 25:1 Kiy-yih'yeh riyv Bëyn ánäshiym w'niG'shû el-haMish'Päţ ûsh'fäţûm w'hitz'Diyqû et-haTZaDiyq w'hir'shiyû et-häräshä

 25:1 ¶ If x3588 there be x1961 a controversy 7379 between x996 men, y582 x376 and they come 5066 z8738 unto x413 judgment, 4941 that [the judges] may judge 8199 z8804 them; then they shall justify 6663 z8689 x853 the righteous, 6662 and condemn 7561 z8689 x853 the wicked. 7563

וְהָיָה אִם־בִּן הַכּוֹת הָרָשָׁע וְהִפִּילוֹ הַשֹּׁפֵט וְהִכָּהוּ לְפָנָיו כְּדֵי רִשְׁעָתוֹ בְּמִסְפָּר

 25:2 w'häyäh im-Bin haKôt häräshä w'hiPiylô haSHofëţ w'hiKähû l'fänäyw K'dëy rish'ätô B'miš'Pär

 25:2 And it shall be, x1961 if x518 the wicked x7563 man y7563 [be] worthy y1121 to be beaten, 5221 z8687 x1121 that the judge 8199 z8802 shall cause him to lie down, 5307 z8689 and to be beaten 5221 z8689 before his face, 6440 according y1767 to x1767 his fault, 7564 by a certain number. 4557

אַרְבָּעִים יַכֶּנּוּ לֹא יֹסִיף פֶּן־יֹסִיף לְהַכֹּתוֹ עַל־אֵלֶּה מַכָּה רַבָּה וְנִקְלָה אָחִיךָ לְעֵינֶיךָ ס

 25:3 ar'Bäiym yaKeNû lo yošiyf Pen-yošiyf l'haKotô al-ëLeh maKäh raBäh w'niq'läh ächiykhä l'ëyneykhä š

לֹא־תַחְסֹם שׁוֹר בְּדִישׁוֹ ס

 25:4 lo-tach'šom shôr B'diyshô š

 25:4 ¶ Thou shalt not x3808 muzzle 2629 z8799 the ox 7794 when he treadeth out y1778 z8800 x1758 [the corn].

כִּי־יֵשְׁבוּ אַחִים יַחְדָּו וּמֵת אַחַד מֵהֶם וּבֵן אֵין־לוֹ לֹא־תִהְיֶה אֵשֶׁת־הַמֵּת הַחוּצָה לְאִישׁ זָר יְבָמָהּ יָבֹא עָלֶיהָ וּלְקָחָהּ לוֹ לְאִשָּׁה וְיִבְּמָהּ

 25:5 Kiy-yësh'vû achiym yach'Däw ûmët achad mëhem ûvën ëyn-lô lo-tih'yeh ëshet-haMët hachûtzäh l'iysh zär y'vämäH yävo äleyhä ûl'qächäH lô l'iSHäh w'yiB'mäH

 25:5 ¶ If x3588 brethren 251 dwell 3427 z8799 together, 3162 and one 259 of x4480 them die, 4191 z8804 and have no x369 child, 1121 the wife 802 of the dead 4191 z8801 shall not x3808 marry x1961 without 2351 unto a stranger: 376 2114 z8801 her husband's brother 2993 shall go in 935 z8799 unto x5921 her, and take 3947 z8804 her to him to wife, 802 and perform the duty of an husband's brother 2992 z8762 unto her.

וְהָיָה הַבְּכוֹר אֲשֶׁר תֵּלֵד יָקוּם עַל־שֵׁם אָחִיו הַמֵּת וְלֹא־יִמָּחֶה שְׁמוֹ מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל

 25:6 w'häyäh haB'khôr ásher Tëlëd yäqûm al-shëm ächiyw haMët w'lo-yiMächeh sh'mô miYis'räël

וְאִם־לֹא יַחְפֹּץ הָאִישׁ לָקַחַת אֶת־יְבִמְתּוֹ וְעָלְתָה יְבִמְתּוֹ הַשַּׁעְרָה אֶל־הַזְּקֵנִים וְאָמְרָה מֵאֵין יְבָמִי לְהָקִים לְאָחִיו שֵׁם בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל לֹא אָבָה יַבְּמִי

 25:7 w'im-lo yach'Potz häiysh läqachat et-y'vim'Tô w'äl'täh y'vim'Tô haSHa'räh el-haZ'qëniym w'äm'räh mëëyn y'vämiy l'häqiym l'ächiyw shëm B'yis'räël lo äväh yaB'miy

