 47:1 waYävo yôšëf waYaGëd l'far'oh waYomer äviy w'achay w'tzonäm ûv'qäräm w'khäl-ásher lähem Bäû mëeretz K'näan w'hiNäm B'eretz Goshen

 47:1 ¶ Then Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 came 935 z8799 and told 5046 z8686 Par`ò פַּרעֹה, 6547 and said, 559 z8799 My father 1 and my brethren, 251 and their flocks, 6629 and their herds, 1241 and all x3605 that x834 they have, are come x935 out y935 z8804 of the land 776 x4480 of Cænä`an כְּנָעַן; 3667 and, behold, x2009 they [are] in the land 776 of Göšen גֹּשֶׁן. 1657

וּמִקְצֵה אֶחָיו לָקַח חֲמִשָּׁה אֲנָשִׁים וַיַּצִּגֵם לִפְנֵי פַרְעֹה

 47:2 ûmiq'tzëh echäyw läqach chámiSHäh ánäshiym waYaTZigëm lif'nëy far'oh

וַיֹּאמֶר פַּרְעֹה אֶל־אֶחָיו מַה־מַּעֲשֵׂיכֶם וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֶל־פַּרְעֹה רֹעֵה צֹאן עֲבָדֶיךָ גַּם־אֲנַחְנוּ גַּם־אֲבוֹתֵינוּ

 47:3 And Par`ò פַּרעֹה 6547 said 559 z8799 unto x413 his brethren, 251 What x4100 [is] your occupation? 4639 And they said 559 z8799 unto x413 Par`ò פַּרעֹה, 6547 Thy servants 5650 [are] shepherds, 7462 6629 z8802 both x1571 we, x587 [and] also x1571 our fathers. 1

וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֶל־פַּרְעֹה לָגוּר בָּאָרֶץ בָּאנוּ כִּי־אֵין מִרְעֶה לַצֹּאן אֲשֶׁר לַעֲבָדֶיךָ כִּי־כָבֵד הָרָעָב בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן וְעַתָּה יֵשְׁבוּ־נָא עֲבָדֶיךָ בְּאֶרֶץ גֹּשֶׁן

וַיֹּאמֶר פַּרְעֹה אֶל־יוֹסֵף לֵאמֹר אָבִיךָ וְאַחֶיךָ בָּאוּ אֵלֶיךָ

 47:5 And Par`ò פַּרעֹה 6547 spake 559 z8799 unto x413 Yôsëf יוֹסֵף, 3130 saying, 559 z8800 Thy father 1 and thy brethren 251 are come 935 z8804 unto x413 thee:

אֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם לְפָנֶיךָ הִוא בְּמֵיטַב הָאָרֶץ הוֹשֵׁב אֶת־אָבִיךָ וְאֶת־אַחֶיךָ יֵשְׁבוּ בְּאֶרֶץ גֹּשֶׁן וְאִם־יָדַעְתָּ וְיֶשׁ־בָּם אַנְשֵׁי־חַיִל וְשַׂמְתָּם שָׂרֵי מִקְנֶה עַל־אֲשֶׁר־לִי

 47:6 eretz mitz'rayim l'fäneykhä hiw B'mëyţav hääretz hôshëv et-äviykhä w'et-acheykhä yësh'vû B'eretz Goshen w'im-yäda'Tä w'yesh-Bäm an'shëy-chayil w'sam'Täm särëy miq'neh al-ásher-liy

 47:6 The land 776 of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם 4714 [is] before x6440 thee; y6440 in the best 4315 of the land 776 make y3427 z0 x853 thy father 1 and brethren 251 to dwell; 3427 z8685 in the land 776 of Göšen גֹּשֶׁן 1657 let them dwell: 3427 z8799 and if x518 thou knowest 3045 z8804 y3426 [any] men y582 x376 of activity 2428 among them, then make x7760 them y7760 z8804 rulers 8269 over my x5921 x834 cattle. 4735

וַיָּבֵא יוֹסֵף אֶת־יַעֲקֹב אָבִיו וַיַּעֲמִדֵהוּ לִפְנֵי פַרְעֹה וַיְבָרֶךְ יַעֲקֹב אֶת־פַּרְעֹה

וַיֹּאמֶר פַּרְעֹה אֶל־יַעֲקֹב כַּמָּה יְמֵי שְׁנֵי חַיֶּיךָ

 47:8 And Par`ò פַּרעֹה 6547 said 559 z8799 unto x413 Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב, 3290 How 4100 old 2416 3117 8141 [art] thou?

