 38:4 And I will turn thee back, 7725 z8790 and put 5414 z8804 hooks 2397 into thy jaws, 3895 and I will bring thee forth, 3318 z8689 x853 and all x3605 thine army, 2428 horses 5483 and horsemen, 6571 all x3605 of them clothed 3847 z8803 with all sorts 4358 [of armour, even] a great 7227 company 6951 [with] bucklers 6793 and shields, 4043 all x3605 of them handling 8610 z8802 swords: 2719

כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה וְהָיָה בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא יַעֲלוּ דְבָרִים עַל־לְבָבֶךָ וְחָשַׁבְתָּ מַחֲשֶׁבֶת רָעָה

 38:11 And thou shalt say, 559 z8804 I will go up 5927 z8799 to x5921 the land 776 of unwalled villages; 6519 I will go 935 z8799 to them that are at rest, 8252 z8802 that dwell 3427 z8802 safely, 983 all x3605 of them dwelling 3427 z8802 without x369 walls, 2346 and having neither x369 bars 1280 nor gates, 1817

 38:12 To take 7997 z8800 a spoil, 7998 and to take 962 z8800 a prey; 957 to turn 7725 z8687 thine hand 3027 upon x5921 the desolate places 2723 [that are now] inhabited, 3427 z8737 and upon x413 the people 5971 [that are] gathered 622 z8794 out of the nations, 1471 x4480 which have gotten 6213 z8802 cattle 4735 and goods, 7075 that dwell 3427 z8802 in x5921 the midst 2872 of the land. 776

 38:13 Šævä´ שְׁבָא, 7614 and Dæđän דְּדָן, 1719 and the merchants 5503 z8802 of Taršîš תַּרשִׁישׁ, 8659 with all x3605 the young lions 3715 thereof, shall say 559 z8799 unto thee, Art thou x859 come 935 z8802 to take 7997 z8800 a spoil? 7998 hast thou gathered 6950 z8689 thy company 6951 to take 962 z8800 a prey? 957 to carry away 5375 z8800 silver 3701 and gold, 2091 to take away 3947 z8800 cattle 4735 and goods, 7075 to take 7997 z8800 a great 1419 spoil? 7998

לָכֵן הִנָּבֵא בֶן־אָדָם וְאָמַרְתָּ לְגוֹג כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה הֲלוֹא בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא בְּשֶׁבֶת עַמִּי יִשְׂרָאֵל לָבֶטַח תֵּדָע

 38:14 ¶ Therefore, x3651 son 1121 of man, 120 prophesy 5012 z8734 and say 559 z8804 unto Gôq גּוֹג, 1463 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 ´Áđönäy אֲדֹנָי 136 Yähwè יָהוֶה; 3069 In that x1931 day 3117 when my people 5971 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 dwelleth 3427 z8800 safely, 983 shalt thou not x3808 know 3045 z8799 [it]?

וּבָאתָ מִמְּקוֹמְךָ מִיַּרְכְּתֵי צָפוֹן אַתָּה וְעַמִּים רַבִּים אִתָּךְ רֹכְבֵי סוּסִים כֻּלָּם קָהָל גָּדוֹל וְחַיִל רָב

 38:15 ûvätä miM'qôm'khä miYar'K'tëy tzäfôn aTäh w'aMiym raBiym iTäkh' rokh'vëy šûšiym KuLäm qähäl Gädôl w'chayil räv

 38:15 And thou shalt come 935 z8804 from thy place 4725 x4480 out of the north 6828 parts, 3411 x4480 thou, x859 and many 7227 people 5971 with x854 thee, all x3605 of them riding 7392 z8802 upon horses, 5483 a great 1419 company, 6951 and a mighty 7227 army: 2428

וְעָלִיתָ עַל־עַמִּי יִשְׂרָאֵל כֶּעָנָן לְכַסּוֹת הָאָרֶץ בְּאַחֲרִית הַיָּמִים תִּהְיֶה וַהֲבִאוֹתִיךָ עַל־אַרְצִי לְמַעַן דַּעַת הַגּוֹיִם אֹתִי בְּהִקָּדְשִׁי בְךָ לְעֵינֵיהֶם גּוֹג ס

