וַיֹּאמֶר הִנֵּה־נָא זָקַנְתִּי לֹא יָדַעְתִּי יוֹם מוֹתִי

וְעַתָּה שָׂא־נָא כֵלֶיךָ תֶּלְיְךָ וְקַשְׁתֶּךָ וְצֵא הַשָּׂדֶה וְצוּדָה לִּי *צֵידָה [צָיִד]

וַעֲשֵׂה־לִי מַטְעַמִּים כַּאֲשֶׁר אָהַבְתִּי וְהָבִיאָה לִּי וְאֹכֵלָה בַּעֲבוּר תְּבָרֶכְךָ נַפְשִׁי בְּטֶרֶם אָמוּת

וְרִבְקָה שֹׁמַעַת בְּדַבֵּר יִצְחָק אֶל־עֵשָׂו בְּנוֹ וַיֵּלֶךְ עֵשָׂו הַשָּׂדֶה לָצוּד צַיִד לְהָבִיא

הָבִיאָה לִּי צַיִד וַעֲשֵׂה־לִי מַטְעַמִּים וְאֹכֵלָה וַאֲבָרֶכְכָה לִפְנֵי יְהוָה לִפְנֵי מוֹתִי

וְעַתָּה בְנִי שְׁמַע בְּקֹלִי לַאֲשֶׁר אֲנִי מְצַוָּה אֹתָךְ

לֶךְ־נָא אֶל־הַצֹּאן וְקַח־לִי מִשָּׁם שְׁנֵי גְּדָיֵי עִזִּים טֹבִים וְאֶעֱשֶׂה אֹתָם מַטְעַמִּים לְאָבִיךָ כַּאֲשֶׁר אָהֵב

וְהֵבֵאתָ לְאָבִיךָ וְאָכָל בַּעֲבֻר אֲשֶׁר יְבָרֶכְךָ לִפְנֵי מוֹתוֹ

 27:10 w'hëvëtä l'äviykhä w'äkhäl Baávur ásher y'värekh'khä lif'nëy môtô

 27:10 And thou shalt bring 935 z8689 [it] to thy father, 1 that he may eat, 398 z8804 and that 834 x5668 he may bless 1288 z8762 thee before 6440 his death. 4194

וַיֹּאמֶר יַעֲקֹב אֶל־רִבְקָה אִמּוֹ הֵן עֵשָׂו אָחִי אִישׁ שָׂעִר וְאָנֹכִי אִישׁ חָלָק

אוּלַי יְמֻשֵּׁנִי אָבִי וְהָיִיתִי בְעֵינָיו כִּמְתַעְתֵּעַ וְהֵבֵאתִי עָלַי קְלָלָה וְלֹא בְרָכָה

 27:12 ûlay y'muSHëniy äviy w'häyiytiy v'ëynäyw Kim'ta'Tëª w'hëvëtiy älay q'läläh w'lo v'räkhäh

וַתֹּאמֶר לוֹ אִמּוֹ עָלַי קִלְלָתְךָ בְּנִי אַךְ שְׁמַע בְּקֹלִי וְלֵךְ קַח־לִי

וַיֵּלֶךְ וַיִּקַּח וַיָּבֵא לְאִמּוֹ וַתַּעַשׂ אִמּוֹ מַטְעַמִּים כַּאֲשֶׁר אָהֵב אָבִיו

 27:14 waYëlekh' waYiQach waYävë l'iMô waTaas iMô maţ'aMiym Kaásher ähëv äviyw

וַתִּתֵּן אֶת־הַמַּטְעַמִּים וְאֶת־הַלֶּחֶם אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂתָה בְּיַד יַעֲקֹב בְּנָהּ

 27:18 ¶ And he came 935 z8799 unto x413 his father, 1 and said, 559 z8799 My father: 1 and he said, 559 z8799 Here x2009 [am] I; who x4310 [art] thou, x859 my son? 1121

