Isaiah 55

1 The prophet, with the promises of Christ, calleth to faith, 6 and to repentance. 8 The happy success of them that believe.

 55:1 “Ho 1945! Every 3605 one 3605 who thirsts 6771, come 1980 to the waters 4325; And you who 834 have 369 no 369 money 3701 come 1980, buy 7666 and eat 398. Come 1980, buy 7666 wine 3196 and milk 2461 Without 3808 money 3701 and without 3808 cost 4242.

 55:2 “Why 4100 do you spend 8254 money 3701 for what is not bread 3899, And your wages 3018 for what 7654 does not satisfy 7654? Listen 8085 carefully 8085 to Me, and eat 398 what 2896b is good 2896b, And delight 6026 yourself 5315 in abundance 1880.

 55:3 “Incline 5186 your ear 241 and come 1980 to Me. Listen 8085, that you may live 2421a; And I will make 3772 an everlasting 5769 covenant 1285 with you, [According to] the faithful 539 mercies 2617a shown to David 1732.

 55:4 “Behold 2005, I have made 5414 him a witness 5707 to the peoples 3816, A leader 5057 and commander 6680 for the peoples 3816.

 55:5 “Behold 2005, you will call 7121 a nation 1471 you do not know 3045, And a nation 1471 which knows 3045 you not will run 7323 to you, Because 4616 of the LORD 3068 your God 430, even the Holy 6918 One 6918 of Israel 3478; For He has glorified 6286 you.”

 55:6 ¶ Seek 1875 the LORD 3068 while He may be found 4672; Call 7121 upon Him while He is near 7138.

 55:7 Let the wicked 7563 forsake 5800a his way 1870 And the unrighteous 205 man 376 his thoughts 4284; And let him return 7725 to the LORD 3068, And He will have 7355 compassion 7355 on him, And to our God 430, For He will abundantly 7235a pardon 5545.

 55:8 “For My thoughts 4284 are not your thoughts 4284, Nor 3808 are your ways 1870 My ways 1870,” declares 5002 the LORD 3068.

 55:9 “For [as] the heavens 8064 are higher 1361b than 4480 the earth 776, So 3651 are My ways 1870 higher 1361b than 4480 your ways 1870 And My thoughts 4284 than 4480 your thoughts 4284.

 55:10 “For as the rain 1653 and the snow 7950 come 3381 down 3381 from heaven 8064, And do not return 7725 there 8033 without 3588 518 watering 7301 the earth 776 And making it bear 3205 and sprout 6779, And furnishing 5414 seed 2233 to the sower 2232 and bread 3899 to the eater 398;

 55:11 So 3651 will My word 1697 be which 834 goes 3318 forth 3318 from My mouth 6310; It will not return 7725 to Me empty 7387, Without 3588 518 accomplishing 6213a what 834 I desire 2654a, And without succeeding 6743b [in the matter] for which 834 I sent 7971 it.

 55:12 “For you will go 3318 out with joy 8057 And be led 2986 forth 2986 with peace 7965; The mountains 2022 and the hills 1389 will break 6476 forth 6476 into shouts 7440 of joy 7440 before 6440 you, And all 3605 the trees 6086 of the field 7704 will clap 4222 [their] hands 3709.

 55:13 “Instead 8478 of the thorn 5285 bush 5285 the cypress 1265 will come 5927 up, And instead 8478 of the nettle 5636 the myrtle 1918 will come 5927 up, And it will be a memorial 8034 to the LORD 3068, For an everlasting 5769 sign 226 which will not be cut 3772 off 3772.”
