֹסֵף, 3130 and said, 559 z8799 ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים, 430 before 6440 whom x834 my fathers 1 ´Avrähäm אַברָהָם 85 and Yixçäk יִצחָק 3327 did walk, 1980 z8694 the ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 which fed 7462 z8802 me all my life long 5750 x4480 unto x5704 this x2088 day, 3117

הַמַּלְאָךְ הַגֹּאֵל אֹתִי מִכָּל־רָע יְבָרֵךְ אֶת־הַנְּעָרִים וְיִקָּרֵא בָהֶם שְׁמִי וְשֵׁם אֲבֹתַי אַבְרָהָם וְיִצְחָק וְיִדְגּוּ לָרֹב בְּקֶרֶב הָאָרֶץ

 48:16 haMal'äkh' haGoël otiy miKäl-rä y'värëkh' et-haN'äriym w'yiQärë vähem sh'miy w'shëm ávotay av'rähäm w'yitz'chäq w'yid'Gû lärov B'qerev hääretz

 48:16 The Angel 4397 which redeemed 1350 z8802 me from all x4480 x3605 evil, 7451 bless 1288 z8762 x853 the lads; 5288 and let my name 8034 be named 7121 z8735 on them, and the name 8034 of my fathers 1 ´Avrähäm אַברָהָם 85 and Yixçäk יִצחָק; 3327 and let them grow 1711 z8799 into a multitude 7230 in the midst 7130 of the earth. 776

וַיַּרְא יוֹסֵף כִּי־יָשִׁית אָבִיו יַד־יְמִינוֹ עַל־רֹאשׁ אֶפְרַיִם וַיֵּרַע בְּעֵינָיו וַיִּתְמֹךְ יַד־אָבִיו לְהָסִיר אֹתָהּ מֵעַל רֹאשׁ־אֶפְרַיִם עַל־רֹאשׁ מְנַשֶּׁה

 48:17 And when Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 saw 7200 z8799 that x3588 his father 1 laid 7896 z8799 his right 3225 hand 3027 upon x5921 the head 7218 of ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם, 669 it displeased 5869 y3415 z8799 x7489 him: and he held up 8551 z8799 his father's 1 hand, 3027 to remove 5493 z8687 it from x4480 x5921 ´Efrayim's אֶפרַיִם 669 head 7218 unto x5921 Mænaššè's מְנַשֶּׁה 4519 head. 7218

 48:18 And Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 said 559 z8799 unto x413 his father, 1 Not x3808 so, x3651 my father: 1 for x3588 this x2088 [is] the firstborn; 1060 put 7760 z8798 thy right hand 3225 upon x5921 his head. 7218

וַיְמָאֵן אָבִיו וַיֹּאמֶר יָדַעְתִּי בְנִי יָדַעְתִּי גַּם־הוּא יִהְיֶה־לְּעָם וְגַם־הוּא יִגְדָּל וְאוּלָם אָחִיו הַקָּטֹן יִגְדַּל מִמֶּנּוּ וְזַרְעוֹ יִהְיֶה מְלֹא־הַגּוֹיִם

 48:20 And he blessed 1288 z8762 them that x1931 day, 3117 saying, 559 z8800 In thee shall Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 bless, 1288 z8762 saying, 559 z8800 ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 make 7760 z8799 thee as ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם 669 and as Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁה: 4519 and he set 7760 z8799 x853 ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם 669 before 6440 Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁה. 4519

וַיֹּאמֶר יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל־יוֹסֵף הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי מֵת וְהָיָה אֱלֹהִים עִמָּכֶם וְהֵשִׁיב אֶתְכֶם אֶל־אֶרֶץ אֲבֹתֵיכֶם

 48:21 And Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 said 559 z8799 unto x413 Yôsëf יוֹסֵף, 3130 Behold, x2009 I x595 die: 4191 z8801 but ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 shall be x1961 with x5973 you, and bring you again 7725 z8689 x853 unto x413 the land 776 of your fathers. 1

וַאֲנִי נָתַתִּי לְךָ שְׁכֶם אַחַד עַל־אַחֶיךָ אֲשֶׁר לָקַחְתִּי מִיַּד הָאֱמֹרִי בְּחַרְבִּי וּבְקַשְׁתִּי פ

 48:22 Moreover I x589 have given 5414 z8804 to thee one 259 portion 7926 above x5921 thy brethren, 251 which x834 I took 3947 z8804 out of the hand 3027 x4480 of the ´Émörî אֱמֹרִי 567 with my sword 2719 and with my bow. 7198
