וְאַשְׁבִּיעֲךָ בַּיהוָה אֱלֹהֵי הַשָּׁמַיִם וֵאלֹהֵי הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר לֹא־תִקַּח אִשָּׁה לִבְנִי מִבְּנוֹת הַכְּנַעֲנִי אֲשֶׁר אָנֹכִי יוֹשֵׁב בְּקִרְבּוֹ

כִּי אֶל־אַרְצִי וְאֶל־מוֹלַדְתִּי תֵּלֵךְ וְלָקַחְתָּ אִשָּׁה לִבְנִי לְיִצְחָק

 24:4 Kiy el-ar'tziy w'el-môlad'Tiy Tëlëkh' w'läqach'Tä iSHäh liv'niy l'yitz'chäq

וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו הָעֶבֶד אוּלַי לֹא־תֹאבֶה הָאִשָּׁה לָלֶכֶת אַחֲרַי אֶל־הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת הֶהָשֵׁב אָשִׁיב אֶת־בִּנְךָ אֶל־הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר־יָצָאתָ מִשָּׁם

וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו אַבְרָהָם הִשָּׁמֶר לְךָ פֶּן־תָּשִׁיב אֶת־בְּנִי שָׁמָּה

וְאִם־לֹא תֹאבֶה הָאִשָּׁה לָלֶכֶת אַחֲרֶיךָ וְנִקִּיתָ מִשְּׁבֻעָתִי זֹאת רַק אֶת־בְּנִי לֹא תָשֵׁב שָׁמָּה

וַיָּשֶׂם הָעֶבֶד אֶת־יָדוֹ תַּחַת יֶרֶךְ אַבְרָהָם אֲדֹנָיו וַיִּשָּׁבַע לוֹ עַל־הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה

וַיַּבְרֵךְ הַגְּמַלִּים מִחוּץ לָעִיר אֶל־בְּאֵר הַמָּיִם לְעֵת עֶרֶב לְעֵת צֵאת הַשֹּׁאֲבֹת

וַיֹּאמַר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אֲדֹנִי אַבְרָהָם הַקְרֵה־נָא לְפָנַי הַיּוֹם וַעֲשֵׂה־חֶסֶד עִם אֲדֹנִי אַבְרָהָם

 24:12 And he said, 559 z8799 O Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 of my ´áđôn אֲדוֹן 113 ´Avrähäm אַברָהָם, 85 I pray thee, x4994 send me y6440 good speed 7136 z8685 x6440 this day, 3117 and shew 6213 z8798 kindness 2617 unto 5973 my ´áđôn אֲדוֹן 113 ´Avrähäm אַברָהָם. 85

הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי נִצָּב עַל־עֵין הַמָּיִם וּבְנוֹת אַנְשֵׁי הָעִיר יֹצְאֹת לִשְׁאֹב מָיִם

 24:13 hiNëh änokhiy niTZäv al-ëyn haMäyim ûv'nôt an'shëy häiyr yotz'ot lish'ov mäyim

 24:13 Behold, x2009 I x595 stand 5324 z8737 [here] by x5921 the well 5869 of water; 4325 and the daughters 1323 of the men y582 x376 of the city 5892 come out 3318 z8802 to draw 7579 z8800 water: 4325

וְהָיָה הַנַּעֲרָ אֲשֶׁר אֹמַר אֵלֶיהָ הַטִּי־נָא כַדֵּךְ וְאֶשְׁתֶּה וְאָמְרָה שְׁתֵה וְגַם־גְּמַלֶּיךָ אַשְׁקֶה אֹתָהּ הֹכַחְתָּ לְעַבְדְּךָ לְיִצְחָק וּבָהּ אֵדַע כִּי־עָשִׂיתָ חֶסֶד עִם־אֲדֹנִי

 24:14 And let it come to pass, x1961 that the damsel 5291 to whom x834 I shall say, 559 z8799 x413 Let down 5186 z8685 thy pitcher, 3537 I pray thee, x4994 that I may drink; 8354 z8799 and she shall say, 559 z8804 Drink, 8354 z8798 and I will give y8248 z0 thy camels 1581 drink 8248 z8686 also: x1571 [let the same be] she [that] thou hast appointed 3198 z8689 for thy servant 5650 Yixçäk יִצחָק; 3327 and thereby shall I know 3045 z8799 that x3588 thou hast shewed 6213 z8804 kindness 2617 unto x5973 my ´áđôn אֲדוֹן. 113

וַיְהִי־הוּא טֶרֶם כִּלָּה לְדַבֵּר וְהִנֵּה רִבְקָה יֹצֵאת אֲשֶׁר יֻלְּדָה לִבְתוּאֵל בֶּן־מִלְכָּה אֵשֶׁת נָחוֹר אֲחִי אַבְרָהָם וְכַדָּהּ עַל־שִׁכְמָהּ

