 40:1 ¶ And it came to pass x1961 after 310 these x428 things, 1697 [that] the butler y8248 z8688 x4945 of the king 4428 of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם 4714 and [his] baker 644 z8802 had offended 2398 z8804 their ´áđôn אֲדוֹן 113 the king 4428 of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם. 4714

וַיִּקְצֹף פַּרְעֹה עַל שְׁנֵי סָרִיסָיו עַל שַׂר הַמַּשְׁקִים וְעַל שַׂר הָאוֹפִים

 40:2 waYiq'tzof Par'oh al sh'nëy šäriyšäyw al sar haMash'qiym w'al sar häôfiym

 40:2 And Par`ò פַּרעֹה 6547 was wroth 7107 z8799 against 5921 two 8147 [of] his officers, 5631 against x5921 the chief 8269 of the butlers, y8248 z8688 x4945 and against x5921 the chief 8269 of the bakers. 644 z8802

וַיִּתֵּן אֹתָם בְּמִשְׁמַר בֵּית שַׂר הַטַבָּחִים אֶל־בֵּית הַסֹּהַר מְקוֹם אֲשֶׁר יוֹסֵף אָסוּר שָׁם

 40:5 ¶ And they dreamed 2492 z8799 a dream 2472 both x8147 of them, y8147 each man 376 his dream 2472 in one 259 night, 3915 each man 376 according to the interpretation 6623 of his dream, 2472 the butler y8248 z8688 x4945 and the baker 644 z8802 of the king 4428 of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם, 4714 which x834 [were] bound 631 z8803 in the prison. 1004 5470

וַיָּבֹא אֲלֵיהֶם יוֹסֵף בַּבֹּקֶר וַיַּרְא אֹתָם וְהִנָּם זֹעֲפִים

וַיִּשְׁאַל אֶת־סְרִיסֵי פַרְעֹה אֲשֶׁר אִתּוֹ בְמִשְׁמַר בֵּית אֲדֹנָיו לֵאמֹר מַדּוּעַ פְּנֵיכֶם רָעִים הַיּוֹם

וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֵלָיו חֲלוֹם חָלַמְנוּ וּפֹתֵר אֵין אֹתוֹ וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵהֶם יוֹסֵף הֲלוֹא לֵאלֹהִים פִּתְרֹנִים סַפְּרוּ־נָא לִי

 40:8 waYom'rû ëläyw chálôm chälam'nû ûfotër ëyn otô waYomer álëhem yôšëf hálô lëlohiym Pit'roniym šaP'rû-nä liy

 40:8 And they said 559 z8799 unto x413 him, We have dreamed 2492 z8804 a dream, 2472 and [there is] no x369 interpreter 6622 z8802 of it. And Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 said 559 z8799 unto x413 them, [Do] not x3808 interpretations 6623 [belong] to ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים? 430 tell x5608 me y5608 z8761 [them], I pray you. x4994

וַיְסַפֵּר שַׂר־הַמַּשְׁקִים אֶת־חֲלֹמוֹ לְיוֹסֵף וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ בַּחֲלוֹמִי וְהִנֵּה־גֶפֶן לְפָנָי

וּבַגֶּפֶן שְׁלֹשָׁה שָׂרִיגִם וְהִיא כְפֹרַחַת עָלְתָה נִצָּהּ הִבְשִׁילוּ אַשְׁכְּלֹתֶיהָ עֲנָבִים

 40:10 ûvaGefen sh'loshäh säriygim w'hiy kh'forachat äl'täh niTZäH hiv'shiylû ash'K'loteyhä ánäviym

 40:10 And in the vine 1612 [were] three 7969 branches: 8299 and it [was] as though it budded, 6524 z8802 [and] her x1931 blossoms 5322 shot forth; 5927 z8804 and the clusters 811 thereof brought forth x1310 ripe y1310 z8689 grapes: 6025

וְכוֹס פַּרְעֹה בְּיָדִי וָאֶקַּח אֶת־הָעֲנָבִים וָאֶשְׂחַט אֹתָם אֶל־כּוֹס פַּרְעֹה וָאֶתֵּן אֶת־הַכּוֹס עַל־כַּף פַּרְעֹה

