 3:1 waYächel sh'lomoh liv'nôt et-Bëyt-y'hwäh Biyrûshälaim B'har haMôriYäh ásher nir'äh l'däwiyd äviyhû ásher hëkhiyn Bim'qôm Däwiyd B'goren är'nän hay'vûšiy

 3:1 ¶ Then Šælömò שְׁלֹמֹה 8010 began 2490 z8686 to build 1129 z8800 x853 the house 1004 of Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 at Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם 3389 in mount 2022 Môriyyà מוֹרִיָּה, 4179 where x834 [Yähwè יָהוֶה] appeared 7200 z8738 unto Däwiđ דָּוִד 1732 his father, 1 in the place 4725 that x834 Däwiđ דָּוִד 1732 had prepared 3559 z8689 in the threshingfloor 1637 of ´Ornän אָרנָן 771 the Yævûsî יְבוּסִי. 2983

וַיָּחֶל לִבְנוֹת בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי בַּשֵּׁנִי בִּשְׁנַת אַרְבַּע לְמַלְכוּתוֹ

 3:2 waYächel liv'nôt Bachodesh haSHëniy BaSHëniy Bish'nat ar'Ba l'mal'khûtô

 3:2 And he began 2490 z8686 to build 1129 z8800 in the second 8145 [day] of the second 8145 month, 2320 in the fourth 702 year 8141 of his reign. 4438

וְאֵלֶּה הוּסַד שְׁלֹמֹה לִבְנוֹת אֶת־בֵּית הָאֱלֹהִים הָאֹרֶךְ אַמּוֹת בַּמִּדָּה הָרִאשׁוֹנָה אַמּוֹת שִׁשִּׁים וְרֹחַב אַמּוֹת עֶשְׂרִים

 3:3 w'ëLeh hûšad sh'lomoh liv'nôt et-Bëyt häélohiym häorekh' aMôt BaMiDäh härishônäh aMôt shiSHiym w'rochav aMôt es'riym

 3:3 ¶ Now these x428 [are the things wherein] Šælömò שְׁלֹמֹה 8010 was instructed 3245 z8717 for the building 1129 z8800 x853 of the house 1004 of ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים. 430 The length 753 by cubits 520 after the first 7223 measure 4060 [was] threescore 8346 cubits, 520 and the breadth 7341 twenty 6242 cubits. 520

וְהָאוּלָם אֲשֶׁר עַל־פְּנֵי הָאֹרֶךְ עַל־פְּנֵי רֹחַב־הַבַּיִת אַמּוֹת עֶשְׂרִים וְהַגֹּבַהּ מֵאָה וְעֶשְׂרִים וַיְצַפֵּהוּ מִפְּנִימָה זָהָב טָהוֹר

 3:4 w'häûläm ásher al-P'nëy häorekh' al-P'nëy rochav-haBayit aMôt es'riym w'haGovaH mëäh w'es'riym way'tzaPëhû miP'niymäh zähäv ţähôr

 3:4 And the porch 197 that x834 [was] in x5921 the front 6440 [of the house], the length 753 [of it was] according to x5921 x6440 the breadth 7341 of the house, 1004 twenty 6242 cubits, 520 and the height 1363 [was] an hundred 3967 and twenty: 6242 and he overlaid 6823 z8762 it within 6441 x4480 with pure 2889 gold. 2091

וְאֵת הַבַּיִת הַגָּדוֹל חִפָּה עֵץ בְּרוֹשִׁים וַיְחַפֵּהוּ זָהָב טוֹב וַיַּעַל עָלָיו תִּמֹרִים וְשַׁרְשְׁרוֹת

 3:5 w'ët haBayit haGädôl chiPäh ëtz B'rôshiym way'chaPëhû zähäv ţôv waYaal äläyw Timoriym w'shar'sh'rôt

 3:5 And the greater 1419 house 1004 he cieled 2645 z8765 with fir 1265 tree, 6086 which he overlaid 2645 z8762 with fine 2896 gold, 2091 and set 5927 z8686 thereon x5921 palm trees 8561 and chains. 8333

וַיְצַף אֶת־הַבַּיִת אֶבֶן יְקָרָה לְתִפְאָרֶת וְהַזָּהָב זְהַב פַּרְוָיִם

 3:6 way'tzaf et-haBayit even y'qäräh l'tif'äret w'haZähäv z'hav Par'wäyim

 3:6 And he garnished 6823 z8762 x853 the house 1004 with precious 3368 stones 68 for beauty: 8597 and the gold 2091 [was] gold 2091 of Parwäyim פַּרוָיִם. 6516

