Isaiah 62

1 The fervent desire of the prophet to confirm the Church in God's promises. 5 The office of the ministers (unto which they are incited) in preaching the Gospel, 10 and preparing the people thereto.

 62:1 For Zion’s 6726 sake 4616 I will not keep 2814 silent 2814, And for Jerusalem’s 3389 sake 4616 I will not keep 8252 quiet 8252, Until 5704 her righteousness 6664 goes 3318 forth 3318 like brightness 5051, And her salvation 3444 like a torch 3940 that is burning 1197a.

 62:2 The nations 1471 will see 7200 your righteousness 6664, And all 3605 kings 4428 your glory 3519b; And you will be called 7121 by a new 2319 name 8034 Which 834 the mouth 6310 of the LORD 3068 will designate 5344a.

 62:3 You will also be a crown 5850 of beauty 8597 in the hand 3027 of the LORD 3068, And a royal 4410 diadem 6797 in the hand 3709 of your God 430.

 62:4 It will no 3808 longer 5750 be said 559 to you, “Forsaken 5800a,” Nor 3808 to your land 776 will it any 5750 longer 5750 be said 559, “Desolate 8077”; But you will be called 7121, “My delight 2656 is in her,” And your land 776, “Married 1166”; For the LORD 3068 delights 2654a in you, And [to Him] your land 776 will be married 1166.

 62:5 For [as] a young 970 man 970 marries 1166 a virgin 1330, [So] your sons 1121 will marry 1166 you; And [as] the bridegroom 2860a rejoices 4885 over 5921 the bride 3618, [So] your God 430 will rejoice 7797 over 5921 you.

 62:6 ¶ On your walls 2346, O Jerusalem 3389, I have appointed 6485 watchmen 8104; All 3605 day 3117 and all 3605 night 3915 they will never 3808 keep 2814 silent 2814. You who remind 2142 the LORD 3068, take no 408 rest 1824 for yourselves;

 62:7 And give 5414 Him no 408 rest 1824 until 5704 He establishes 3559 And makes 7760 Jerusalem 3389 a praise 8416 in the earth 776.

 62:8 The LORD 3068 has sworn 7650 by His right 3225 hand 3225 and by His strong 5797 arm 2220, “I will never 518 again 5750 give 5414 your grain 1715 [as] food 3978 for your enemies 340; Nor 518 will foreigners 1121 5236 drink 8354 your new 8492 wine 8492 for which 834 you have labored 3021.”

 62:9 But those who garner 622 it will eat 398 it and praise 1984b the LORD 3068; And those who gather 6908 it will drink 8354 it in the courts 2691a of My sanctuary 6944.

 62:10 ¶ Go 5674a through 5674a, go 5674a through 5674a the gates 8179, Clear 6437 the way 1870 for the people 5971a; Build 5549 up, build 5549 up the highway 4546, Remove 5619 the stones 68, lift 7311 up a standard 5251 over 5921 the peoples 5971a.

 62:11 Behold 2009, the LORD 3068 has proclaimed 8085 to the end 7097a of the earth 776, Say 559 to the daughter 1323 of Zion 6726, “Lo 2009, your salvation 3468 comes 935; Behold 2009 His reward 7939 is with Him, and His recompense 6468 before 6440 Him.”

 62:12 And they will call 7121 them, “The holy 6944 people 5971a, The redeemed 1350 of the LORD 3068”; And you will be called 7121, “Sought 1875 out, a city 5892b not forsaken 5800a.”
