הֲזֹאת חָשַׁבְתָּ לְמִשְׁפָּט אָמַרְתָּ צִדְקִי מֵאֵל

 35:2 házot chäshav'Tä l'mish'Päţ ämar'Tä tzid'qiy mëël

 35:2 Thinkest 2803 z8804 thou this x2063 to be right, 4941 [that] thou saidst, 559 z8804 My righteousness 6664 [is] more than ´Ël's אֵל? 410 x4480

כִּי־תֹאמַר מַה־יִּסְכָּן־לָךְ מָה־אֹעִיל מֵחַטָּאתִי

 35:3 Kiy-tomar mah-Yiš'Kän-läkh' mäh-oiyl mëchaŢätiy

 35:3 For x3588 thou saidst, 559 z8799 What x4100 advantage 5532 z8799 will it be unto thee? [and], What x4100 profit 3276 z8686 shall I have, [if I be cleansed] from my sin? 2403 x4480

אֲנִי אֲשִׁיבְךָ מִלִּין וְאֶת־רֵעֶיךָ עִמָּךְ

 35:4 ániy áshiyv'khä miLiyn w'et-rëeykhä iMäkh'

 35:4 I x589 will answer 7725 4405 z8686 thee, and thy companions 7453 with x5973 thee.

הַבֵּט שָׁמַיִם וּרְאֵה וְשׁוּר שְׁחָקִים גָּבְהוּ מִמֶּךָּ

 35:5 haBëţ shämayim ûr'ëh w'shûr sh'chäqiym Gäv'hû miMeKä

 35:5 Look 5027 z8685 unto the heavens, 8064 and see; 7200 z8798 and behold 7789 z8798 the clouds 7834 [which] are higher 1361 z8804 than x4480 thou.

אִם־חָטָאתָ מַה־תִּפְעָל־בּוֹ וְרַבּוּ פְשָׁעֶיךָ מַה־תַּעֲשֶׂה־לּוֹ

 35:6 im-chäţätä mah-Tif'äl-Bô w'raBû f'shäeykhä mah-Taáseh-Lô

אִם־צָדַקְתָּ מַה־תִּתֶּן־לוֹ אוֹ מַה־מִיָּדְךָ יִקָּח

 35:7 im-tzädaq'Tä mah-TiTen-lô ô mah-miYäd'khä yiQäch

 35:7 If x518 thou be righteous, 6663 z8804 what x4100 givest 5414 z8799 thou him? or x176 what x4100 receiveth 3947 z8799 he of thine hand? 3027 x4480

לְאִישׁ־כָּמוֹךָ רִשְׁעֶךָ וּלְבֶן־אָדָם צִדְקָתֶךָ

 35:8 l'iysh-Kämôkhä rish'ekhä ûl'ven-ädäm tzid'qätekhä

 35:8 Thy wickedness 7562 [may hurt] a man 376 as thou x3644 [art]; and thy righteousness 6666 [may profit] the son 1121 of man. 120

מֵרֹב עֲשׁוּקִים יַזְעִיקוּ יְשַׁוְּעוּ מִזְּרוֹעַ רַבִּים

 35:9 mërov áshûqiym yaz'iyqû y'shaû'û miZ'rôª raBiym

 35:9 By reason of the multitude 7230 x4480 of oppressions 6217 they make [the oppressed] to cry: 2199 z8686 they cry out 7768 z8762 by reason of the arm 2220 x4480 of the mighty. 7227

וְלֹא־אָמַר אַיֵּה אֱלוֹהַּ עֹשָׂי נֹתֵן זְמִרוֹת בַּלָּיְלָה

 35:10 w'lo-ämar aYëh élôHa osäy notën z'mirôt BaLäy'läh

 35:10 But none x3808 saith, 559 z8804 Where x346 [is] ´Élôåh אֱלוֹהַ 433 my maker, 6213 z8802 who giveth 5414 z8802 songs 2158 in the night; 3915

מַלְּפֵנוּ מִבַּהֲמוֹת אָרֶץ וּמֵעוֹף הַשָּׁמַיִם יְחַכְּמֵנוּ

 35:11 maL'fënû miBahámôt äretz ûmëôf haSHämayim y'chaK'mënû

 35:11 Who teacheth 502 z8764 us more than the beasts 929 x4480 of the earth, 776 and maketh us wiser 2449 z8762 than the fowls 5775 x4480 of heaven? 8064

שָׁם יִצְעֲקוּ וְלֹא יַעֲנֶה מִפְּנֵי גְּאוֹן רָעִים

 35:12 shäm yitz'áqû w'lo yaáneh miP'nëy G'ôn räiym

 35:12 There x8033 they cry, 6817 z8799 but none x3808 giveth answer, 6030 z8799 because 6440 x4480 of the pride 1347 of evil men. 7451

אַךְ־שָׁוְא לֹא־יִשְׁמַע אֵל וְשַׁדַּי לֹא יְשׁוּרֶנָּה

 35:13 akh'-shäw' lo-yish'ma ël w'shaDay lo y'shûreNäh

 35:13 Surely x389 ´Ël אֵל 410 will not x3808 hear 8085 z8799 vanity, 7723 neither x3808 will Šadday שַׁדַּי 7706 regard 7789 z8799 it.

אַף כִּי־תֹאמַר לֹא תְשׁוּרֶנּוּ דִּין לְפָנָיו וּתְחוֹלֵל לוֹ

 35:14 af Kiy-tomar lo t'shûreNû Diyn l'fänäyw ût'chôlël lô

 35:14 Although 637 x3588 thou sayest 559 z8799 thou shalt not x3808 see 7789 z8799 him, [yet] judgment 1779 [is] before 6440 him; therefore trust 2342 z8787 thou in him.

וְעַתָּה כִּי־אַיִן פָּקַד אַפּוֹ וְלֹא־יָדַע בַּפַּשׁ מְאֹד

 35:15 w'aTäh Kiy-ayin Päqad aPô w'lo-yäda BaPash m'od

וְאִיּוֹב הֶבֶל יִפְצֶה־פִּיהוּ בִּבְלִי־דַעַת מִלִּין יַכְבִּר פ

 35:16 w'iYôv hevel yif'tzeh-Piyhû Biv'liy-daat miLiyn yakh'Bir f

 35:16 Therefore doth ´Iyyôv אִיּוֹב 347 open 6475 z8799 his mouth 6310 in vain; 1892 he multiplieth 3527 z8686 words 4405 without 1097 knowledge. 1847