וַיֹּאמֶר יַעֲקֹב אֶל־פַּרְעֹה יְמֵי שְׁנֵי מְגוּרַי שְׁלֹשִׁים וּמְאַת שָׁנָה מְעַט וְרָעִים הָיוּ יְמֵי שְׁנֵי חַיַּי וְלֹא הִשִּׂיגוּ אֶת־יְמֵי שְׁנֵי חַיֵּי אֲבֹתַי בִּימֵי מְגוּרֵיהֶם

 47:9 waYomer yaáqov el-Par'oh y'mëy sh'nëy m'gûray sh'loshiym ûm'at shänäh m'aţ w'räiym häyû y'mëy sh'nëy chaYay w'lo hiSiygû et-y'mëy sh'nëy chaYëy ávotay Biymëy m'gûrëyhem

 47:9 And Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב 3290 said 559 z8799 unto x413 Par`ò פַּרעֹה, 6547 The days 3117 of the years 8141 of my pilgrimage 4033 [are] an hundred 3967 and thirty 7970 years: 8141 few 4592 and evil 7451 have the days 3117 of the years 8141 of my life 2416 been, x1961 and have not x3808 attained y5381 z8689 unto x5381 x853 the days 3117 of the years 8141 of the life 2416 of my fathers 1 in the days 3117 of their pilgrimage. 4033

וַיְבָרֶךְ יַעֲקֹב אֶת־פַּרְעֹה וַיֵּצֵא מִלִּפְנֵי פַרְעֹה

וַיּוֹשֵׁב יוֹסֵף אֶת־אָבִיו וְאֶת־אֶחָיו וַיִּתֵּן לָהֶם אֲחֻזָּה בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם בְּמֵיטַב הָאָרֶץ בְּאֶרֶץ רַעְמְסֵס כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה פַרְעֹה

 47:11 ¶ And Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 placed 3427 z8686 x853 his father 1 and his brethren, 251 and gave 5414 z8799 them a possession 272 in the land 776 of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם, 4714 in the best 4315 of the land, 776 in the land 776 of Ra`mæsës רַעמְסֵס, 7486 as x834 Par`ò פַּרעֹה 6547 had commanded. 6680 z8765

וַיְכַלְכֵּל יוֹסֵף אֶת־אָבִיו וְאֶת־אֶחָיו וְאֵת כָּל־בֵּית אָבִיו לֶחֶם לְפִי הַטָּף

וְלֶחֶם אֵין בְּכָל־הָאָרֶץ כִּי־כָבֵד הָרָעָב מְאֹד וַתֵּלַהּ אֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם וְאֶרֶץ כְּנַעַן מִפְּנֵי הָרָעָב

 47:13 ¶ And [there was] no x369 bread 3899 in all x3605 the land; 776 for x3588 the famine 7458 [was] very 3966 sore, 3515 so that the land 776 of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם 4714 and [all] the land 776 of Cænä`an כְּנָעַן 3667 fainted 3856 z8799 by reason y6440 of x4480 x6440 the famine. 7458

וַיְלַקֵּט יוֹסֵף אֶת־כָּל־הַכֶּסֶף הַנִּמְצָא בְאֶרֶץ־מִצְרַיִם וּבְאֶרֶץ כְּנַעַן בַּשֶּׁבֶר אֲשֶׁר־הֵם שֹׁבְרִים וַיָּבֵא יוֹסֵף אֶת־הַכֶּסֶף בֵּיתָה פַרְעֹה

 47:14 And Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 gathered up 3950 z8762 x853 all x3605 the money 3701 that was found 4672 z8737 in the land 776 of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם, 4714 and in the land 776 of Cænä`an כְּנָעַן, 3667 for the corn 7668 which x834 they x1992 bought: 7666 z8802 and Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 brought 935 z8686 x853 the money 3701 into Par`ò's פַּרעֹה 6547 house. 1004

וַיִּתֹּם הַכֶּסֶף מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם וּמֵאֶרֶץ כְּנַעַן וַיָּבֹאוּ כָל־מִצְרַיִם אֶל־יוֹסֵף לֵאמֹר הָבָה־לָּנוּ לֶחֶם וְלָמָּה נָמוּת נֶגְדֶּךָ כִּי אָפֵס כָּסֶף