 40:11 w'khôš Par'oh B'yädiy wäeQach et-häánäviym wäes'chaţ otäm el-Kôš Par'oh wäeTën et-haKôš al-Kaf Par'oh

 40:11 And Par`ò's פַּרעֹה 6547 cup 3563 [was] in my hand: 3027 and I took 3947 z8799 x853 the grapes, 6025 and pressed 7818 z8799 them into x413 Par`ò's פַּרעֹה 6547 cup, 3563 and I gave 5414 z8799 x853 the cup 3563 into x5921 Par`ò's פַּרעֹה 6547 hand. 3709

וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ יוֹסֵף זֶה פִּתְרֹנוֹ שְׁלֹשֶׁת הַשָּׂרִגִים שְׁלֹשֶׁת יָמִים הֵם

 40:12 And Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 said 559 z8799 unto him, This x2088 [is] the interpretation 6623 of it: The three 7969 branches 8299 [are] three 7969 days: 3117

בְּעוֹד שְׁלֹשֶׁת יָמִים יִשָּׂא פַרְעֹה אֶת־רֹאשֶׁךָ וַהֲשִׁיבְךָ עַל־כַּנֶּךָ וְנָתַתָּ כוֹס־פַּרְעֹה בְּיָדוֹ כַּמִּשְׁפָּט הָרִאשׁוֹן אֲשֶׁר הָיִיתָ מַשְׁקֵהוּ

 40:13 B'ôd sh'loshet yämiym yiSä far'oh et-roshekhä waháshiyv'khä al-KaNekhä w'nätaTä khôš-Par'oh B'yädô KaMish'Päţ härishôn ásher häyiytä mash'qëhû

 40:13 Yet 5750 within three 7969 days 3117 shall Par`ò פַּרעֹה 6547 lift up 5375 z8799 x853 thine head, 7218 and restore 7725 z8689 thee unto x5921 thy place: 3653 and thou shalt deliver 5414 z8804 Par`ò's פַּרעֹה 6547 cup 3563 into his hand, 3027 after the former 7223 manner 4941 when x834 thou wast x1961 his butler. y8248 z8688 x4945

כִּי אִם־זְכַרְתַּנִי אִתְּךָ כַּאֲשֶׁר יִיטַב לָךְ וְעָשִׂיתָ־נָּא עִמָּדִי חָסֶד וְהִזְכַּרְתַּנִי אֶל־פַּרְעֹה וְהוֹצֵאתַנִי מִן־הַבַּיִת הַזֶּה

 40:14 Kiy im-z'khar'Taniy iT'khä Kaásher yiyţav läkh' w'äsiytä-Nä iMädiy chäšed w'hiz'Kar'Taniy el-Par'oh w'hôtzëtaniy min-haBayit haZeh

כִּי־גֻנֹּב גֻּנַּבְתִּי מֵאֶרֶץ הָעִבְרִים וְגַם־פֹּה לֹא־עָשִׂיתִי מְאוּמָה כִּי־שָׂמוּ אֹתִי בַּבּוֹר

 40:15 Kiy-guNov GuNav'Tiy mëeretz häiv'riym w'gam-Poh lo-äsiytiy m'ûmäh Kiy-sämû otiy BaBôr

וַיַּרְא שַׂר־הָאֹפִים כִּי טוֹב פָּתָר וַיֹּאמֶר אֶל־יוֹסֵף אַף־אֲנִי בַּחֲלוֹמִי וְהִנֵּה שְׁלֹשָׁה סַלֵּי חֹרִי עַל־רֹאשִׁי

וּבַסַּל הָעֶלְיוֹן מִכֹּל מַאֲכַל פַּרְעֹה מַעֲשֵׂה אֹפֶה וְהָעוֹף אֹכֵל אֹתָם מִן־הַסַּל מֵעַל רֹאשִׁי

 40:17 ûvaŠal häel'yôn miKol maákhal Par'oh maásëh ofeh w'häôf okhël otäm min-haŠal mëal roshiy

 40:17 And in the uppermost 5945 basket 5536 [there was] of all manner y3978 x4480 x3605 of bakemeats 4639 644 z8802 x3978 for Par`ò פַּרעֹה; 6547 and the birds 5775 did eat 398 z8802 them out of x4480 the basket 5536 upon 5921 x4480 my head. 7218