וַיֹּאמֶר יַעֲקֹב אֶל־אָבִיו אָנֹכִי עֵשָׂו בְּכֹרֶךָ עָשִׂיתִי כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבַּרְתָּ אֵלָי קוּם־נָא שְׁבָה וְאָכְלָה מִצֵּידִי בַּעֲבוּר תְּבָרֲכַנִּי נַפְשֶׁךָ

 27:19 waYomer yaáqov el-äviyw änokhiy ësäw B'khorekhä äsiytiy Kaásher DiBar'Tä ëläy qûm-nä sh'väh w'äkh'läh miTZëydiy Baávûr T'värákhaNiy naf'shekhä

 27:19 And Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב 3290 said 559 z8799 unto x413 his father, 1 I x595 [am] `Ëŝäw עֵשָׂו 6215 thy firstborn; 1060 I have done 6213 z8804 according as x834 thou badest 1696 z8765 x413 me: arise, 6965 z8798 I pray thee, x4994 sit 3427 z8798 and eat 398 z8798 of my venison, 6718 x4480 that x5668 thy soul 5315 may bless 1288 z8762 me.

וַיֹּאמֶר יִצְחָק אֶל־בְּנוֹ מַה־זֶּה מִהַרְתָּ לִמְצֹא בְּנִי וַיֹּאמֶר כִּי הִקְרָה יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ לְפָנָי

 27:20 waYomer yitz'chäq el-B'nô mah-Zeh mihar'Tä lim'tzo B'niy waYomer Kiy hiq'räh y'hwäh éloheykhä l'fänäy

 27:20 And Yixçäk יִצחָק 3327 said 559 z8799 unto x413 his son, 1121 How x4100 [is it] x2088 that thou hast found 4672 z8800 [it] so quickly, 4116 z8765 my son? 1121 And he said, 559 z8799 Because x3588 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 brought 7136 z8689 [it] to x6440 me. y6440

וַיֹּאמֶר יִצְחָק אֶל־יַעֲקֹב גְּשָׁה־נָּא וַאֲמֻשְׁךָ בְּנִי הַאַתָּה זֶה בְּנִי עֵשָׂו אִם־לֹא

וַיִּגַּשׁ יַעֲקֹב אֶל־יִצְחָק אָבִיו וַיְמֻשֵּׁהוּ וַיֹּאמֶר הַקֹּל קוֹל יַעֲקֹב וְהַיָּדַיִם יְדֵי עֵשָׂו

 27:22 And Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב 3290 went near 5066 z8799 unto x413 Yixçäk יִצחָק 3327 his father; 1 and he felt 4959 z8799 him, and said, 559 z8799 The voice 6963 [is] Ya`áköv's יַעֲקֹב 3290 voice, 6963 but the hands 3027 [are] the hands 3027 of `Ëŝäw עֵשָׂו. 6215

וְלֹא הִכִּירוֹ כִּי־הָיוּ יָדָיו כִּידֵי עֵשָׂו אָחִיו שְׂעִרֹת וַיְבָרְכֵהוּ

 27:23 w'lo hiKiyrô Kiy-häyû yädäyw Kiydëy ësäw ächiyw s'irot way'vär'khëhû

 27:23 And he discerned 5234 z8689 him not, x3808 because x3588 his hands 3027 were x1961 hairy, 8163 as his brother 251 `Ëŝäw's עֵשָׂו 6215 hands: 3027 so he blessed 1288 z8762 him.

וַיֹּאמֶר אַתָּה זֶה בְּנִי עֵשָׂו וַיֹּאמֶר אָנִי

וַיֹּאמֶר הַגִּשָׁה לִּי וְאֹכְלָה מִצֵּיד בְּנִי לְמַעַן תְּבָרֶכְךָ נַפְשִׁי וַיַּגֶּשׁ־לוֹ וַיֹּאכַל וַיָּבֵא לוֹ יַיִן וַיֵּשְׁתְּ

 27:25 And he said, 559 z8799 Bring [it] near 5066 z8685 to me, and I will eat 398 z8799 of my son's 1121 venison, 6718 x4480 that x4616 my soul 5315 may bless 1288 z8762 thee. And he brought [it] near 5066 z8686 to him, and he did eat: 398 z8799 and he brought 935 z8686 him wine, 3196 and he drank. 8354 z8799

וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו יִצְחָק אָבִיו גְּשָׁה־נָּא וּשְׁקָה־לִּי בְּנִי

וַיִּגַּשׁ וַיִּשַּׁק־לוֹ וַיָּרַח אֶת־רֵיחַ בְּגָדָיו וַיְבָרֲכֵהוּ וַיֹּאמֶר רְאֵה רֵיחַ בְּנִי כְּרֵיחַ שָׂדֶה אֲשֶׁר בֵּרֲכוֹ יְהוָה

 27:27 And he came near, 5066 z8799 and kissed 5401 z8799 him: and he smelled 7306 z8686 x853 the smell 7381 of his raiment, 899 and blessed 1288 z8762 him, and said, 559 z8799 See, 7200 z8798 the smell 7381 of my son 1121 [is] as the smell 7381 of a field 7704 which x834 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 hath blessed: 1288 z8765

וְיִתֶּן־לְךָ הָאֱלֹהִים מִטַּל הַשָּׁמַיִם וּמִשְׁמַנֵּי הָאָרֶץ וְרֹב דָּגָן וְתִירֹשׁ

 27:33 And Yixçäk יִצחָק 3327 trembled 2729 z8799 very y1419 exceedingly, 3966 2731 x1419 x5704 and said, 559 z8799 Who? x4310 where 645 [is] he x1931 that hath taken 6679 z8801 venison, 6718 and brought 935 z8686 [it] me, and I have eaten 398 z8799 of all x4480 x3605 before x2962 thou camest, 935 z8799 and have blessed 1288 z8762 him? yea, x1571 [and] he shall be x1961 blessed. 1288 z8803

כִּשְׁמֹעַ עֵשָׂו אֶת־דִּבְרֵי אָבִיו וַיִּצְעַק צְעָקָה גְּדֹלָה וּמָרָה עַד־מְאֹד וַיֹּאמֶר לְאָבִיו בָּרֲכֵנִי גַם־אָנִי אָבִי

 27:34 Kish'moª ësäw et-Div'rëy äviyw waYitz'aq tz'äqäh G'doläh ûmäräh ad-m'od waYomer l'äviyw Bärákhëniy gam-äniy äviy

 27:34 And when `Ëŝäw עֵשָׂו 6215 heard 8085 z8800 x853 the words 1697 of his father, 1 he cried 6817 z8799 with a great 1419 and x5704 exceeding 3966 bitter 4751 cry, 6818 and said 559 z8799 unto his father, 1 Bless 1288 z8761 me, [even] me x589 also, x1571 O my father. 1

וַיֹּאמֶר בָּא אָחִיךָ בְּמִרְמָה וַיִּקַּח בִּרְכָתֶךָ

 27:35 waYomer Bä ächiykhä B'mir'mäh waYiQach Bir'khätekhä

 27:35 And he said, 559 z8799 Thy brother 251 came 935 z8804 with subtilty, 4820 and hath taken away 3947 z8799 thy blessing. 1293

וַיֹּאמֶר הֲכִי קָרָא שְׁמוֹ יַעֲקֹב וַיַּעְקְבֵנִי זֶה פַעֲמַיִם אֶת־בְּכֹרָתִי לָקָח וְהִנֵּה עַתָּה לָקַח בִּרְכָתִי וַיֹּאמַר הֲלֹא־אָצַלְתָּ לִּי בְּרָכָה

 27:36 waYomer hákhiy qärä sh'mô yaáqov waYa'q'vëniy zeh faámayim et-B'khorätiy läqäch w'hiNëh aTäh läqach Bir'khätiy waYomar hálo-ätzal'Tä Liy B'räkhäh

 27:36 And he said, 559 z8799 Is not he rightly 3588 named 7121 8034 z8804 Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב? 3290 for he hath supplanted x6117 me y6117 z8799 these 2088 two times: 6471 he took away 3947 z8804 x853 my birthright; 1062 and, behold, x2009 now x6258 he hath taken away 3947 z8804 my blessing. 1293 And he said, 559 z8799 Hast thou not x3808 reserved 680 z8804 a blessing 1293 for me?