 25:7 And if x518 the man 376 like 2654 z8799 not x3808 to take 3947 z8800 x853 his brother's wife, 2994 then let his brother's wife 2994 go up 5927 z8804 to the gate 8179 unto x413 the elders, 2205 and say, 559 z8804 My husband's brother 2993 refuseth 3985 z8765 to raise up 6965 z8687 unto his brother 251 a name 8034 in Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 he will 14 z8804 not x3808 perform the duty of my husband's brother. 2992 z8763

וְקָרְאוּ־לוֹ זִקְנֵי־עִירוֹ וְדִבְּרוּ אֵלָיו וְעָמַד וְאָמַר לֹא חָפַצְתִּי לְקַחְתָּהּ

 25:8 w'qär'û-lô ziq'nëy-iyrô w'diB'rû ëläyw w'ämad w'ämar lo chäfatz'Tiy l'qach'TäH

 25:8 Then the elders 2205 of his city 5892 shall call 7121 z8804 him, and speak 1696 z8765 unto x413 him: and [if] he stand 5975 z8804 [to it], and say, 559 z8804 I like 2654 z8804 not x3808 to take 3947 z8800 her;

וְנִגְּשָׁה יְבִמְתּוֹ אֵלָיו לְעֵינֵי הַזְּקֵנִים וְחָלְצָה נַעֲלוֹ מֵעַל רַגְלוֹ וְיָרְקָה בְּפָנָיו וְעָנְתָה וְאָמְרָה כָּכָה יֵעָשֶׂה לָאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יִבְנֶה אֶת־בֵּית אָחִיו

 25:9 w'niG'shäh y'vim'Tô ëläyw l'ëynëy haZ'qëniym w'chäl'tzäh naálô mëal rag'lô w'yär'qäh B'fänäyw w'än'täh w'äm'räh Käkhäh yëäseh läiysh ásher lo-yiv'neh et-Bëyt ächiyw

 25:9 Then shall his brother's wife 2994 come 5066 z8738 unto x413 him in the presence 5869 of the elders, 2205 and loose 2502 z8804 his shoe 5275 from off x4480 x5921 his foot, 7272 and spit 3417 z8804 in his face, 6440 and shall answer 6030 z8804 and say, 559 z8804 So x3602 shall it be done 6213 z8735 unto that man 376 that x834 will not x3808 build up 1129 z8799 x853 his brother's 251 house. 1004

וְנִקְרָא שְׁמוֹ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל בֵּית חֲלוּץ הַנָּעַל ס

 25:10 w'niq'rä sh'mô B'yis'räël Bëyt chálûtz haNäal š

 25:10 And his name 8034 shall be called 7121 z8738 in Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 The house 1004 of him that hath his shoe 5275 loosed. 2502 z8803

כִּי־יִנָּצוּ אֲנָשִׁים יַחְדָּו אִישׁ וְאָחִיו וְקָרְבָה אֵשֶׁת הָאֶחָד לְהַצִּיל אֶת־אִישָּׁהּ מִיַּד מַכֵּהוּ וְשָׁלְחָה יָדָהּ וְהֶחֱזִיקָה בִּמְבֻשָׁיו

 25:11 Kiy-yiNätzû ánäshiym yach'Däw iysh w'ächiyw w'qär'väh ëshet häechäd l'haTZiyl et-iySHäH miYad maKëhû w'shäl'chäh yädäH w'hechéziyqäh Bim'vushäyw

 25:11 ¶ When x3588 men y582 x376 strive 5327 z8735 together 3162 one x376 with another, 251 y376 and the wife 802 of the one 259 draweth near 7126 z8804 for to deliver 5337 z8687 x853 her husband 376 out of the hand 3027 x4480 of him that smiteth 5221 z8688 him, and putteth forth 7971 z8804 her hand, 3027 and taketh 2388 z8689 him by the secrets: 4016

וְקַצֹּתָה אֶת־כַּפָּהּ לֹא תָחוֹס עֵינֶךָ ס

 25:12 w'qaTZotäh et-KaPäH lo tächôš ëynekhä š

 25:12 Then thou shalt cut off 7112 z8804 x853 her hand, 3709 thine eye 5869 shall not x3808 pity 2347 z8799 [her].