וַיַּעַן יוֹסֵף וַיֹּאמֶר זֶה פִּתְרֹנוֹ שְׁלֹשֶׁת הַסַּלִּים שְׁלֹשֶׁת יָמִים הֵם

 40:18 waYaan yôšëf waYomer zeh Pit'ronô sh'loshet haŠaLiym sh'loshet yämiym hëm

 40:18 And Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 answered 6030 z8799 and said, 559 z8799 This x2088 [is] the interpretation 6623 thereof: The three 7969 baskets 5536 [are] three 7969 days: 3117

בְּעוֹד שְׁלֹשֶׁת יָמִים יִשָּׂא פַרְעֹה אֶת־רֹאשְׁךָ מֵעָלֶיךָ וְתָלָה אוֹתְךָ עַל־עֵץ וְאָכַל הָעוֹף אֶת־בְּשָׂרְךָ מֵעָלֶיךָ

 40:19 B'ôd sh'loshet yämiym yiSä far'oh et-rosh'khä mëäleykhä w'täläh ôt'khä al-ëtz w'äkhal häôf et-B'sär'khä mëäleykhä

 40:19 Yet x5750 within three 7969 days 3117 shall Par`ò פַּרעֹה 6547 lift up 5375 z8799 x853 thy head 7218 from off x4480 x5921 thee, and shall hang 8518 z8804 thee on x5921 a tree; 6086 and the birds 5775 shall eat 398 z8804 x853 thy flesh 1320 from off x4480 x5921 thee.

וַיְהִי בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי יוֹם הֻלֶּדֶת אֶת־פַּרְעֹה וַיַּעַשׂ מִשְׁתֶּה לְכָל־עֲבָדָיו וַיִּשָּׂא אֶת־רֹאשׁ שַׂר הַמַּשְׁקִים וְאֶת־רֹאשׁ שַׂר הָאֹפִים בְּתוֹךְ עֲבָדָיו

 40:20 way'hiy BaYôm haSH'liyshiy yôm huLedet et-Par'oh waYaas mish'Teh l'khäl-ávädäyw waYiSä et-rosh sar haMash'qiym w'et-rosh sar häofiym B'tôkh' ávädäyw

 40:20 ¶ And it came to pass x1961 the third 7992 day, 3117 [which was] x853 Par`ò's פַּרעֹה 6547 birthday, 3117 3205 z8715 that he made 6213 z8799 a feast 4960 unto all x3605 his servants: 5650 and he lifted up 5375 z8799 x853 the head 7218 of the chief 8269 butler y8248 z8688 x4945 and of the chief 8269 baker 644 z8802 among 8432 his servants. 5650

וַיָּשֶׁב אֶת־שַׂר הַמַּשְׁקִים עַל־מַשְׁקֵהוּ וַיִּתֵּן הַכּוֹס עַל־כַּף פַּרְעֹה

 40:21 waYäshev et-sar haMash'qiym al-mash'qëhû waYiTën haKôš al-Kaf Par'oh

 40:21 And he restored 7725 z0 x853 the chief 8269 butler y8248 z8688 x4945 unto x5921 his butlership 4945 again; y7725 z8686 and he gave 5414 z8799 the cup 3563 into x5921 Par`ò's פַּרעֹה 6547 hand: 3709

וְאֵת שַׂר הָאֹפִים תָּלָה כַּאֲשֶׁר פָּתַר לָהֶם יוֹסֵף

 40:22 w'ët sar häofiym Täläh Kaásher Pätar lähem yôšëf

 40:22 But he hanged 8518 z8804 the chief 8269 baker: 644 z8802 as x834 Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 had interpreted 6622 z8804 to them.

וְלֹא־זָכַר שַׂר־הַמַּשְׁקִים אֶת־יוֹסֵף וַיִּשְׁכָּחֵהוּ פ

 40:23 w'lo-zäkhar sar-haMash'qiym et-yôšëf waYish'Kächëhû f

 40:23 Yet did not x3808 the chief 8269 butler y8248 z8688 x4945 remember 2142 z8804 x853 Yôsëf יוֹסֵף, 3130 but forgat 7911 z8799 him.