 47:15 waYiTom haKešef mëeretz mitz'rayim ûmëeretz K'naan waYävoû khäl-mitz'rayim el-yôšëf lëmor häväh-Länû lechem w'läMäh nämût neg'Dekhä Kiy äfëš Käšef

 47:15 And when money 3701 failed 8552 z8799 in the land 776 x4480 of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם, 4714 and in the land 776 x4480 of Cænä`an כְּנָעַן, 3667 all x3605 the Mixrîm מִצרִים 4714 came 935 z8799 unto x413 Yôsëf יוֹסֵף, 3130 and said, 559 z8800 Give 3051 z8798 us bread: 3899 for why x4100 should we die 4191 z8799 in thy presence? x5048 for x3588 the money 3701 faileth. 656 z8804

וַיֹּאמֶר יוֹסֵף הָבוּ מִקְנֵיכֶם וְאֶתְּנָה לָכֶם בְּמִקְנֵיכֶם אִם־אָפֵס כָּסֶף

 47:16 waYomer yôšëf hävû miq'nëykhem w'eT'näh läkhem B'miq'nëykhem im-äfëš Käšef

 47:16 And Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 said, 559 z8799 Give 3051 z8798 your cattle; 4735 and I will give 5414 z8799 you for your cattle, 4735 if x518 money 3701 fail. 656 z8804

וַיָּבִיאוּ אֶת־מִקְנֵיהֶם אֶל־יוֹסֵף וַיִּתֵּן לָהֶם יוֹסֵף לֶחֶם בַּסּוּסִים וּבְמִקְנֵה הַצֹּאן וּבְמִקְנֵה הַבָּקָר וּבַחֲמֹרִים וַיְנַהֲלֵם בַּלֶּחֶם בְּכָל־מִקְנֵהֶם בַּשָּׁנָה הַהִוא

 47:17 waYäviyû et-miq'nëyhem el-yôšëf waYiTën lähem yôšëf lechem BaŠûšiym ûv'miq'nëh haTZon ûv'miq'nëh haBäqär ûvachámoriym way'nahálëm BaLechem B'khäl-miq'nëhem BaSHänäh hahiw

 47:17 And they brought 935 z8686 x853 their cattle 4735 unto x413 Yôsëf יוֹסֵף: 3130 and Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 gave 5414 z8799 them bread 3899 [in exchange] for horses, 5483 and for the flocks, 6629 x4735 and for the cattle 4735 of the herds, 1241 and for the asses: 2543 and he fed 5095 z8762 them with bread 3899 for all x3605 their cattle 4735 for that x1931 year. 8141

וַתִּתֹּם הַשָּׁנָה הַהִוא וַיָּבֹאוּ אֵלָיו בַּשָּׁנָה הַשֵּׁנִית וַיֹּאמְרוּ לוֹ לֹא־נְכַחֵד מֵאֲדֹנִי כִּי אִם־תַּם הַכֶּסֶף וּמִקְנֵה הַבְּהֵמָה אֶל־אֲדֹנִי לֹא נִשְׁאַר לִפְנֵי אֲדֹנִי בִּלְתִּי אִם־גְּוִיָּתֵנוּ וְאַדְמָתֵנוּ

 47:18 When that x1931 year 8141 was ended, 8552 z8799 they came 935 z8799 unto x413 him the second 8145 year, 8141 and said 559 z8799 unto him, We will not x3808 hide 3582 z8762 [it] from x4480 my ´áđôn אֲדוֹן, 113 how that x3588 x518 our money 3701 is spent; 8552 z8804 my ´áđôn אֲדוֹן 113 also hath 413 our herds 4735 of cattle; 929 there is not x3808 ought left 7604 z8738 in the sight 6440 of my ´áđôn אֲדוֹן, 113 but x1115 x518 our bodies, 1472 and our lands: 127

לָמָּה נָמוּת לְעֵינֶיךָ גַּם־אֲנַחְנוּ גַּם אַדְמָתֵנוּ קְנֵה־אֹתָנוּ וְאֶת־אַדְמָתֵנוּ בַּלָּחֶם וְנִהְיֶה אֲנַחְנוּ וְאַדְמָתֵנוּ עֲבָדִים לְפַרְעֹה וְתֶן־זֶרַע וְנִחְיֶה וְלֹא נָמוּת וְהָאֲדָמָה לֹא תֵשָׁם