 24:15 ¶ And it came to pass, x1961 before x2962 he x1931 had done 3615 z8765 speaking, 1696 z8763 that, behold, x2009 Rivkà רִבקָה 7259 came out, 3318 z8802 who 834 was born 3205 z8795 to Bæŧû´ël בְּתוּאֵל, 1328 son 1121 of Milcà מִלכָּה, 4435 the wife 802 of Näçôr נָחוֹר, 5152 ´Avrähäm's אַברָהָם 85 brother, 251 with her pitcher 3537 upon x5921 her shoulder. 7926

וְהַנַּעֲרָ טֹבַת מַרְאֶה מְאֹד בְּתוּלָה וְאִישׁ לֹא יְדָעָהּ וַתֵּרֶד הָעַיְנָה וַתְּמַלֵּא כַדָּהּ וַתָּעַל

וַיָּרָץ הָעֶבֶד לִקְרָאתָהּ וַיֹּאמֶר הַגְמִיאִינִי נָא מְעַט־מַיִם מִכַּדֵּךְ

 24:17 And the servant 5650 ran 7323 z8799 to meet x7125 her, y7125 z8800 and said, 559 z8799 Let me, I pray thee, x4994 drink 1572 z8685 a little 4592 water 4325 of thy pitcher. 3537 x4480

וַתֹּאמֶר שְׁתֵה אֲדֹנִי וַתְּמַהֵר וַתֹּרֶד כַּדָּהּ עַל־יָדָהּ וַתַּשְׁקֵהוּ

 24:18 waTomer sh'tëh ádoniy waT'mahër waTored KaDäH al-yädäH waTash'qëhû

 24:18 And she said, 559 z8799 Drink, 8354 z8798 my ´áđôn אֲדוֹן: 113 and she hasted, 4116 z8762 and let down 3381 z8686 her pitcher 3537 upon x5921 her hand, 3027 and gave him drink. 8248 z8686

וַתְּכַל לְהַשְׁקֹתוֹ וַתֹּאמֶר גַּם לִגְמַלֶּיךָ אֶשְׁאָב עַד אִם־כִּלּוּ לִשְׁתֹּת

 24:19 waT'khal l'hash'qotô waTomer Gam lig'maLeykhä esh'äv ad im-KiLû lish'Tot

 24:19 And when she had done 3615 z8762 giving him drink, 8248 z8687 she said, 559 z8799 I will draw 7579 z8799 [water] for thy camels 1581 also, x1571 until x5704 x518 they have done 3615 z8765 drinking. 8354 z8800

וַתְּמַהֵר וַתְּעַר כַּדָּהּ אֶל־הַשֹּׁקֶת וַתָּרָץ עוֹד אֶל־הַבְּאֵר לִשְׁאֹב וַתִּשְׁאַב לְכָל־גְּמַלָּיו

 24:20 waT'mahër waT'ar KaDäH el-haSHoqet waTärätz ôd el-haB'ër lish'ov waTish'av l'khäl-G'maLäyw

 24:20 And she hasted, 4116 z8762 and emptied 6168 z8762 her pitcher 3537 into x413 the trough, 8268 and ran 7323 z8799 again x5750 unto x413 the well 875 to draw 7579 z8800 [water], and drew 7579 z8799 for all x3605 his camels. 1581

וְהָאִישׁ מִשְׁתָּאֵה לָהּ מַחֲרִישׁ לָדַעַת הַהִצְלִיחַ יְהוָה דַּרְכּוֹ אִם־לֹא

 24:21 w'häiysh mish'Täëh läH macháriysh lädaat hahitz'liyªch y'hwäh Dar'Kô im-lo

 24:21 And the man 376 wondering 7583 z8693 at her held his peace, 2790 z8688 to wit 3045 z8800 whether Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 had made y6743 z0 his journey 1870 prosperous 6743 z8689 or 518 not. x3808

וַיְהִי כַּאֲשֶׁר כִּלּוּ הַגְּמַלִּים לִשְׁתּוֹת וַיִּקַּח הָאִישׁ נֶזֶם זָהָב בֶּקַע מִשְׁקָלוֹ וּשְׁנֵי צְמִידִים עַל־יָדֶיהָ עֲשָׂרָה זָהָב מִשְׁקָלָם

 24:22 And it came to pass, x1961 as x834 the camels 1581 had done 3615 z8765 drinking, 8354 z8800 that the man 376 took 3947 z8799 a golden 2091 earring 5141 of half a shekel 1235 weight, 4948 and two 8147 bracelets 6781 for x5921 her hands 3027 of ten 6235 [shekels] weight 4948 of gold; 2091

