כִּי־יִמָּצֵא בְקִרְבְּךָ בְּאַחַד שְׁעָרֶיךָ אֲשֶׁר־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לָךְ אִישׁ אוֹ־אִשָּׁה אֲשֶׁר יַעֲשֶׂה אֶת־הָרַע בְּעֵינֵי יְהוָה־אֱלֹהֶיךָ לַעֲבֹר בְּרִיתוֹ

וַיֵּלֶךְ וַיַּעֲבֹד אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים וַיִּשְׁתַּחוּ לָהֶם וְלַשֶּׁמֶשׁ אוֹ לַיָּרֵחַ אוֹ לְכָל־צְבָא הַשָּׁמַיִם אֲשֶׁר לֹא־צִוִּיתִי

וְהֻגַּד־לְךָ וְשָׁמָעְתָּ וְדָרַשְׁתָּ הֵיטֵב וְהִנֵּה אֱמֶת נָכוֹן הַדָּבָר נֶעֶשְׂתָה הַתּוֹעֵבָה הַזֹּאת בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל

וְהוֹצֵאתָ אֶת־הָאִישׁ הַהוּא אוֹ אֶת־הָאִשָּׁה הַהִוא אֲשֶׁר עָשׂוּ אֶת־הַדָּבָר הָרָע הַזֶּה אֶל־שְׁעָרֶיךָ אֶת־הָאִישׁ אוֹ אֶת־הָאִשָּׁה וּסְקַלְתָּם בָּאֲבָנִים וָמֵתוּ

עַל־פִּי שְׁנַיִם עֵדִים אוֹ שְׁלֹשָׁה עֵדִים יוּמַת הַמֵּת לֹא יוּמַת עַל־פִּי עֵד אֶחָד

 17:6 al-Piy sh'nayim ëdiym ô sh'loshäh ëdiym yûmat haMët lo yûmat al-Piy ëd echäd

יַד הָעֵדִים תִּהְיֶה־בּוֹ בָרִאשֹׁנָה לַהֲמִיתוֹ וְיַד כָּל־הָעָם בָּאַחֲרֹנָה וּבִעַרְתָּ הָרָע מִקִּרְבֶּךָ פ

כִּי יִפָּלֵא מִמְּךָ דָבָר לַמִּשְׁפָּט בֵּין־דָּם לְדָם בֵּין־דִּין לְדִין וּבֵין נֶגַע לָנֶגַע דִּבְרֵי רִיבֹת בִּשְׁעָרֶיךָ וְקַמְתָּ וְעָלִיתָ אֶל־הַמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר יִבְחַר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בּוֹ

וּבָאתָ אֶל־הַכֹּהֲנִים הַלְוִיִּם וְאֶל־הַשֹּׁפֵט אֲשֶׁר יִהְיֶה בַּיָּמִים הָהֵם וְדָרַשְׁתָּ וְהִגִּידוּ לְךָ אֵת דְּבַר הַמִּשְׁפָּט

 17:9 And thou shalt come 935 z8804 unto x413 the priests 3548 the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם, 3881 and unto x413 the judge 8199 z8802 that x834 shall be x1961 in those x1992 days, 3117 and enquire; 1875 z8804 and they shall shew 5046 z8689 thee x853 the sentence 1697 of judgment: 4941

וְעָשִׂיתָ עַל־פִּי הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר יַגִּידוּ לְךָ מִן־הַמָּקוֹם הַהוּא אֲשֶׁר יִבְחַר יְהוָה וְשָׁמַרְתָּ לַעֲשׂוֹת כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר יוֹרוּךָ

עַל־פִּי הַתּוֹרָה אֲשֶׁר יוֹרוּךָ וְעַל־הַמִּשְׁפָּט אֲשֶׁר־יֹאמְרוּ לְךָ תַּעֲשֶׂה לֹא תָסוּר מִן־הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר־יַגִּידוּ לְךָ יָמִין וּשְׂמֹאל

 17:11 al-Piy haTôräh ásher yôrûkhä w'al-haMish'Päţ ásher-yom'rû l'khä Taáseh lo täšûr min-haDävär ásher-yaGiydû l'khä yämiyn ûs'mol

וְהָאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר־יַעֲשֶׂה בְזָדוֹן לְבִלְתִּי שְׁמֹעַ אֶל־הַכֹּהֵן הָעֹמֵד לְשָׁרֶת שָׁם אֶת־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ אוֹ אֶל־הַשֹּׁפֵט וּמֵת הָאִישׁ הַהוּא וּבִעַרְתָּ הָרָע מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל

 17:12 w'häiysh ásher-yaáseh v'zädôn l'vil'Tiy sh'moª el-haKohën häomëd l'shäret shäm et-y'hwäh éloheykhä ô el-haSHofëţ ûmët häiysh hahû ûviar'Tä härä miYis'räël

 17:12 And the man 376 that x834 will do 6213 z8799 presumptuously, 2087 and will not x1115 hearken 8085 z8800 unto x413 the priest 3548 that standeth 5975 z8802 to minister 8334 z8763 there x8033 before x854 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים, 430 or x176 unto x413 the judge, 8199 z8802 even that x1931 man 376 shall die: 4191 z8804 and thou shalt put away 1197 z8765 the evil 7451 from Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל. 3478 x4480