 47:19 Wherefore x4100 shall we die 4191 z8799 before thine eyes, 5869 both x1571 we x587 and x1571 our land? 127 buy 7069 z8798 us and our land 127 for bread, 3899 and we x587 and our land 127 will be x1961 servants 5650 unto Par`ò פַּרעֹה: 6547 and give 5414 z8798 [us] seed, 2233 that we may live, 2421 z8799 and not x3808 die, 4191 z8799 that the land 127 be not desolate. 3456 z8799 x3808

וַיִּקֶן יוֹסֵף אֶת־כָּל־אַדְמַת מִצְרַיִם לְפַרְעֹה כִּי־מָכְרוּ מִצְרַיִם אִישׁ שָׂדֵהוּ כִּי־חָזַק עֲלֵהֶם הָרָעָב וַתְּהִי הָאָרֶץ לְפַרְעֹה

 47:20 waYiqen yôšëf et-Käl-ad'mat mitz'rayim l'far'oh Kiy-mäkh'rû mitz'rayim iysh sädëhû Kiy-chäzaq álëhem härääv waT'hiy hääretz l'far'oh

 47:20 And Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 bought 7069 z8799 x853 all x3605 the land 127 of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם 4714 for Par`ò פַּרעֹה; 6547 for x3588 the Mixrîm מִצרִים 4714 sold 4376 z8804 every man 376 his field, 7704 because x3588 the famine 7458 prevailed 2388 z8804 over x5921 them: so the land 776 became x1961 Par`ò's פַּרעֹה. 6547

וְאֶת־הָעָם הֶעֱבִיר אֹתוֹ לֶעָרִים מִקְצֵה גְבוּל־מִצְרַיִם וְעַד־קָצֵהוּ

 47:21 w'et-hääm heéviyr otô leäriym miq'tzëh g'vûl-mitz'rayim w'ad-qätzëhû

 47:21 And as for the people, 5971 he removed 5674 z8689 them to cities 5892 from [one] end 7097 x4480 of the borders 1366 of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם 4714 even to x5704 the [other] end 7097 thereof.

רַק אַדְמַת הַכֹּהֲנִים לֹא קָנָה כִּי חֹק לַכֹּהֲנִים מֵאֵת פַּרְעֹה וְאָכְלוּ אֶת־חֻקָּם אֲשֶׁר נָתַן לָהֶם פַּרְעֹה עַל־כֵּן לֹא מָכְרוּ אֶת־אַדְמָתָם

וַיֹּאמֶר יוֹסֵף אֶל־הָעָם הֵן קָנִיתִי אֶתְכֶם הַיּוֹם וְאֶת־אַדְמַתְכֶם לְפַרְעֹה הֵא־לָכֶם זֶרַע וּזְרַעְתֶּם אֶת־הָאֲדָמָה

 47:23 waYomer yôšëf el-hääm hën qäniytiy et'khem haYôm w'et-ad'mat'khem l'far'oh hë-läkhem zera ûz'ra'Tem et-häádämäh

 47:23 Then Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 said 559 z8799 unto x413 the people, 5971 Behold, x2005 I have bought 7069 z8804 y853 you this day 3117 and your land 127 for Par`ò פַּרעֹה: 6547 lo, 1887 [here is] seed 2233 for you, and ye shall sow 2232 z8804 x853 the land. 127

וְהָיָה בַּתְּבוּאֹת וּנְתַתֶּם חֲמִישִׁית לְפַרְעֹה וְאַרְבַּע הַיָּדֹת יִהְיֶה לָכֶם לְזֶרַע הַשָּׂדֶה וּלְאָכְלְכֶם וְלַאֲשֶׁר בְּבָתֵּיכֶם וְלֶאֱכֹל לְטַפְּכֶם

 47:24 w'häyäh BaT'vûot ûn'taTem chámiyshiyt l'far'oh w'ar'Ba haYädot yih'yeh läkhem l'zera haSädeh ûl'äkh'l'khem w'laásher B'väTëykhem w'leékhol l'ţaP'khem

