אָמְנָם כִּי אַתֶּם־עָם וְעִמָּכֶם תָּמוּת חָכְמָה

 12:2 äm'näm Kiy aTem-äm w'iMäkhem Tämût chäkh'mäh

 12:2 No doubt 551 but x3588 ye x859 [are] the people, 5971 and wisdom 2451 shall die 4191 z8799 with x5973 you.

גַּם־לִי לֵבָב כְּמוֹכֶם לֹא־נֹפֵל אָנֹכִי מִכֶּם וְאֶת־מִי־אֵין כְּמוֹ־אֵלֶּה

 12:3 Gam-liy lëväv K'môkhem lo-nofël änokhiy miKem w'et-miy-ëyn K'mô-ëLeh

 12:3 But 1571 I have understanding 3824 as well as you; x3644 I x595 [am] not x3808 inferior 5307 z8802 to x4480 you: yea, x854 who x4310 knoweth not x369 such things y3644 as these? x3644 x428

שְׂחֹק לְרֵעֵהוּ אֶהְיֶה קֹרֵא לֶאֱלוֹהַּ וַיַּעֲנֵהוּ שְׂחוֹק צַדִּיק תָּמִים

 12:4 s'choq l'rëëhû eh'yeh qorë leélôHa waYaánëhû s'chôq tzaDiyq Tämiym

 12:4 I am x1961 [as] one mocked 7814 of his neighbour, 7453 who calleth 7121 z8802 upon ´Élôåh אֱלוֹהַ, 433 and he answereth 6030 z8799 him: the just 6662 upright 8549 [man is] laughed to scorn. 7814

לַפִּיד בּוּז לְעַשְׁתּוּת שַׁאֲנָן נָכוֹן לְמוֹעֲדֵי רָגֶל

 12:5 laPiyd Bûz l'ash'Tût shaánän näkhôn l'môádëy rägel

 12:5 He that is ready 3559 z8737 to slip 4571 z8802 with [his] feet 7272 [is as] a lamp 3940 despised 937 in the thought 6248 of him that is at ease. 7600

יִשְׁלָיוּ אֹהָלִים לְשֹׁדְדִים וּבַטֻּחוֹת לְמַרְגִּיזֵי אֵל לַאֲשֶׁר הֵבִיא אֱלוֹהַּ בְּיָדוֹ

 12:6 yish'läyû ohäliym l'shod'diym ûvaŢuchôt l'mar'Giyzëy ël laásher hëviy élôHa B'yädô

 12:6 The tabernacles 168 of robbers 7703 z8802 prosper, 7951 z8799 and they that provoke 7264 z8688 ´Ël אֵל 410 are secure; 987 into whose x834 hand 3027 ´Élôåh אֱלוֹהַ 433 bringeth 935 z8689 [abundantly].

וְאוּלָם שְׁאַל־נָא בְהֵמוֹת וְתֹרֶךָּ וְעוֹף הַשָּׁמַיִם וְיַגֶּד־לָךְ

 12:7 w'ûläm sh'al-nä v'hëmôt w'toreKä w'ôf haSHämayim w'yaGed-läkh'

 12:7 But 199 ask 7592 z8798 now x4994 the beasts, 929 and they shall teach 3384 z8686 thee; and the fowls 5775 of the air, 8064 and they shall tell 5046 z8686 thee:

אוֹ שִׂיחַ לָאָרֶץ וְתֹרֶךָּ וִיסַפְּרוּ לְךָ דְּגֵי הַיָּם

 12:8 ô siyªch lääretz w'toreKä wiyšaP'rû l'khä D'gëy haYäm

 12:8 Or x176 speak 7878 z8798 to the earth, 776 and it shall teach 3384 z8686 thee: and the fishes 1709 of the sea 3220 shall declare 5608 z8762 unto thee.

מִי לֹא־יָדַע בְּכָל־אֵלֶּה כִּי יַד־יְהוָה עָשְׂתָה זֹּאת

 12:9 miy lo-yäda B'khäl-ëLeh Kiy yad-y'hwäh äs'täh Zot

 12:9 Who x4310 knoweth 3045 z8804 not x3808 in all x3605 these x428 that x3588 the hand 3027 of Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 hath wrought 6213 z8804 this? x2063

אֲשֶׁר בְּיָדוֹ נֶפֶשׁ כָּל־חָי וְרוּחַ כָּל־בְּשַׂר־אִישׁ

 12:10 ásher B'yädô nefesh Käl-chäy w'rûªch Käl-B'sar-iysh

הֲלֹא־אֹזֶן מִלִּין תִּבְחָן וְחֵךְ אֹכֶל יִטְעַם־לוֹ

 12:11 hálo-ozen miLiyn Tiv'chän w'chëkh' okhel yiţ'am-lô

 12:11 Doth not x3808 the ear 241 try 974 z8799 words? 4405 and the mouth 2441 taste 2938 z8799 his meat? 400

בִּישִׁישִׁים חָכְמָה וְאֹרֶךְ יָמִים תְּבוּנָה

 12:12 Biyshiyshiym chäkh'mäh w'orekh' yämiym T'vûnäh

 12:12 With the ancient 3453 [is] wisdom; 2451 and in length 753 of days 3117 understanding. 8394