וַיְחַף אֶת־הַבַּיִת הַקֹּרוֹת הַסִּפִּים וְקִירוֹתָיו וְדַלְתוֹתָיו זָהָב וּפִתַּח כְּרוּבִים עַל־הַקִּירוֹת ס

 3:7 way'chaf et-haBayit haQorôt haŠiPiym w'qiyrôtäyw w'dal'tôtäyw zähäv ûfiTach K'rûviym al-haQiyrôt š

 3:7 He overlaid 2645 z8762 also x853 the house, 1004 the beams, 6982 the posts, 5592 and the walls 7023 thereof, and the doors 1817 thereof, with gold; 2091 and graved 6605 z8765 cherubims 3742 on x5921 the walls. 7023

וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת־בֵּית־קֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים אָרְכּוֹ עַל־פְּנֵי רֹחַב־הַבַּיִת אַמּוֹת עֶשְׂרִים וְרָחְבּוֹ אַמּוֹת עֶשְׂרִים וַיְחַפֵּהוּ זָהָב טוֹב לְכִכָּרִים שֵׁשׁ מֵאוֹת

 3:8 waYaas et-Bëyt-qodesh haQódäshiym är'Kô al-P'nëy rochav-haBayit aMôt es'riym w'räch'Bô aMôt es'riym way'chaPëhû zähäv ţôv l'khiKäriym shësh mëôt

 3:8 And he made 6213 z8799 x853 the most y6944 holy 6944 house, 1004 the length 753 whereof [was] according to 6440 x5921 the breadth 7341 of the house, 1004 twenty 6242 cubits, 520 and the breadth 7341 thereof twenty 6242 cubits: 520 and he overlaid 2645 z8762 it with fine 2896 gold, 2091 [amounting] to six 8337 hundred 3967 talents. 3603

וּמִשְׁקָל לְמִסְמְרוֹת לִשְׁקָלִים חֲמִשִּׁים זָהָב וְהָעֲלִיּוֹת חִפָּה זָהָב

 3:9 ûmish'qäl l'miš'm'rôt lish'qäliym chámiSHiym zähäv w'häáliYôt chiPäh zähäv

 3:9 And the weight 4948 of the nails 4548 [was] fifty 2572 shekels 8255 of gold. 2091 And he overlaid 2645 z8765 the upper chambers 5944 with gold. 2091

וַיַּעַשׂ בְּבֵית־קֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים כְּרוּבִים שְׁנַיִם מַעֲשֵׂה צַעֲצֻעִים וַיְצַפּוּ אֹתָם זָהָב

 3:10 waYaas B'vëyt-qodesh haQódäshiym K'rûviym sh'nayim maásëh tzaátzuiym way'tzaPû otäm zähäv

 3:10 And in the most y6944 holy 6944 house 1004 he made 6213 z8799 two 8147 cherubims 3742 of image 6816 work, 4639 and overlaid 6823 z8762 them with gold. 2091

וְכַנְפֵי הַכְּרוּבִים אָרְכָּם אַמּוֹת עֶשְׂרִים כְּנַף הָאֶחָד לְאַמּוֹת חָמֵשׁ מַגַּעַת לְקִיר הַבַּיִת וְהַכָּנָף הָאַחֶרֶת אַמּוֹת חָמֵשׁ מַגִּיעַ לִכְנַף הַכְּרוּב הָאַחֵר

 3:11 w'khan'fëy haK'rûviym är'Käm aMôt es'riym K'naf häechäd l'aMôt chämësh maGaat l'qiyr haBayit w'haKänäf häacheret aMôt chämësh maGiyª likh'naf haK'rûv häachër

 3:11 ¶ And the wings 3671 of the cherubims 3742 [were] twenty 6242 cubits 520 long: 753 one 259 wing 3671 [of the one cherub was] five 2568 cubits, 520 reaching 5060 z8688 to the wall 7023 of the house: 1004 and the other 312 wing 3671 [was likewise] five 2568 cubits, 520 reaching 5060 z8688 to the wing 3671 of the other 312 cherub. 3742

וּכְנַף הַכְּרוּב הָאֶחָד אַמּוֹת חָמֵשׁ מַגִּיעַ לְקִיר הַבָּיִת וְהַכָּנָף הָאַחֶרֶת אַמּוֹת חָמֵשׁ דְּבֵקָה לִכְנַף הַכְּרוּב הָאַחֵר

