 15:1 ¶ After 310 these x428 things 1697 the word 1697 of Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 came 1961 z8804 unto x413 ´Avräm אַברָם 87 in a vision, 4236 saying, 559 z8800 Fear 3372 z8799 not, x408 ´Avräm אַברָם: 87 I x595 [am] thy shield, 4043 [and] thy exceeding 3966 great 7235 z8687 reward. 7939

וַיֹּאמֶר אַבְרָם אֲדֹנָי יֱהוִה מַה־תִּתֶּן־לִי וְאָנֹכִי הוֹלֵךְ עֲרִירִי וּבֶן־מֶשֶׁק בֵּיתִי הוּא דַּמֶּשֶׂק אֱלִיעֶזֶר

 15:2 And ´Avräm אַברָם 87 said, 559 z8799 ´Áđönäy אֲדֹנָי 136 Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3069 what x4100 wilt thou give 5414 z8799 me, seeing I x595 go 1980 z8802 childless, 6185 and the steward 1121 4943 of my house 1004 [is] this 1931 ´Élî`ezer אֱלִיעֶזֶר 461 of Dammäŝek דַּמָּשֶׂק? 1834

וַיֹּאמֶר אַבְרָם הֵן לִי לֹא נָתַתָּה זָרַע וְהִנֵּה בֶן־בֵּיתִי יוֹרֵשׁ אֹתִי

וְהִנֵּה דְבַר־יְהוָה אֵלָיו לֵאמֹר לֹא יִירָשְׁךָ זֶה כִּי־אִם אֲשֶׁר יֵצֵא מִמֵּעֶיךָ הוּא יִירָשֶׁךָ

 15:4 w'hiNëh d'var-y'hwäh ëläyw lëmor lo yiyräsh'khä zeh Kiy-im ásher yëtzë miMëeykhä hû yiyräshekhä

 15:4 And, behold, x2009 the word 1697 of Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 [came] unto x413 him, saying, 559 z8800 This x2088 shall not x3808 be thine heir; 3423 z8799 but x3588 x518 he that x834 shall come forth 3318 z8799 out of thine own bowels 4578 x4480 shall be thine heir. 3423 z8799

וַיּוֹצֵא אֹתוֹ הַחוּצָה וַיֹּאמֶר הַבֶּט־נָא הַשָּׁמַיְמָה וּסְפֹר הַכּוֹכָבִים אִם־תּוּכַל לִסְפֹּר אֹתָם וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ כֹּה יִהְיֶה זַרְעֶךָ

 15:5 And he brought him forth 3318 z8686 x853 abroad, 2351 and said, 559 z8799 Look 5027 z8685 now x4994 toward heaven, 8064 and tell 5608 z8798 the stars, 3556 if x518 thou be able 3201 z8799 to number 5608 z8800 them: and he said 559 z8799 unto him, So 3541 shall thy seed 2233 be. x1961

וְהֶאֱמִן בַּיהוָה וַיַּחְשְׁבֶהָ לּוֹ צְדָקָה

 15:6 w'heémin Bayhwäh waYach'sh'vehä Lô tz'däqäh

וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו אֲנִי יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר הוֹצֵאתִיךָ מֵאוּר כַּשְׂדִּים לָתֶת לְךָ אֶת־הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת לְרִשְׁתָּהּ

וַיֹּאמַר אֲדֹנָי יֱהוִה בַּמָּה אֵדַע כִּי אִירָשֶׁנָּה

וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו קְחָה לִי עֶגְלָה מְשֻׁלֶּשֶׁת וְעֵז מְשֻׁלֶּשֶׁת וְאַיִל מְשֻׁלָּשׁ וְתֹר וְגוֹזָל

 15:9 waYomer ëläyw q'chäh liy eg'läh m'shuLeshet w'ëz m'shuLeshet w'ayil m'shuLäsh w'tor w'gôzäl

 15:9 And he said 559 z8799 unto x413 him, Take 3947 z8798 me an heifer 5697 of three years old, 8027 z8794 and a she goat 5795 of three years old, 8027 z8794 and a ram 352 of three years old, 8027 z8794 and a turtledove, 8449 and a young pigeon. 1469

וַיִּקַּח־לוֹ אֶת־כָּל־אֵלֶּה וַיְבַתֵּר אֹתָם בַּתָּוֶךְ וַיִּתֵּן אִישׁ־בִּתְרוֹ לִקְרַאת רֵעֵהוּ וְאֶת־הַצִפֹּר לֹא בָתָר

וַיֵּרֶד הָעַיִט עַל־הַפְּגָרִים וַיַּשֵּׁב אֹתָם אַבְרָם

וְגַם אֶת־הַגּוֹי אֲשֶׁר יַעֲבֹדוּ דָּן אָנֹכִי וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵן יֵצְאוּ בִּרְכֻשׁ גָּדוֹל

 15:14 w'gam et-haGôy ásher yaávodû Dän änokhiy w'achárëy-khën yëtz'û Bir'khush Gädôl

אֶת־הַקֵּינִי וְאֶת־הַקְּנִזִּי וְאֵת הַקַּדְמֹנִי

וְאֶת־הָאֱמֹרִי וְאֶת־הַכְּנַעֲנִי וְאֶת־הַגִּרְגָּשִׁי וְאֶת־הַיְבוּסִי ס

 15:21 w'et-häémoriy w'et-haK'naániy w'et-haGir'Gäshiy w'et-hay'vûšiy š

 15:21 And the ´Émörîm אֱמֹרִים, 567 and the Cæna`ánîm כְּנַעֲנִים, 3669 and the Girgäšîm גִּרגָּשִׁים, 1622 and the Yævûsîm יְבוּסִים. 2983
