Isaiah 60

1 The glory of the Church in the abundant access of the Gentiles, 15 and the great blessings after a short affliction.

 60:1 “Arise 6965, shine 215; for your light 216 has come 935, And the glory 3519b of the LORD 3068 has risen 2224 upon you.

 60:2 “For behold 2009, darkness 2822 will cover 3680 the earth 776 And deep 6205 darkness 6205 the peoples 3816; But the LORD 3068 will rise 2224 upon you And His glory 3519b will appear 7200 upon you.

 60:3 “Nations 1471 will come 1980 to your light 216, And kings 4428 to the brightness 5051 of your rising 2225.

 60:4 ¶ “Lift 5375 up your eyes 5869 round 5439 about 5439 and see 7200; They all 3605 gather 6908 together, they come 935 to you. Your sons 1121 will come 935 from afar 7350, And your daughters 1323 will be carried 539 in the arms 6654.

 60:5 “Then 227 you will see 7200 and be radiant 5102b, And your heart 3824 will thrill 6342 and rejoice 7337; Because 3588 the abundance 1995 of the sea 3220 will be turned 2015 to you, The wealth 2428 of the nations 1471 will come 935 to you.

 60:6 “A multitude 8229 of camels 1581 will cover 3680 you, The young 1072 camels 1072 of Midian 4080 and Ephah 5891; All 3605 those from Sheba 7614 will come 935; They will bring 5375 gold 2091 and frankincense 3828, And will bear 1319 good news 1319 of the praises 8416 of the LORD 3068.

 60:7 “All 3605 the flocks 6629 of Kedar 6938 will be gathered 6908 together to you, The rams 352a of Nebaioth 5032 will minister 8334 to you; They will go 5927 up with acceptance 7522 on My altar 4196, And I shall glorify 6286 My glorious 8597 house 1004.

 60:8 “Who 4310 are these 428 who fly 5774a like a cloud 5645 And like the doves 3123 to their lattices 699?

 60:9 “Surely 3588 the coastlands 339 will wait 6960a for Me; And the ships 591 of Tarshish 8659 [will come] first 7223, To bring 935 your sons 1121 from afar 7350, Their silver 3701 and their gold 2091 with them, For the name 8034 of the LORD 3068 your God 430, And for the Holy 6918 One 6918 of Israel 3478 because 3588 He has glorified 6286 you.

 60:10 ¶ “Foreigners 1121 will build 1129 up your walls 2346, And their kings 4428 will minister 8334 to you; For in My wrath 7110a I struck 5221 you, And in My favor 7522 I have had 7355 compassion 7355 on you.

 60:11 “Your gates 8179 will be open 6605a continually 8548; They will not be closed 5462 day 3119 or night 3915, So that [men] may bring 935 to you the wealth 2428 of the nations 1471, With their kings 4428 led 5090a in procession 5090a.

 60:12 “For the nation 1471 and the kingdom 4467 which 834 will not serve 5647 you will perish 6, And the nations 1471 will be utterly 2717b ruined 2717b.

 60:13 “The glory 3519b of Lebanon 3844 will come 935 to you, The juniper 1265, the box 8410 tree 8410 and the cypress 8391 together 3164a, To beautify 6286 the place 4725 of My sanctuary 4720; And I shall make 3513 the place 4725 of My feet 7272 glorious 3513.

 60:14 “The sons 1121 of those who afflicted 6031a you will come 1980 bowing 7817 to you, And all 3605 those who despised 5006 you will bow 7812 themselves at the soles 3709 of your feet 7272; And they will call 7121 you the city 5892b of the LORD 3068, The Zion 6726 of the Holy 6918 One 6918 of Israel 3478.

 60:15 ¶ “Whereas 8478 you have been 1961 forsaken 5800a and hated 8130 With no 369 one 369 passing 5674a through 5674a, I will make 7760 you an everlasting 5769 pride 1347b, A joy 4885 from generation 1755 to generation 1755.

 60:16 “You will also suck 3243 the milk 2461 of nations 1471 And suck 3243 the breast 7699b of kings 4428; Then you will know 3045 that I, the LORD 3068, am your Savior 3467 And your Redeemer 1350, the Mighty 46 One 46 of Jacob 3290.

 60:17 “Instead 8478 of bronze 5178 I will bring 935 gold 2091, And instead 8478 of iron 1270 I will bring 935 silver 3701, And instead 8478 of wood 6086, bronze 5178, And instead 8478 of stones 68, iron 1270. And I will make 7760 peace 7965 your administrators 6486 And righteousness 6666 your overseers 5065.

 60:18 “Violence 2555 will not be heard 8085 again 5750 in your land 776, Nor 3808 devastation 7701 or destruction 7667 within your borders 1366; But you will call 7121 your walls 2346 salvation 3444, and your gates 8179 praise 8416.

 60:19 “No 3808 longer 5750 will you have 1961 the sun 8121 for light 216 by day 3119, Nor 3808 for brightness 5051 will the moon 3394 give 215 you light 215; But you will have 1961 the LORD 3068 for an everlasting 5769 light 216, And your God 430 for your glory 8597.

 60:20 “Your sun 8121 will no 3808 longer 5750 set 935, Nor 3808 will your moon 3394 wane 622; For you will have 1961 the LORD 3068 for an everlasting 5769 light 216, And the days 3117 of your mourning 60 will be over 7999a.

 60:21 “Then all 3605 your people 5971a [will be] righteous 6662; They will possess 3423 the land 776 forever 5769, The branch 5342 of My planting 4302, The work 4639 of My hands 3027, That I may be glorified 6286.

 60:22 “The smallest 6996b one 6996b will become 1961 a clan 505, And the least 6810 one 6810 a mighty 6099 nation 1471. I, the LORD 3068, will hasten 2363a it in its time 6256.”