עִמּוֹ חָכְמָה וּגְבוּרָה לוֹ עֵצָה וּתְבוּנָה

 12:13 iMô chäkh'mäh ûg'vûräh lô ëtzäh ût'vûnäh

 12:13 With x5973 him [is] wisdom 2451 and strength, 1369 he hath counsel 6098 and understanding. 8394

הֵן יַהֲרוֹס וְלֹא יִבָּנֶה יִסְגֹּר עַל־אִישׁ וְלֹא יִפָּתֵחַ

 12:14 hën yahárôš w'lo yiBäneh yiš'Gor al-iysh w'lo yiPätëªch

הֵן יַעְצֹר בַּמַּיִם וְיִבָשׁוּ וִישַׁלְּחֵם וְיַהַפְכוּ אָרֶץ

 12:15 hën ya'tzor BaMayim w'yiväshû wiyshaL'chëm w'yahaf'khû äretz

 12:15 Behold, x2005 he withholdeth 6113 z8799 the waters, 4325 and they dry up: 3001 z8799 also he sendeth them out, 7971 z8762 and they overturn 2015 z8799 the earth. 776

עִמּוֹ עֹז וְתוּשִׁיָּה לוֹ שֹׁגֵג וּמַשְׁגֶּה

 12:16 iMô oz w'tûshiYäh lô shogëg ûmash'Geh

 12:16 With x5973 him [is] strength 5797 and wisdom: 8454 the deceived 7683 z8802 and the deceiver 7686 z8688 [are] his.

מוֹלִיךְ יוֹעֲצִים שׁוֹלָל וְשֹׁפְטִים יְהוֹלֵל

 12:17 môliykh' yôátziym shôläl w'shof'ţiym y'hôlël

 12:17 He leadeth y3212 z8688 x1980 counsellors 3289 z8802 away spoiled, 7758 and maketh the judges 8199 z8802 fools. 1984 z8779

מוּסַר מְלָכִים פִּתֵּחַ וַיֶּאְסֹר אֵזוֹר בְּמָתְנֵיהֶם

 12:18 mûšar m'läkhiym PiTëªch waYe'šor ëzôr B'mät'nëyhem

 12:18 He looseth 6605 z8765 the bond 4148 of kings, 4428 and girdeth 631 z8799 their loins 4975 with a girdle. 232

מוֹלִיךְ כֹּהֲנִים שׁוֹלָל וְאֵתָנִים יְסַלֵּף

 12:19 môliykh' Kohániym shôläl w'ëtäniym y'šaLëf

 12:19 He leadeth y3212 z8688 x1980 princes 3548 away spoiled, 7758 and overthroweth 5557 z8762 the mighty. 386

מֵסִיר שָׂפָה לְנֶאֱמָנִים וְטַעַם זְקֵנִים יִקָּח

 12:20 mëšiyr säfäh l'neémäniym w'ţaam z'qëniym yiQäch

 12:20 He removeth away 5493 z8688 the speech 8193 of the trusty, 539 z8737 and taketh away 3947 z8799 the understanding 2940 of the aged. 2205

שׁוֹפֵךְ בּוּז עַל־נְדִיבִים וּמְזִיחַ אֲפִיקִים רִפָּה

 12:21 shôfëkh' Bûz al-n'diyviym ûm'ziyªch áfiyqiym riPäh

 12:21 He poureth 8210 z8802 contempt 937 upon x5921 princes, 5081 and weakeneth 7503 z8765 the strength 4206 of the mighty. 650

מְגַלֶּה עֲמֻקוֹת מִנִּי־חֹשֶׁךְ וַיֹּצֵא לָאוֹר צַלְמָוֶת

 12:22 m'gaLeh ámuqôt miNiy-choshekh' waYotzë läôr tzal'mäwet

 12:22 He discovereth 1540 z8764 deep things 6013 out of x4480 darkness, 2822 and bringeth out 3318 z8686 to light 216 the shadow of death. 6757

מַשְׂגִּיא לַגּוֹיִם וַיְאַבְּדֵם שֹׁטֵחַ לַגּוֹיִם וַיַּנְחֵם

 12:23 mas'Giy laGôyim way'aB'dëm shoţëªch laGôyim waYan'chëm

 12:23 He increaseth 7679 z8688 the nations, 1471 and destroyeth 6 z8762 them: he enlargeth 7849 z8802 the nations, 1471 and straiteneth 5148 z8686 them [again].

מֵסִיר לֵב רָאשֵׁי עַם־הָאָרֶץ וַיַּתְעֵם בְּתֹהוּ לֹא־דָרֶךְ

 12:24 mëšiyr lëv räshëy am-hääretz waYat'ëm B'tohû lo-därekh'

 12:24 He taketh away 5493 z8688 the heart 3820 of the chief 7218 of the people 5971 of the earth, 776 and causeth them to wander 8582 z8686 in a wilderness 8414 [where there is] no x3808 way. 1870

יְמַשְׁשׁוּ־חֹשֶׁךְ וְלֹא־אוֹר וַיַּתְעֵם כַּשִּׁכּוֹר

 12:25 y'mash'shû-choshekh' w'lo-ôr waYat'ëm KaSHiKôr

 12:25 They grope 4959 z8762 in the dark 2822 without x3808 light, 216 and he maketh them to stagger 8582 z8686 like [a] drunken 7910 [man].