 38:16 And thou shalt come up 5927 z8804 against x5921 my people 5971 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 as a cloud 6051 to cover 3680 z8763 the land; 776 it shall be x1961 in the latter 319 days, 3117 and I will bring 935 z8689 thee against x5921 my land, 776 that x4616 the heathen 1471 may know 3045 z8800 me, when I shall be sanctified 6942 z8736 in thee, O Gôq גּוֹג, 1463 before their eyes. 5869

 38:17 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 ´Áđönäy אֲדֹנָי 136 Yähwè יָהוֶה; 3069 [Art] thou x859 he x1931 of whom x834 I have spoken 1696 z8765 in old 6931 time 3117 by 3027 my servants 5650 the prophets 5030 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 which prophesied 5012 z8737 in those x1992 days 3117 [many] years 8141 that I would bring 935 z8687 thee against x5921 them?

וְהָיָה בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא בְּיוֹם בּוֹא גוֹג עַל־אַדְמַת יִשְׂרָאֵל נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה תַּעֲלֶה חֲמָתִי בְּאַפִּי

 38:18 And it shall come to pass x1961 at the same x1931 time 3117 when 3117 Gôq גּוֹג 1463 shall come 935 z8800 against x5921 the land 127 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 saith 5002 z8803 ´Áđönäy אֲדֹנָי 136 Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3069 [that] my fury 2534 shall come up 5927 z8799 in my face. 639

וּבְקִנְאָתִי בְאֵשׁ־עֶבְרָתִי דִּבַּרְתִּי אִם־לֹא בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא יִהְיֶה רַעַשׁ גָּדוֹל עַל אַדְמַת יִשְׂרָאֵל

 38:19 For in my jealousy 7068 [and] in the fire 784 of my wrath 5678 have I spoken, 1696 z8765 Surely x518 x3808 in that x1931 day 3117 there shall be x1961 a great 1419 shaking 7494 in x5921 the land 127 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל; 3478

 38:20 So that the fishes 1709 of the sea, 3220 and the fowls 5775 of the heaven, 8064 and the beasts 2416 of the field, 7704 and all x3605 creeping things 7431 that creep 7430 z8802 upon x5921 the earth, 127 and all x3605 the men 120 that x834 [are] upon x5921 the face 6440 of the earth, 127 shall shake 7493 z8804 at my presence, 6440 x4480 and the mountains 2022 shall be thrown down, 2040 z8738 and the steep places 4095 shall fall, 5307 z8804 and every x3605 wall 2346 shall fall 5307 z8799 to the ground. 776

 38:21 And I will call y7121 z8804 for x7121 a sword 2719 against x5921 him throughout all x3605 my mountains, 2022 saith 5002 z8803 ´Áđönäy אֲדֹנָי 136 Yähwè יָהוֶה: 3069 every man's 376 sword 2719 shall be x1961 against his brother. 251

וְנִשְׁפַּטְתִּי אִתּוֹ בְּדֶבֶר וּבְדָם וְגֶשֶׁם שׁוֹטֵף וְאַבְנֵי אֶלְגָּבִישׁ אֵשׁ וְגָפְרִית אַמְטִיר עָלָיו וְעַל־אֲגַפָּיו וְעַל־עַמִּים רַבִּים אֲשֶׁר אִתּוֹ

 38:22 And I will plead 8199 z8738 against x854 him with pestilence 1698 and with blood; 1818 and I will rain 4305 z8686 upon x5921 him, and upon x5921 his bands, 102 and upon x5921 the many 7227 people 5971 that x834 [are] with x854 him, an overflowing 7857 z8802 rain, 1653 and great hailstones, 417 68 fire, 784 and brimstone. 1614

וְהִתְגַּדִּלְתִּי וְהִתְקַדִּשְׁתִּי וְנוֹדַעְתִּי לְעֵינֵי גּוֹיִם רַבִּים וְיָדְעוּ כִּי־אֲנִי יְהוָה ס

 38:23 w'hit'GaDil'Tiy w'hit'qaDish'Tiy w'nôda'Tiy l'ëynëy Gôyim raBiym w'yäd'û Kiy-ániy y'hwäh š

 38:23 Thus will I magnify y1431 z8694 myself, x1431 and sanctify y6942 z8694 myself; x6942 and I will be known 3045 z8738 in the eyes 5869 of many 7227 nations, 1471 and they shall know 3045 z8804 that x3588 I x589 [am] Yähwè יָהוֶה. 3068
