 16:4 ¶ Then said 559 z8799 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 unto x413 Möšè מֹשֶׁה, 4872 Behold, x2009 I will rain 4305 z8688 bread 3899 from x4480 heaven 8064 for you; and the people 5971 shall go out 3318 z8804 and gather 3950 z8804 a certain rate y1697 every day, 3117 x1697 that x4616 I may prove 5254 z8762 them, whether they will walk y3212 z8799 x1980 in my law, 8451 or x518 no. x3808

וְהָיָה בַּיּוֹם הַשִּׁשִּׁי וְהֵכִינוּ אֵת אֲשֶׁר־יָבִיאוּ וְהָיָה מִשְׁנֶה עַל אֲשֶׁר־יִלְקְטוּ יוֹם יוֹם ס

וּבֹקֶר וּרְאִיתֶם אֶת־כְּבוֹד יְהוָה בְּשָׁמְעוֹ אֶת־תְּלֻנֹּתֵיכֶם עַל־יְהוָה וְנַחְנוּ מָה כִּי *תַלּוֹנוּ [תַלִּינוּ] עָלֵינוּ

וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה בְּתֵת יְהוָה לָכֶם בָּעֶרֶב בָּשָׂר לֶאֱכֹל וְלֶחֶם בַּבֹּקֶר לִשְׂבֹּעַ בִּשְׁמֹעַ יְהוָה אֶת־תְּלֻנֹּתֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר־אַתֶּם מַלִּינִם עָלָיו וְנַחְנוּ מָה לֹא־עָלֵינוּ תְלֻנֹּתֵיכֶם כִּי עַל־יְהוָה

 16:9 ¶ And Möšè מֹשֶׁה 4872 spake 559 z8799 unto x413 ´Ahárön אַהֲרֹן, 175 Say 559 z8798 unto x413 all x3605 the congregation 5712 of the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 Come near 7126 z8798 before 6440 Yähwè יָהוֶה: 3068 for x3588 he hath heard 8085 z8804 x853 your murmurings. 8519

וַיְהִי כְּדַבֵּר אַהֲרֹן אֶל־כָּל־עֲדַת בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיִּפְנוּ אֶל־הַמִּדְבָּר וְהִנֵּה כְּבוֹד יְהוָה נִרְאָה בֶּעָנָן פ

שָׁמַעְתִּי אֶת־תְּלוּנֹּת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל דַּבֵּר אֲלֵהֶם לֵאמֹר בֵּין הָעַרְבַּיִם תֹּאכְלוּ בָשָׂר וּבַבֹּקֶר תִּשְׂבְּעוּ־לָחֶם וִידַעְתֶּם כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם

 16:12 shäma'Tiy et-T'lûNot B'nëy yis'räël DaBër álëhem lëmor Bëyn häar'Bayim Tokh'lû väsär ûvaBoqer Tis'B'û-lächem wiyda'Tem Kiy ániy y'hwäh élohëykhem

 16:12 I have heard 8085 z8804 x853 the murmurings 8519 of the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל: 3478 speak 1696 z8761 unto x413 them, saying, 559 z8800 At x996 even 6153 y996 ye shall eat 398 z8799 flesh, 1320 and in the morning 1242 ye shall be filled 7646 z8799 with bread; 3899 and ye shall know 3045 z8804 that x3588 I x589 [am] Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 your ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים. 430

וַיְהִי בָעֶרֶב וַתַּעַל הַשְּׂלָו וַתְּכַס אֶת־הַמַּחֲנֶה וּבַבֹּקֶר הָיְתָה שִׁכְבַת הַטַּל סָבִיב לַמַּחֲנֶה

וַתַּעַל שִׁכְבַת הַטָּל וְהִנֵּה עַל־פְּנֵי הַמִּדְבָּר דַּק מְחֻסְפָּס דַּק כַּכְּפֹר עַל־הָאָרֶץ

 16:14 waTaal shikh'vat haŢäl w'hiNëh al-P'nëy haMid'Bär Daq m'chuš'Päš Daq KaK'for al-hääretz

 16:14 And when the dew 2919 that lay 7902 was gone up, 5927 z8799 behold, x2009 upon x5921 the face 6440 of the wilderness 4057 [there lay] a small 1851 round thing, 2636 z8794 [as] small 1851 as the hoar frost 3713 on x5921 the ground. 776

וַיִּרְאוּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיֹּאמְרוּ אִישׁ אֶל־אָחִיו מָן הוּא כִּי לֹא יָדְעוּ מַה־הוּא וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אֲלֵהֶם הוּא הַלֶּחֶם אֲשֶׁר נָתַן יְהוָה לָכֶם לְאָכְלָה