 47:24 And it shall come to pass x1961 in the increase, 8393 that ye shall give 5414 z8804 the fifth 2549 [part] unto Par`ò פַּרעֹה, 6547 and four 702 parts 3027 shall be x1961 your own, for seed 2233 of the field, 7704 and for your food, 400 and for them x834 of your households, 1004 and for food 398 z8800 for your little ones. 2945

וַיֹּאמְרוּ הֶחֱיִתָנוּ נִמְצָא־חֵן בְּעֵינֵי אֲדֹנִי וְהָיִינוּ עֲבָדִים לְפַרְעֹה

 47:25 waYom'rû hechéyitänû nim'tzä-chën B'ëynëy ádoniy w'häyiynû ávädiym l'far'oh

 47:25 And they said, 559 z8799 Thou hast saved our lives: 2421 z8689 let us find 4672 z8799 grace 2580 in the sight 5869 of my ´áđôn אֲדוֹן, 113 and we will be x1961 Par`ò's פַּרעֹה 6547 servants. 5650

וַיָּשֶׂם אֹתָהּ יוֹסֵף לְחֹק עַד־הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה עַל־אַדְמַת מִצְרַיִם לְפַרְעֹה לַחֹמֶשׁ רַק אַדְמַת הַכֹּהֲנִים לְבַדָּם לֹא הָיְתָה לְפַרְעֹה

 47:26 waYäsem otäH yôšëf l'choq ad-haYôm haZeh al-ad'mat mitz'rayim l'far'oh lachomesh raq ad'mat haKohániym l'vaDäm lo häy'täh l'far'oh

 47:26 And Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 made 7760 z8799 it a law 2706 over x5921 the land 127 of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם 4714 unto x5704 this x2088 day, 3117 [that] Par`ò פַּרעֹה 6547 should have the fifth 2569 [part]; except 7535 the land 127 of the priests 3548 only, x905 [which] became x1961 not x3808 Par`ò's פַּרעֹה. 6547

וַיֵּשֶׁב יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם בְּאֶרֶץ גֹּשֶׁן וַיֵּאָחֲזוּ בָהּ וַיִּפְרוּ וַיִּרְבּוּ מְאֹד

 47:27 waYëshev yis'räël B'eretz mitz'rayim B'eretz Goshen waYëächázû väH waYif'rû waYir'Bû m'od

 47:27 ¶ And Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 dwelt 3427 z8799 in the land 776 of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם, 4714 in the country 776 of Göšen גֹּשֶׁן; 1657 and they had possessions 270 z8735 therein, and grew, 6509 z8799 and multiplied 7235 z8799 exceedingly. 3966

וַיְחִי יַעֲקֹב בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם שְׁבַע עֶשְׂרֵה שָׁנָה וַיְהִי יְמֵי־יַעֲקֹב שְׁנֵי חַיָּיו שֶׁבַע שָׁנִים וְאַרְבָּעִים וּמְאַת שָׁנָה

 47:28 way'chiy yaáqov B'eretz mitz'rayim sh'va es'rëh shänäh way'hiy y'mëy-yaáqov sh'nëy chaYäyw sheva shäniym w'ar'Bäiym ûm'at shänäh

 47:28 And Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב 3290 lived 2421 z8799 in the land 776 of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם 4714 seventeen 6240 7651 years: 8141 so the whole age 2416 3117 x8141 of Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב 3290 was x1961 an hundred 3967 forty 705 y8141 and seven 7651 years. 8141

וַיִּקְרְבוּ יְמֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל לָמוּת וַיִּקְרָא לִבְנוֹ לְיוֹסֵף וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ אִם־נָא מָצָאתִי חֵן בְּעֵינֶיךָ שִׂים־נָא יָדְךָ תַּחַת יְרֵכִי וְעָשִׂיתָ עִמָּדִי חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת אַל־נָא תִקְבְּרֵנִי בְּמִצְרָיִם

 47:29 waYiq'r'vû y'mëy-yis'räël lämût waYiq'rä liv'nô l'yôšëf waYomer lô im-nä mätzätiy chën B'ëyneykhä siym-nä yäd'khä Tachat y'rëkhiy w'äsiytä iMädiy chešed weémet al-nä tiq'B'rëniy B'mitz'räyim

 47:30 w'shäkhav'Tiy im-ávotay ûn'sätaniy miMitz'rayim ûq'var'Taniy Biq'vurätäm waYomar änokhiy eéseh khid'värekhä