לֹא־יִהְיֶה לְךָ בְּכִיסְךָ אֶבֶן וָאָבֶן גְּדוֹלָה וּקְטַנָּה ס

 25:13 lo-yih'yeh l'khä B'khiyš'khä even wääven G'dôläh ûq'ţaNäh š

 25:13 ¶ Thou shalt not x3808 have x1961 in thy bag 3599 divers weights, 68 a great 1419 and a small. 6996

לֹא־יִהְיֶה לְךָ בְּבֵיתְךָ אֵיפָה וְאֵיפָה גְּדוֹלָה וּקְטַנָּה

 25:14 lo-yih'yeh l'khä B'vëyt'khä ëyfäh w'ëyfäh G'dôläh ûq'ţaNäh

 25:14 Thou shalt not x3808 have x1961 in thine house 1004 divers measures, 374 a great 1419 and a small. 6996

אֶבֶן שְׁלֵמָה וָצֶדֶק יִהְיֶה־לָּךְ אֵיפָה שְׁלֵמָה וָצֶדֶק יִהְיֶה־לָּךְ לְמַעַן יַאֲרִיכוּ יָמֶיךָ עַל הָאֲדָמָה אֲשֶׁר־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לָךְ

 25:15 even sh'lëmäh wätzedeq yih'yeh-Läkh' ëyfäh sh'lëmäh wätzedeq yih'yeh-Läkh' l'maan yaáriykhû yämeykhä al häádämäh ásher-y'hwäh éloheykhä notën läkh'

 25:15 [But] thou shalt have x1961 a perfect 8003 and just 6664 weight, 68 a perfect 8003 and just 6664 measure 374 shalt thou have: x1961 that x4616 thy days 3117 may be lengthened 748 z8686 in x5921 the land 127 which x834 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 giveth 5414 z8802 thee.

כִּי תוֹעֲבַת יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ כָּל־עֹשֵׂה אֵלֶּה כֹּל עֹשֵׂה עָוֶל פ

 25:16 Kiy tôávat y'hwäh éloheykhä Käl-osëh ëLeh Kol osëh äwel f

 25:16 For x3588 all x3605 that do 6213 z8802 such things, 428 [and] all x3605 that do 6213 z8802 unrighteously, 5766 [are] an abomination 8441 unto Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים. 430

זָכוֹר אֵת אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂה לְךָ עֲמָלֵק בַּדֶּרֶךְ בְּצֵאתְכֶם מִמִּצְרָיִם

 25:17 zäkhôr ët ásher-äsäh l'khä ámälëq BaDerekh' B'tzët'khem miMitz'räyim

 25:17 ¶ Remember 2142 z8800 x853 what x834 `Ámälëk עֲמָלֵק 6002 did 6213 z8804 unto thee by the way, 1870 when ye were come forth 3318 z8800 out of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם; 4714 x4480

אֲשֶׁר קָרְךָ בַּדֶּרֶךְ וַיְזַנֵּב בְּךָ כָּל־הַנֶּחֱשָׁלִים אַחַרֶיךָ וְאַתָּה עָיֵף וְיָגֵעַ וְלֹא יָרֵא אֱלֹהִים

וְהָיָה בְּהָנִיחַ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ לְךָ מִכָּל־אֹיְבֶיךָ מִסָּבִיב בָּאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר יְהוָה־אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לְךָ נַחֲלָה לְרִשְׁתָּהּ תִּמְחֶה אֶת־זֵכֶר עֲמָלֵק מִתַּחַת הַשָּׁמָיִם לֹא תִּשְׁכָּח פ

 25:19 w'häyäh B'häniyªch y'hwäh éloheykhä l'khä miKäl-oy'veykhä miŠäviyv Bääretz ásher y'hwäh-éloheykhä notën l'khä nacháläh l'rish'TäH Tim'cheh et-zëkher ámälëq miTachat haSHämäyim lo Tish'Käch f

 25:19 Therefore it shall be, x1961 when Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 hath given thee rest 5117 z8687 from all x4480 x3605 thine enemies 341 z8802 round about, 5439 x4480 in the land 776 which x834 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 giveth 5414 z8802 thee [for] an inheritance 5159 to possess 3423 z8800 it, [that] thou shalt blot out 4229 z8799 x853 the remembrance 2143 of `Ámälëk עֲמָלֵק 6002 from under x4480 x8478 heaven; 8064 thou shalt not x3808 forget 7911 z8799 [it].