וַיַּעַן יִצְחָק וַיֹּאמֶר לְעֵשָׂו הֵן גְּבִיר שַׂמְתִּיו לָךְ וְאֶת־כָּל־אֶחָיו נָתַתִּי לוֹ לַעֲבָדִים וְדָגָן וְתִירֹשׁ סְמַכְתִּיו וּלְכָה אֵפוֹא מָה אֶעֱשֶׂה בְּנִי

 27:37 waYaan yitz'chäq waYomer l'ësäw hën G'viyr sam'Tiyw läkh' w'et-Käl-echäyw nätaTiy lô laávädiym w'dägän w'tiyrosh š'makh'Tiyw ûl'khäh ëfô mäh eéseh B'niy

 27:37 And Yixçäk יִצחָק 3327 answered 6030 z8799 and said 559 z8799 unto `Ëŝäw עֵשָׂו, 6215 Behold, x2005 I have made 7760 z8804 him thy lord, 1376 and all x3605 his brethren 251 have I given 5414 z8804 to him for servants; 5650 and with corn 1715 and wine 8492 have I sustained 5564 z8804 him: and what x4100 shall I do 6213 z8799 now 645 unto thee, my son? 1121

וַיֹּאמֶר עֵשָׂו אֶל־אָבִיו הַבְרָכָה אַחַת הִוא־לְךָ אָבִי בָּרֲכֵנִי גַם־אָנִי אָבִי וַיִּשָּׂא עֵשָׂו קֹלוֹ וַיֵּבְךְּ

 27:38 waYomer ësäw el-äviyw hav'räkhäh achat hiw-l'khä äviy Bärákhëniy gam-äniy äviy waYiSä ësäw qolô waYëv'K'

 27:38 And `Ëŝäw עֵשָׂו 6215 said 559 z8799 unto x413 his father, 1 Hast thou but one 259 blessing, 1293 my father? 1 bless 1288 z8761 me, [even] me x589 also, x1571 O my father. 1 And `Ëŝäw עֵשָׂו 6215 lifted up 5375 z8799 his voice, 6963 and wept. 1058 z8799

וַיַּעַן יִצְחָק אָבִיו וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו הִנֵּה מִשְׁמַנֵּי הָאָרֶץ יִהְיֶה מוֹשָׁבֶךָ וּמִטַּל הַשָּׁמַיִם מֵעָל

 27:39 waYaan yitz'chäq äviyw waYomer ëläyw hiNëh mish'maNëy hääretz yih'yeh môshävekhä ûmiŢal haSHämayim mëäl

 27:39 And Yixçäk יִצחָק 3327 his father 1 answered 6030 z8799 and said 559 z8799 unto x413 him, Behold, x2009 thy dwelling 4186 shall be x1961 the fatness 4924 x4480 of the earth, 776 and of the dew 2919 x4480 of heaven 8064 from above; 5920 x4480

וְעַל־חַרְבְּךָ תִחְיֶה וְאֶת־אָחִיךָ תַּעֲבֹד וְהָיָה כַּאֲשֶׁר תָּרִיד וּפָרַקְתָּ עֻלּוֹ מֵעַל צַוָּארֶךָ

 27:40 w'al-char'B'khä tich'yeh w'et-ächiykhä Taávod w'häyäh Kaásher Täriyd ûfäraq'Tä uLô mëal tzaûärekhä

 27:40 And by x5921 thy sword 2719 shalt thou live, 2421 z8799 and shalt serve 5647 z8799 thy brother; 251 and it shall come to pass x1961 when x834 thou shalt have the dominion, 7300 z8686 that thou shalt break 6561 z8804 his yoke 5923 from off x4480 x5921 thy neck. 6677