וַיֹּאמֶר בַּת־מִי אַתְּ הַגִּידִי נָא לִי הֲיֵשׁ בֵּית־אָבִיךְ מָקוֹם לָנוּ לָלִין

 24:23 waYomer Bat-miy aT' haGiydiy nä liy háyësh Bëyt-äviykh' mäqôm länû läliyn

 24:23 And said, 559 z8799 Whose 4310 daughter 1323 [art] thou? 859 tell 5046 z8685 me, I pray thee: x4994 is there 3426 room 4725 [in] thy father's 1 house 1004 for us to lodge in? 3885 z8800

וַתֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו בַּת־בְּתוּאֵל אָנֹכִי בֶּן־מִלְכָּה אֲשֶׁר יָלְדָה לְנָחוֹר

 24:24 waTomer ëläyw Bat-B'tûël änokhiy Ben-mil'Käh ásher yäl'däh l'nächôr

 24:24 And she said 559 z8799 unto x413 him, I x595 [am] the daughter 1323 of Bæŧû´ël בְּתוּאֵל 1328 the son 1121 of Milcà מִלכָּה, 4435 which x834 she bare 3205 z8804 unto Näçôr נָחוֹר. 5152

וַתֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו גַּם־תֶּבֶן גַּם־מִסְפּוֹא רַב עִמָּנוּ גַּם־מָקוֹם לָלוּן

 24:25 waTomer ëläyw Gam-Teven Gam-miš'Pô rav iMänû Gam-mäqôm lälûn

 24:25 She said 559 z8799 moreover unto x413 him, We have both 1571 straw 8401 and x1571 provender 4554 enough, 7227 and 1571 room 4725 to lodge in. 3885 z8800

וַיִּקֹּד הָאִישׁ וַיִּשְׁתַּחוּ לַיהוָה

 24:26 waYiQod häiysh waYish'Tachû layhwäh

 24:26 And the man 376 bowed down his head, 6915 z8799 and worshipped 7812 z8691 Yähwè יָהוֶה. 3068

וַיֹּאמֶר בָּרוּךְ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אֲדֹנִי אַבְרָהָם אֲשֶׁר לֹא־עָזַב חַסְדּוֹ וַאֲמִתּוֹ מֵעִם אֲדֹנִי אָנֹכִי בַּדֶּרֶךְ נָחַנִי יְהוָה בֵּית אֲחֵי אֲדֹנִי

 24:27 And he said, 559 z8799 Blessed 1288 z8803 [be] Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 of my ´áđôn אֲדוֹן 113 ´Avrähäm אַברָהָם, 85 who x834 hath not x3808 left destitute 5800 5973 z8804 x4480 my ´áđôn אֲדוֹן 113 of his mercy 2617 and his truth: 571 I x595 [being] in the way, 1870 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 led x5148 me y5148 z8804 to the house 1004 of my ´áđôn's אֲדוֹן 113 brethren. 251

וַתָּרָץ הַנַּעֲרָ וַתַּגֵּד לְבֵית אִמָּהּ כַּדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה

וּלְרִבְקָה אָח וּשְׁמוֹ לָבָן וַיָּרָץ לָבָן אֶל־הָאִישׁ הַחוּצָה אֶל־הָעָיִן

 24:30 And it came to pass, x1961 when he saw 7200 z8800 x853 the earring 5141 and bracelets 6781 upon x5921 his sister's 269 hands, 3027 and when he heard 8085 z8800 x853 the words 1697 of Rivkà רִבקָה 7259 his sister, 269 saying, 559 z8800 Thus 3541 spake 1696 z8765 the man 376 unto x413 me; that he came 935 z8799 unto x413 the man; 376 and, behold, x2009 he stood 5975 z8802 by 5921 the camels 1581 at x5921 the well. 5869

וַיֵּצֵא יִצְחָק לָשׂוּחַ בַּשָּׂדֶה לִפְנוֹת עָרֶב וַיִּשָּׂא עֵינָיו וַיַּרְא וְהִנֵּה גְמַלִּים בָּאִים

 24:63 And Yixçäk יִצחָק 3327 went out 3318 z8799 to meditate 7742 z8800 in the field 7704 at y6437 z8800 the eventide: 6153 x6437 and he lifted up 5375 z8799 his eyes, 5869 and saw, 7200 z8799 and, behold, x2009 the camels 1581 [were] coming. 935 z8802

וַתִּשָּׂא רִבְקָה אֶת־עֵינֶיהָ וַתֵּרֶא אֶת־יִצְחָק וַתִּפֹּל מֵעַל הַגָּמָל

וַיְסַפֵּר הָעֶבֶד לְיִצְחָק אֵת כָּל־הַדְּבָרִים אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה
