וַתֹּאמֶר הִנֵּה אֲמָתִי בִלְהָה בֹּא אֵלֶיהָ וְתֵלֵד עַל־בִּרְכַּי וְאִבָּנֶה גַם־אָנֹכִי מִמֶּנָּה

וַתִּתֶּן־לוֹ אֶת־בִּלְהָה שִׁפְחָתָהּ לְאִשָּׁה וַיָּבֹא אֵלֶיהָ יַעֲקֹב

 30:4 waTiTen-lô et-Bil'häh shif'chätäH l'iSHäh waYävo ëleyhä yaáqov

וַתֹּאמֶר רָחֵל דָּנַנִּי אֱלֹהִים וְגַם שָׁמַע בְּקֹלִי וַיִּתֶּן־לִי בֵּן עַל־כֵּן קָרְאָה שְׁמוֹ דָּן

וַתֵּלֶד זִלְפָּה שִׁפְחַת לֵאָה לְיַעֲקֹב בֵּן

וַתֹּאמֶר לֵאָה *בְּגָד [בָּא גָד] וַתִּקְרָא אֶת־שְׁמוֹ גָּד

וַתֹּאמֶר לֵאָה בְּאָשְׁרִי כִּי אִשְּׁרוּנִי בָּנוֹת וַתִּקְרָא אֶת־שְׁמוֹ אָשֵׁר

וַיֵּלֶךְ רְאוּבֵן בִּימֵי קְצִיר־חִטִּים וַיִּמְצָא דוּדָאִים בַּשָּׂדֶה וַיָּבֵא אֹתָם אֶל־לֵאָה אִמּוֹ וַתֹּאמֶר רָחֵל אֶל־לֵאָה תְּנִי־נָא לִי מִדּוּדָאֵי בְּנֵךְ

 30:15 And she said 559 z8799 unto her, [Is it] a small matter 4592 that thou hast taken 3947 z8800 x853 my husband? 376 and wouldest thou take away 3947 z8800 x853 my son's 1121 mandrakes 1736 also? x1571 And Räçël רָחֵל 7354 said, 559 z8799 Therefore x3651 he shall lie 7901 z8799 with x5973 thee to night 3915 for 8478 thy son's 1121 mandrakes. 1736

וַיָּבֹא יַעֲקֹב מִן־הַשָּׂדֶה בָּעֶרֶב וַתֵּצֵא לֵאָה לִקְרָאתוֹ וַתֹּאמֶר אֵלַי תָּבוֹא כִּי שָׂכֹר שְׂכַרְתִּיךָ בְּדוּדָאֵי בְּנִי וַיִּשְׁכַּב עִמָּהּ בַּלַּיְלָה הוּא

 30:16 waYävo yaáqov min-haSädeh Bäerev waTëtzë lëäh liq'rätô waTomer ëlay Tävô Kiy säkhor s'khar'Tiykhä B'dûdäëy B'niy waYish'Kav iMäH BaLay'läh hû

 30:16 And Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב 3290 came 935 z8799 out of x4480 the field 7704 in the evening, 6153 and Lë´à לֵאָה 3812 went out 3318 z8799 to meet 7125 z8800 him, and said, 559 z8799 Thou must come in 935 z8799 unto x413 me; for x3588 surely y7936 z8800 I have hired 7936 z8804 thee with my son's 1121 mandrakes. 1736 And he lay 7901 z8799 with x5973 her that x1931 night. 3915

וַיִּשְׁמַע אֱלֹהִים אֶל־לֵאָה וַתַּהַר וַתֵּלֶד לְיַעֲקֹב בֵּן חֲמִישִׁי

וַתֹּאמֶר לֵאָה נָתַן אֱלֹהִים שְׂכָרִי אֲשֶׁר־נָתַתִּי שִׁפְחָתִי לְאִישִׁי וַתִּקְרָא שְׁמוֹ יִשָּׂשכָר

 30:18 And Lë´à לֵאָה 3812 said, 559 z8799 ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 hath given 5414 z8804 me my hire, 7939 because 834 I have given 5414 z8804 my maiden 8198 to my husband: 376 and she called 7121 z8799 his name 8034 Yiŝŝäjȼär יִשָּׂשכָר. 3485

וַתַּהַר עוֹד לֵאָה וַתֵּלֶד בֵּן־שִׁשִּׁי לְּיַעֲקֹב

וַתֹּאמֶר לֵאָה זְבָדַנִי אֱלֹהִים אֹתִי זֵבֶד טוֹב הַפַּעַם יִזְבְּלֵנִי אִישִׁי כִּי־יָלַדְתִּי לוֹ שִׁשָּׁה בָנִים וַתִּקְרָא אֶת־שְׁמוֹ זְבֻלוּן

 30:20 And Lë´à לֵאָה 3812 said, 559 z8799 ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 hath endued 2064 z8804 me [with] a good 2896 dowry; 2065 now 6471 will my husband 376 dwell y2082 z8799 with x2082 me, because x3588 I have born 3205 z8804 him six 8337 sons: 1121 and she called 7121 z8799 x853 his name 8034 Zævûlûn זְבוּלוּן. 2074

וְאַחַר יָלְדָה בַּת וַתִּקְרָא אֶת־שְׁמָהּ דִּינָה

 30:21 And afterwards 310 she bare 3205 z8804 a daughter, 1323 and called 7121 z8799 x853 her name 8034 Dînà דִּינָה. 1783

וַיִּזְכֹּר אֱלֹהִים אֶת־רָחֵל וַיִּשְׁמַע אֵלֶיהָ אֱלֹהִים וַיִּפְתַּח אֶת־רַחְמָהּ

וַתִּקְרָא אֶת־שְׁמוֹ יוֹסֵף לֵאמֹר יֹסֵף יְהוָה לִי בֵּן אַחֵר

 30:24 waTiq'rä et-sh'mô yôšëf lëmor yošëf y'hwäh liy Bën achër

 30:24 And she called 7121 z8799 x853 his name 8034 Yôsëf יוֹסֵף; 3130 and said, 559 z8800 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 shall add 3254 z8686 to me another 312 son. 1121

וַיְהִי כַּאֲשֶׁר יָלְדָה רָחֵל אֶת־יוֹסֵף וַיֹּאמֶר יַעֲקֹב אֶל־לָבָן שַׁלְּחֵנִי וְאֵלְכָה אֶל־מְקוֹמִי וּלְאַרְצִי

תְּנָה אֶת־נָשַׁי וְאֶת־יְלָדַי אֲשֶׁר עָבַדְתִּי אֹתְךָ בָּהֵן וְאֵלֵכָה כִּי אַתָּה יָדַעְתָּ אֶת־עֲבֹדָתִי אֲשֶׁר עֲבַדְתִּיךָ

 30:26 Give 5414 z8798 [me] x853 my wives 802 and my children, 3206 for y2004 whom x834 x2004 I have served 5647 z8804 thee, and let me go: y3212 z8799 x1980 for x3588 thou x859 knowest 3045 z8804 x853 my service 5656 which x834 I have done 5647 z8804 thee.

וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו לָבָן אִם־נָא מָצָאתִי חֵן בְּעֵינֶיךָ נִחַשְׁתִּי וַיְבָרֲכֵנִי יְהוָה בִּגְלָלֶךָ

 30:27 waYomer ëläyw lävän im-nä mätzätiy chën B'ëyneykhä nichash'Tiy way'värákhëniy y'hwäh Big'lälekhä

 30:27 And Lävän לָבָן 3837 said 559 z8799 unto x413 him, I pray thee, x4994 if x518 I have found 4672 z8804 favour 2580 in thine eyes, 5869 [tarry: for] I have learned by experience 5172 z8765 that Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 hath blessed 1288 z8762 me for thy sake. 1558

וַיֹּאמַר נָקְבָה שְׂכָרְךָ עָלַי וְאֶתֵּנָה

 30:28 And he said, 559 z8799 Appoint 5344 z8798 x5921 me thy wages, 7939 and I will give 5414 z8799 [it].

וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו אַתָּה יָדַעְתָּ אֵת אֲשֶׁר עֲבַדְתִּיךָ וְאֵת אֲשֶׁר־הָיָה מִקְנְךָ אִתִּי

 30:29 waYomer ëläyw aTäh yäda'Tä ët ásher ávad'Tiykhä w'ët ásher-häyäh miq'n'khä iTiy

 30:29 And he said 559 z8799 unto x413 him, Thou x859 knowest 3045 z8804 x853 how 834 I have served 5647 z8804 thee, and how 834 thy cattle 4735 was x1961 with x854 me.

כִּי מְעַט אֲשֶׁר־הָיָה לְךָ לְפָנַי וַיִּפְרֹץ לָרֹב וַיְבָרֶךְ יְהוָה אֹתְךָ לְרַגְלִי וְעַתָּה מָתַי אֶעֱשֶׂה גַם־אָנֹכִי לְבֵיתִי

 30:30 Kiy m'aţ ásher-häyäh l'khä l'fänay waYif'rotz lärov way'värekh' y'hwäh ot'khä l'rag'liy w'aTäh mätay eéseh gam-änokhiy l'vëytiy

וַיֹּאמֶר מָה אֶתֶּן־לָךְ וַיֹּאמֶר יַעֲקֹב לֹא־תִתֶּן־לִי מְאוּמָה אִם־תַּעֲשֶׂה־לִּי הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה אָשׁוּבָה אֶרְעֶה צֹאנְךָ אֶשְׁמֹר

 30:31 And he said, 559 z8799 What x4100 shall I give x5414 thee? y5414 z8799 And Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב 3290 said, 559 z8799 Thou shalt not x3808 give 5414 z8799 me any thing: 3972 if x518 thou wilt do 6213 z8799 this x2088 thing 1697 for me, I will again 7725 z8799 feed 7462 z8799 [and] keep 8104 z8799 thy flock: 6629

אֶעֱבֹר בְּכָל־צֹאנְךָ הַיּוֹם הָסֵר מִשָּׁם כָּל־שֶׂה נָקֹד וְטָלוּא וְכָל־שֶׂה־חוּם בַּכְּשָׂבִים וְטָלוּא וְנָקֹד בָּעִזִּים וְהָיָה שְׂכָרִי

 30:32 eévor B'khäl-tzon'khä haYôm häšër miSHäm Käl-seh näqod w'ţälû w'khäl-seh-chûm BaK'säviym w'ţälû w'näqod BäiZiym w'häyäh s'khäriy

 30:32 I will pass y5674 z8799 through x5674 all x3605 thy flock 6629 to day, 3117 removing 5493 z8687 from thence x4480 x8033 all x3605 the speckled 5348 and spotted 2921 z8803 cattle, 7716 and all x3605 the brown 2345 cattle 7716 among the sheep, 3775 and the spotted 2921 z8803 and speckled 5348 among the goats: 5795 and [of such] shall be x1961 my hire. 7939

וְעָנְתָה־בִּי צִדְקָתִי בְּיוֹם מָחָר כִּי־תָבוֹא עַל־שְׂכָרִי לְפָנֶיךָ כֹּל אֲשֶׁר־אֵינֶנּוּ נָקֹד וְטָלוּא בָּעִזִּים וְחוּם בַּכְּשָׂבִים גָּנוּב הוּא אִתִּי

 30:33 So shall my righteousness 6666 answer 6030 z8804 for me in time 3117 to come, 4279 when x3588 it shall come 935 z8799 for x5921 my hire 7939 before thy face: 6440 every one 3605 that x834 [is] not x369 speckled 5348 and spotted 2921 z8803 among the goats, 5795 and brown 2345 among the sheep, 3775 that x1931 shall be counted stolen 1589 z8803 with x854 me.

וַיֹּאמֶר לָבָן הֵן לוּ יְהִי כִדְבָרֶךָ

 30:34 And Lävän לָבָן 3837 said, 559 z8799 Behold, x2005 I would x3863 it might be y3863 x1961 according to thy word. 1697

וַיָּסַר בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא אֶת־הַתְּיָשִׁים הָעֲקֻדִּים וְהַטְּלֻאִים וְאֵת כָּל־הָעִזִּים הַנְּקֻדּוֹת וְהַטְּלֻאֹת כֹּל אֲשֶׁר־לָבָן בּוֹ וְכָל־חוּם בַּכְּשָׂבִים וַיִּתֵּן בְּיַד־בָּנָיו

 30:37 ¶ And Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב 3290 took 3947 z8799 him rods 4731 of green 3892 poplar, 3839 and of the hazel 3869 and chesnut tree; 6196 and pilled 6478 z8762 white 3836 strakes 6479 in them, x2004 and made the white 3836 appear 4286 which x834 [was] in x5921 the rods. 4731

וַיַּצֵּג אֶת־הַמַּקְלוֹת אֲשֶׁר פִּצֵּל בָּרֳהָטִים בְּשִׁקֲתוֹת הַמָּיִם אֲשֶׁר תָּבֹאןָ הַצֹּאן לִשְׁתּוֹת לְנֹכַח הַצֹּאן וַיֵּחַמְנָה בְּבֹאָן לִשְׁתּוֹת

וְהַכְּשָׂבִים הִפְרִיד יַעֲקֹב וַיִּתֵּן פְּנֵי הַצֹּאן אֶל־עָקֹד וְכָל־חוּם בְּצֹאן לָבָן וַיָּשֶׁת־לוֹ עֲדָרִים לְבַדּוֹ וְלֹא שָׁתָם עַל־צֹאן לָבָן

 30:40 w'haK'säviym hif'riyd yaáqov waYiTën P'nëy haTZon el-äqod w'khäl-chûm B'tzon lävän waYäshet-lô ádäriym l'vaDô w'lo shätäm al-tzon lävän

 30:40 And Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב 3290 did separate 6504 z8689 the lambs, 3775 and set 5414 z8799 the faces 6440 of the flocks 6629 toward 413 the ringstraked, 6124 and all x3605 the brown 2345 in the flock 6629 of Lävän לָבָן; 3837 and he put 7896 z8799 his own flocks 5739 by themselves, x905 and put 7896 z8804 them not x3808 unto x5921 Lävän's לָבָן 3837 cattle. 6629

וְהָיָה בְּכָל־יַחֵם הַצֹּאן הַמְקֻשָּׁרוֹת וְשָׂם יַעֲקֹב אֶת־הַמַּקְלוֹת לְעֵינֵי הַצֹּאן בָּרֳהָטִים לְיַחְמֵנָּה בַּמַּקְלוֹת

 30:41 w'häyäh B'khäl-yachëm haTZon ham'quSHärôt w'säm yaáqov et-haMaq'lôt l'ëynëy haTZon Bäróhäţiym l'yach'mëNäh BaMaq'lôt

 30:41 And it came to pass, x1961 whensoever x3605 the stronger 7194 z8794 cattle 6629 did conceive, 3179 z8763 that Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב 3290 laid 7760 z8804 x853 the rods 4731 before the eyes 5869 of the cattle 6629 in the gutters, 7298 that they might conceive 3179 z8763 among the rods. 4731

וּבְהַעֲטִיף הַצֹּאן לֹא יָשִׂים וְהָיָה הָעֲטֻפִים לְלָבָן וְהַקְּשֻׁרִים לְיַעֲקֹב

 30:42 ûv'haáţiyf haTZon lo yäsiym w'häyäh häáţufiym l'lävän w'haQ'shuriym l'yaáqov

 30:42 But when the cattle 6629 were feeble, 5848 z8687 he put x7760 [them] not x3808 in: y7760 z8799 so the feebler 5848 z8803 were x1961 Lävän's לָבָן, 3837 and the stronger 7194 z8803 Ya`áköv's יַעֲקֹב. 3290

וַיִּפְרֹץ הָאִישׁ מְאֹד מְאֹד וַיְהִי־לוֹ צֹאן רַבּוֹת וּשְׁפָחוֹת וַעֲבָדִים וּגְמַלִּים וַחֲמֹרִים
