Isaiah 52

1 Christ persuadeth the Church to believe his free redemption, 7 to receive the ministers thereof, 9 to joy in the power thereof, 11 and to free themselves from bondage. 13 Christ's Kingdom shall be exalted.

 52:1 Awake 5782, awake 5782, Clothe 3847 yourself 3847 in your strength 5797, O Zion 6726; Clothe 3847 yourself 3847 in your beautiful 8597 garments 899b, O Jerusalem 3389, the holy 6944 city 5892b; For the uncircumcised 6189 and the unclean 2931 Will no 3808 longer 3254 5750 come 935 into you.

 52:2 Shake 5287 yourself from the dust 6083, rise 6965 up, O captive 7628b Jerusalem 3389; Loose 6605a yourself from the chains 4147 around your neck 6677, O captive 7628a daughter 1323 of Zion 6726.

 52:3 ¶ For thus 3541 says 559 the LORD 3068, “You were sold 4376 for nothing 2600 and you will be redeemed 1350 without 3808 money 3701.”

 52:4 For thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “My people 5971a went 3381 down 3381 at the first 7223 into Egypt 4714 to reside 1481a there 8033; then the Assyrian 804b oppressed 6231 them without 657 cause 657.

 52:5 “Now 6258 therefore, what 4100 do I have here 6311,” declares 5002 the LORD 3068, “seeing that My people 5971a have been taken 3947 away without 2600 cause 2600?” [Again] the LORD 3068 declares 5002, “Those who rule 4910 over them howl 3213, and My name 8034 is continually 8548 blasphemed 5006 all 3605 day 3117 long.

 52:6 “Therefore 3651 My people 5971a shall know 3045 My name 8034; therefore 3651 in that day 3117 I am the one who is speaking 1696, ‘Here 2009 I am.’”

 52:7 ¶ How 4100 lovely 4998 on the mountains 2022 Are the feet 7272 of him who brings 1319 good news 1319, Who announces 8085 peace 7965 And brings 1319 good news 1319 of happiness 2896b, Who announces 8085 salvation 3444, [And] says 559 to Zion 6726, “Your God 430 reigns 4427a!”

 52:8 Listen 6963! Your watchmen 6822 lift 5375 up [their] voices 6963, They shout 7442 joyfully 7442 together 3164a; For they will see 7200 with their own 5869 eyes 5869 When the LORD 3068 restores 7725 Zion 6726.

 52:9 Break 6476 forth 6476, shout 7442 joyfully 7442 together 3164a, You waste 2723 places 2723 of Jerusalem 3389; For the LORD 3068 has comforted 5162 His people 5971a, He has redeemed 1350 Jerusalem 3389.

 52:10 The LORD 3068 has bared 2834 His holy 6944 arm 2220 In the sight 5869 of all 3605 the nations 1471, That all 3605 the ends 657 of the earth 776 may see 7200 The salvation 3444 of our God 430.

 52:11 ¶ Depart 5493, depart 5493, go 3318 out from there 8033, Touch 5060 nothing 408 unclean 2931; Go 3318 out of the midst 8432 of her, purify 1305 yourselves, You who carry 5375 the vessels 3627 of the LORD 3068.

 52:12 But you will not go 3318 out in haste 2649, Nor 3808 will you go 1980 as fugitives 4499; For the LORD 3068 will go 1980 before 6440 you, And the God 430 of Israel 3478 [will be] your rear 622 guard 622.

 52:13 ¶ Behold 2009, My servant 5650 will prosper 7919a, He will be high 7311 and lifted 5375 up and greatly 3966 exalted 1361b.

 52:14 Just 3512c as many 7227a were astonished 8074 at you, [My people], So 3651 His appearance 4758 was marred 4893b more 4480 than 4480 any 376 man 376 And His form 8389 more 4480 than 4480 the sons 1121 of men 120.

 52:15 Thus 3651 He will sprinkle 5137a many 7227a nations 1471, Kings 4428 will shut 7092 their mouths 6310 on account 5921 of Him; For what 834 had not been told 5608 them they will see 7200, And what 834 they had not heard 8085 they will understand 995.