 3:12 ûkh'naf haK'rûv häechäd aMôt chämësh maGiyª l'qiyr haBäyit w'haKänäf häacheret aMôt chämësh D'vëqäh likh'naf haK'rûv häachër

 3:12 And [one] wing 3671 of the other 259 cherub 3742 [was] five 2568 cubits, 520 reaching 5060 z8688 to the wall 7023 of the house: 1004 and the other 312 wing 3671 [was] five 2568 cubits 520 [also], joining 1695 to the wing 3671 of the other 312 cherub. 3742

כַּנְפֵי הַכְּרוּבִים הָאֵלֶּה פֹּרְשִׂים אַמּוֹת עֶשְׂרִים וְהֵם עֹמְדִים עַל־רַגְלֵיהֶם וּפְנֵיהֶם לַבָּיִת ס

 3:13 Kan'fëy haK'rûviym häëLeh Por'siym aMôt es'riym w'hëm om'diym al-rag'lëyhem ûf'nëyhem laBäyit š

 3:13 The wings 3671 of these x428 cherubims 3742 spread themselves forth 6566 z8802 twenty 6242 cubits: 520 and they x1992 stood 5975 z8802 on x5921 their feet, 7272 and their faces 6440 [were] inward. 1004

וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת־הַפָּרֹכֶת תְּכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְכַרְמִיל וּבוּץ וַיַּעַל עָלָיו כְּרוּבִים ס

 3:14 waYaas et-haPärokhet T'khëlet w'ar'Gämän w'khar'miyl ûvûtz waYaal äläyw K'rûviym š

 3:14 ¶ And he made 6213 z8799 x853 the vail 6532 [of] blue, 8504 and purple, 713 and crimson, 3758 and fine linen, 948 and wrought 5927 z8686 cherubims 3742 thereon. x5921

וַיַּעַשׂ לִפְנֵי הַבַּיִת עַמּוּדִים שְׁנַיִם אַמּוֹת שְׁלֹשִׁים וְחָמֵשׁ אֹרֶךְ וְהַצֶּפֶת אֲשֶׁר־עַל־רֹאשׁוֹ אַמּוֹת חָמֵשׁ ס

 3:15 waYaas lif'nëy haBayit aMûdiym sh'nayim aMôt sh'loshiym w'chämësh orekh' w'haTZefet ásher-al-roshô aMôt chämësh š

 3:15 Also he made 6213 z8799 before 6440 the house 1004 two 8147 pillars 5982 of thirty 7970 and five 2568 cubits 520 high, 753 and the chapiter 6858 that x834 [was] on x5921 the top 7218 of each of them [was] five 2568 cubits. 520

וַיַּעַשׂ שַׁרְשְׁרוֹת בַּדְּבִיר וַיִּתֵּן עַל־רֹאשׁ הָעַמֻּדִים וַיַּעַשׂ רִמּוֹנִים מֵאָה וַיִּתֵּן בַּשַּׁרְשְׁרוֹת

 3:16 waYaas shar'sh'rôt BaD'viyr waYiTën al-rosh häaMudiym waYaas riMôniym mëäh waYiTën BaSHar'sh'rôt

 3:16 And he made 6213 z8799 chains, 8333 [as] in the oracle, 1687 and put 5414 z8799 [them] on x5921 the heads 7218 of the pillars; 5982 and made 6213 z8799 an hundred 3967 pomegranates, 7416 and put 5414 z8799 [them] on the chains. 8333

וַיָּקֶם אֶת־הָעַמּוּדִים עַל־פְּנֵי הַהֵיכָל אֶחָד מִיָּמִין וְאֶחָד מֵהַשְּׂמֹאול וַיִּקְרָא שֵׁם־*הַיְמִינִי [הַיְמָנִי] יָכִין וְשֵׁם הַשְּׂמָאלִי בֹּעַז ס

 3:17 waYäqem et-häaMûdiym al-P'nëy hahëykhäl echäd miYämiyn w'echäd mëhaS'mowl waYiq'rä shëm-*hay'miyniy [hay'mäniy] yäkhiyn w'shëm haS'mäliy Boaz š

 3:17 And he reared up 6965 z8686 x853 the pillars 5982 before 6440 x5921 the temple, 1964 one 259 on the right hand, 3225 x4480 and the other 259 on the left; 8040 x4480 and called 7121 z8799 the name 8034 of that on the right hand 3227 y3233 z8675 Yäȼîn יָכִין, 3199 and the name 8034 of that on the left 8042 Bö`az בֹּעַז. 1162