וְכָל־הָעָם יִשְׁמְעוּ וְיִרָאוּ וְלֹא יְזִידוּן עוֹד ס

 17:13 w'khäl-hääm yish'm'û w'yiräû w'lo y'ziydûn ôd š

כִּי־תָבֹא אֶל־הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לָךְ וִירִשְׁתָּהּ וְיָשַׁבְתָּה בָּהּ וְאָמַרְתָּ אָשִׂימָה עָלַי מֶלֶךְ כְּכָל־הַגּוֹיִם אֲשֶׁר סְבִיבֹתָי

 17:14 ¶ When x3588 thou art come 935 z8799 unto x413 the land 776 which x834 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 giveth 5414 z8802 thee, and shalt possess 3423 z8804 it, and shalt dwell 3427 z8804 therein, and shalt say, 559 z8804 I will set 7760 z8799 a king 4428 over x5921 me, like as all x3605 the nations 1471 that x834 [are] about 5439 me;

שׂוֹם תָּשִׂים עָלֶיךָ מֶלֶךְ אֲשֶׁר יִבְחַר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בּוֹ מִקֶּרֶב אַחֶיךָ תָּשִׂים עָלֶיךָ מֶלֶךְ לֹא תוּכַל לָתֵת עָלֶיךָ אִישׁ נָכְרִי אֲשֶׁר לֹא־אָחִיךָ הוּא

 17:15 Thou shalt in any wise y7760 z8800 set 7760 z8799 [him] king 4428 over x5921 thee, whom x834 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 shall choose: 977 z8799 [one] from among 7130 x4480 thy brethren 251 shalt thou set 7760 z8799 king 4428 over x5921 thee: thou mayest 3201 z8799 not x3808 set 5414 z8800 a stranger 5237 376 over x5921 thee, which x834 [is] not x3808 thy brother. 251

רַק לֹא־יַרְבֶּה־לּוֹ סוּסִים וְלֹא־יָשִׁיב אֶת־הָעָם מִצְרַיְמָה לְמַעַן הַרְבּוֹת סוּס וַיהוָה אָמַר לָכֶם לֹא תֹסִפוּן לָשׁוּב בַּדֶּרֶךְ הַזֶּה עוֹד

 17:16 raq lo-yar'Beh-Lô šûšiym w'lo-yäshiyv et-hääm mitz'ray'mäh l'maan har'Bôt šûš wayhwäh ämar läkhem lo tošifûn läshûv BaDerekh' haZeh ôd

 17:16 But x7535 he shall not x3808 multiply 7235 z8686 horses 5483 to himself, nor x3808 cause x853 the people 5971 to return 7725 z8686 to Mixrayim מִצרַיִם, 4714 to the end that x4616 he should multiply 7235 z8687 horses: 5483 forasmuch as Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 hath said 559 z8804 unto you, Ye shall henceforth 3254 z8686 return 7725 z8800 no x3808 more x5750 that x2088 way. 1870

וְלֹא יַרְבֶּה־לּוֹ נָשִׁים וְלֹא יָסוּר לְבָבוֹ וְכֶסֶף וְזָהָב לֹא יַרְבֶּה־לּוֹ מְאֹד

וְהָיָה כְשִׁבְתּוֹ עַל כִּסֵּא מַמְלַכְתּוֹ וְכָתַב לוֹ אֶת־מִשְׁנֵה הַתּוֹרָה הַזֹּאת עַל־סֵפֶר מִלִּפְנֵי הַכֹּהֲנִים הַלְוִיִּם

 17:18 And it shall be, x1961 when he sitteth 3427 z8800 upon x5921 the throne 3678 of his kingdom, 4467 that he shall write 3789 z8804 him x853 a copy 4932 of this x2063 law 8451 in x5921 a book 5612 out of [that which is] before 6440 x4480 the priests 3548 the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם: 3881

וְהָיְתָה עִמּוֹ וְקָרָא בוֹ כָּל־יְמֵי חַיָּיו לְמַעַן יִלְמַד לְיִרְאָה אֶת־יְהוָה אֱלֹהָיו לִשְׁמֹר אֶת־כָּל־דִּבְרֵי הַתּוֹרָה הַזֹּאת וְאֶת־הַחֻקִּים הָאֵלֶּה לַעֲשֹׂתָם

 17:19 And it shall be x1961 with x5973 him, and he shall read 7121 z8804 therein all x3605 the days 3117 of his life: 2416 that x4616 he may learn 3925 z8799 to fear 3372 z8800 x853 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 his ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים, 430 to keep 8104 z8800 x853 all x3605 the words 1697 of this x2063 law 8451 and these x428 statutes, 2706 to do 6213 z8800 them:

לְבִלְתִּי רוּם־לְבָבוֹ מֵאֶחָיו וּלְבִלְתִּי סוּר מִן־הַמִּצְוָה יָמִין וּשְׂמֹאול לְמַעַן יַאֲרִיךְ יָמִים עַל־מַמְלַכְתּוֹ הוּא וּבָנָיו בְּקֶרֶב יִשְׂרָאֵל ס

 17:20 l'vil'Tiy rûm-l'vävô mëechäyw ûl'vil'Tiy šûr min-haMitz'wäh yämiyn ûs'mowl l'maan yaáriykh' yämiym al-mam'lakh'Tô hû ûvänäyw B'qerev yis'räël š

 17:20 That his heart 3824 be not x1115 lifted up 7311 z8800 above his brethren, 251 x4480 and that he turn not aside 5493 z8800 x1115 from x4480 the commandment, 4687 [to] the right hand, 3225 or [to] the left: 8040 to the end that x4616 he may prolong 748 z8686 [his] days 3117 in x5921 his kingdom, 4467 he, x1931 and his children, 1121 in the midst 7130 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל. 3478