וַיִּשְׂטֹם עֵשָׂו אֶת־יַעֲקֹב עַל־הַבְּרָכָה אֲשֶׁר בֵּרֲכוֹ אָבִיו וַיֹּאמֶר עֵשָׂו בְּלִבּוֹ יִקְרְבוּ יְמֵי אֵבֶל אָבִי וְאַהַרְגָה אֶת־יַעֲקֹב אָחִי

 27:41 ¶ And `Ëŝäw עֵשָׂו 6215 hated 7852 z8799 x853 Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב 3290 because y5921 of x5921 the blessing 1293 wherewith 834 his father 1 blessed x1288 him: y1288 z8765 and `Ëŝäw עֵשָׂו 6215 said 559 z8799 in his heart, 3820 The days 3117 of mourning 60 for my father 1 are at hand; 7126 z8799 then will I slay 2026 z8799 x853 my brother 251 Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב. 3290

וַיֻּגַּד לְרִבְקָה אֶת־דִּבְרֵי עֵשָׂו בְּנָהּ הַגָּדֹל וַתִּשְׁלַח וַתִּקְרָא לְיַעֲקֹב בְּנָהּ הַקָּטָן וַתֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו הִנֵּה עֵשָׂו אָחִיךָ מִתְנַחֵם לְךָ לְהָרְגֶךָ

 27:42 waYuGad l'riv'qäh et-Div'rëy ësäw B'näH haGädol waTish'lach waTiq'rä l'yaáqov B'näH haQäţän waTomer ëläyw hiNëh ësäw ächiykhä mit'nachëm l'khä l'här'gekhä

 27:42 And x853 these words 1697 of `Ëŝäw עֵשָׂו 6215 her elder 1419 son 1121 were told 5046 z8714 to Rivkà רִבקָה: 7259 and she sent 7971 z8799 and called 7121 z8799 Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב 3290 her younger 6996 son, 1121 and said 559 z8799 unto x413 him, Behold, x2009 thy brother 251 `Ëŝäw עֵשָׂו, 6215 as touching thee, doth comfort y5162 z8693 himself, x5162 [purposing] to kill 2026 z8800 thee.

וְעַתָּה בְנִי שְׁמַע בְּקֹלִי וְקוּם בְּרַח־לְךָ אֶל־לָבָן אָחִי חָרָנָה

 27:43 w'aTäh v'niy sh'ma B'qoliy w'qûm B'rach-l'khä el-lävän ächiy chäränäh

 27:43 Now x6258 therefore, my son, 1121 obey 8085 z8798 my voice; 6963 and arise, 6965 z8798 flee 1272 z8798 thou to x413 Lävän לָבָן 3837 my brother 251 to Çärän חָרָן; 2771

וְיָשַׁבְתָּ עִמּוֹ יָמִים אֲחָדִים עַד אֲשֶׁר־תָּשׁוּב חֲמַת אָחִיךָ

וַתֹּאמֶר רִבְקָה אֶל־יִצְחָק קַצְתִּי בְחַיַּי מִפְּנֵי בְּנוֹת חֵת אִם־לֹקֵחַ יַעֲקֹב אִשָּׁה מִבְּנוֹת־חֵת כָּאֵלֶּה מִבְּנוֹת הָאָרֶץ לָמָּה לִּי חַיִּים

 27:46 waTomer riv'qäh el-yitz'chäq qatz'Tiy v'chaYay miP'nëy B'nôt chët im-loqëªch yaáqov iSHäh miB'nôt-chët KäëLeh miB'nôt hääretz läMäh Liy chaYiym

 27:46 And Rivkà רִבקָה 7259 said 559 z8799 to x413 Yixçäk יִצחָק, 3327 I am weary 6973 z8804 of my life 2416 because 6440 x4480 of the daughters 1323 of Çëŧ חֵת: 2845 if x518 Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב 3290 take 3947 z8802 a wife 802 of the daughters 1323 x4480 of Çëŧ חֵת, 2845 such as these x428 [which are] of the daughters 1323 x4480 of the land, 776 what good 4100 shall my life 2416 do me?