 16:15 And when the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 saw 7200 z8799 [it], they said 559 z8799 one 376 to x413 another, 251 It x1931 [is] manna: 4478 for x3588 they wist 3045 z8804 not x3808 what x4100 it x1931 [was]. And Möšè מֹשֶׁה 4872 said 559 z8799 unto x413 them, This x1931 [is] the bread 3899 which x834 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 hath given 5414 z8804 you to eat. 402

זֶה הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה לִקְטוּ מִמֶּנּוּ אִישׁ לְפִי אָכְלוֹ עֹמֶר לַגֻּלְגֹּלֶת מִסְפַּר נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶם אִישׁ לַאֲשֶׁר בְּאָהֳלוֹ תִּקָּחוּ

וַיַּעֲשׂוּ־כֵן בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיִּלְקְטוּ הַמַּרְבֶּה וְהַמַּמְעִיט

וַיָּמֹדּוּ בָעֹמֶר וְלֹא הֶעְדִּיף הַמַּרְבֶּה וְהַמַּמְעִיט לֹא הֶחְסִיר אִישׁ לְפִי־אָכְלוֹ לָקָטוּ

וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אֲלֵהֶם אִישׁ אַל־יוֹתֵר מִמֶּנּוּ עַד־בֹּקֶר

 16:19 And Möšè מֹשֶׁה 4872 said, 559 z8799 Let no x408 man 376 leave 3498 z8686 of x4480 it till x5704 the morning. 1242

וְלֹא־שָׁמְעוּ אֶל־מֹשֶׁה וַיּוֹתִרוּ אֲנָשִׁים מִמֶּנּוּ עַד־בֹּקֶר וַיָּרֻם תּוֹלָעִים וַיִּבְאַשׁ וַיִּקְצֹף עֲלֵהֶם מֹשֶׁה

 16:20 w'lo-shäm'û el-mosheh waYôtirû ánäshiym miMeNû ad-Boqer waYärum Tôläiym waYiv'ash waYiq'tzof álëhem mosheh

 16:20 Notwithstanding they hearkened 8085 z8804 not x3808 unto x413 Möšè מֹשֶׁה; 4872 but some y582 x376 of them left 3498 z8686 of x4480 it until x5704 the morning, 1242 and it bred 7311 z8799 worms, 8438 and stank: 887 z8799 and Möšè מֹשֶׁה 4872 was wroth 7107 z8799 with x5921 them.

וַיִּלְקְטוּ אֹתוֹ בַּבֹּקֶר בַּבֹּקֶר אִישׁ כְּפִי אָכְלוֹ וְחַם הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ וְנָמָס

וַיְהִי בַּיּוֹם הַשִּׁשִּׁי לָקְטוּ לֶחֶם מִשְׁנֶה שְׁנֵי הָעֹמֶר לָאֶחָד וַיָּבֹאוּ כָּל־נְשִׂיאֵי הָעֵדָה וַיַּגִּידוּ לְמֹשֶׁה

 16:23 And he said 559 z8799 unto x413 them, This x1931 [is that] which x834 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 hath said, 1696 z8765 To morrow 4279 [is] the rest 7677 of the holy 6944 sabbath 7676 unto Yähwè יָהוֶה: 3068 bake 644 z8798 [that] x853 which x834 ye will bake 644 z8799 [to day], and seethe 1310 z8761 that x834 ye will seethe; 1310 z8762 and that which 3605 remaineth over 5736 z8802 lay up y3240 z8685 x5117 for you to be kept 4931 until x5704 the morning. 1242

וַיַּנִּיחוּ אֹתוֹ עַד־הַבֹּקֶר כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה מֹשֶׁה וְלֹא הִבְאִישׁ וְרִמָּה לֹא־הָיְתָה בּוֹ

 16:24 waYaNiychû otô ad-haBoqer Kaásher tziûäh mosheh w'lo hiv'iysh w'riMäh lo-häy'täh Bô

 16:24 And they laid it up y3240 z8686 x5117 x853 till x5704 the morning, 1242 as x834 Möšè מֹשֶׁה 4872 bade: 6680 z8765 and it did not x3808 stink, 887 z8689 neither x3808 was x1961 there any worm 7415 therein.

וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אִכְלֻהוּ הַיּוֹם כִּי־שַׁבָּת הַיּוֹם לַיהוָה הַיּוֹם לֹא תִמְצָאֻהוּ בַּשָּׂדֶה

 16:25 And Möšè מֹשֶׁה 4872 said, 559 z8799 Eat 398 z8798 that to day; 3117 for x3588 to day 3117 [is] a sabbath 7676 unto Yähwè יָהוֶה: 3068 to day 3117 ye shall not x3808 find 4672 z8799 it in the field. 7704

שֵׁשֶׁת יָמִים תִּלְקְטֻהוּ וּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי שַׁבָּת לֹא יִהְיֶה־בּוֹ

וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה עַד־אָנָה מֵאַנְתֶּם לִשְׁמֹר מִצְוֹתַי וְתוֹרֹתָי
