 19:1 waYäshäv y'hôshäfäţ melekh'-y'hûdäh el-Bëytô B'shälôm liyrûshäläim

 19:1 ¶ And Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט 3092 the king 4428 of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה 3063 returned 7725 z8799 to x413 his house 1004 in peace 7965 to Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם. 3389

וַיֵּצֵא אֶל־פָּנָיו יֵהוּא בֶן־חֲנָנִי הַחֹזֶה וַיֹּאמֶר אֶל־הַמֶּלֶךְ יְהוֹשָׁפָט הֲלָרָשָׁע לַעְזֹר וּלְשֹׂנְאֵי יְהוָה תֶּאֱהָב וּבָזֹאת עָלֶיךָ קֶּצֶף מִלִּפְנֵי יְהוָה

 19:2 waYëtzë el-Pänäyw yëhû ven-chánäniy hachozeh waYomer el-haMelekh' y'hôshäfäţ háläräshä la'zor ûl'son'ëy y'hwäh Teéhäv ûväzot äleykhä Qetzef miLif'nëy y'hwäh

 19:2 And Yëhû´ יֵהוּא 3058 the son 1121 of Çánänî חֲנָנִי 2607 the seer 2374 went out 3318 z8799 to meet 6440 x413 him, and said 559 z8799 to x413 king 4428 Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט, 3092 Shouldest thou help 5826 z8800 the ungodly, 7563 and love 157 z8799 them that hate 8130 z8802 Yähwè יָהוֶה? 3068 therefore 2063 [is] wrath 7110 upon x5921 thee from before 6440 x4480 Yähwè יָהוֶה. 3068

אֲבָל דְּבָרִים טוֹבִים נִמְצְאוּ עִמָּךְ כִּי־בִעַרְתָּ הָאֲשֵׁרוֹת מִן־הָאָרֶץ וַהֲכִינוֹתָ לְבָבְךָ לִדְרֹשׁ הָאֱלֹהִים

 19:3 áväl D'väriym ţôviym nim'tz'û iMäkh' Kiy-viar'Tä häáshërôt min-hääretz wahákhiynôtä l'väv'khä lid'rosh häélohiym

 19:3 Nevertheless 61 there are good 2896 things 1697 found 4672 z8738 in x5973 thee, in that x3588 thou hast taken away 1197 z8765 the groves 842 out of x4480 the land, 776 and hast prepared 3559 z8689 thine heart 3824 to seek 1875 z8800 ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים. 430

וַיֵּשֶׁב יְהוֹשָׁפָט בִּירוּשָׁלִָם ס וַיָּשָׁב וַיֵּצֵא בָעָם מִבְּאֵר שֶׁבַע עַד־הַר אֶפְרַיִם וַיְשִׁיבֵם אֶל־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אֲבוֹתֵיהֶם

 19:4 And Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט 3092 dwelt 3427 z8799 at Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם: 3389 and he went out 3318 z8799 again 7725 z8799 through the people 5971 from Bæ´ër Ševa` בְּאֵר־שֶׁבַע 884 x4480 to x5704 mount 2022 ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם, 669 and brought them back 7725 z8686 unto x413 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 of their fathers. 1

וַיַּעֲמֵד שֹׁפְטִים בָּאָרֶץ בְּכָל־עָרֵי יְהוּדָה הַבְּצֻרוֹת לְעִיר וָעִיר

 19:5 ¶ And he set 5975 z8686 judges 8199 z8802 in the land 776 throughout all x3605 the fenced 1219 z8803 cities 5892 of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה, 3063 city 5892 by city, 5892

וַיֹּאמֶר אֶל־הַשֹּׁפְטִים רְאוּ מָה־אַתֶּם עֹשִׂים כִּי לֹא לְאָדָם תִּשְׁפְּטוּ כִּי לַיהוָה וְעִמָּכֶם בִּדְבַר מִשְׁפָּט

וְעַתָּה יְהִי פַחַד־יְהוָה עֲלֵיכֶם שִׁמְרוּ וַעֲשׂוּ כִּי־אֵין עִם־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ עַוְלָה וּמַשֹּׂא פָנִים וּמִקַּח־שֹׁחַד

 19:7 w'aTäh y'hiy fachad-y'hwäh álëykhem shim'rû waásû Kiy-ëyn im-y'hwäh élohëynû aw'läh ûmaSo fäniym ûmiQach-shochad

 19:7 Wherefore now x6258 let the fear 6343 of Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 be x1961 upon x5921 you; take heed 8104 z8798 and do 6213 z8798 [it]: for x3588 [there is] no x369 iniquity 5766 with x5973 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 our ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים, 430 nor respect 4856 of persons, 6440 nor taking 4727 of gifts. 7810

וְגַם בִּירוּשָׁלִַם הֶעֱמִיד יְהוֹשָׁפָט מִן־הַלְוִיִּם וְהַכֹּהֲנִים וּמֵרָאשֵׁי הָאָבוֹת לְיִשְׂרָאֵל לְמִשְׁפַּט יְהוָה וְלָרִיב וַיָּשֻׁבוּ יְרוּשָׁלִָם

 19:8 w'gam Biyrûshälaim heémiyd y'hôshäfäţ min-hal'wiYim w'haKohániym ûmëräshëy häävôt l'yis'räël l'mish'Paţ y'hwäh w'läriyv waYäshuvû y'rûshäläim

 19:8 ¶ Moreover x1571 in Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם 3389 did Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט 3092 set 5975 z8689 of x4480 the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם, 3881 and [of] the priests, 3548 and of the chief 7218 x4480 of the fathers 1 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 for the judgment 4941 of Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 and for controversies, 7379 when they returned 7725 z8799 to Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם. 3389

וַיְצַו עֲלֵיהֶם לֵאמֹר כֹּה תַעֲשׂוּן בְּיִרְאַת יְהוָה בֶּאֱמוּנָה וּבְלֵבָב שָׁלֵם

וְכָל־רִיב אֲשֶׁר־יָבוֹא עֲלֵיכֶם מֵאֲחֵיכֶם הַיֹּשְׁבִים בְּעָרֵיהֶם בֵּין־דָּם לְדָם בֵּין־תּוֹרָה לְמִצְוָה לְחֻקִּים וּלְמִשְׁפָּטִים וְהִזְהַרְתֶּם אֹתָם וְלֹא יֶאְשְׁמוּ לַיהוָה וְהָיָה־קֶצֶף עֲלֵיכֶם וְעַל־אֲחֵיכֶם כֹּה תַעֲשׂוּן וְלֹא תֶאְשָׁמוּ

 19:10 w'khäl-riyv ásher-yävô álëykhem mëáchëykhem haYosh'viym B'ärëyhem Bëyn-Däm l'däm Bëyn-Tôräh l'mitz'wäh l'chuQiym ûl'mish'Päţiym w'hiz'har'Tem otäm w'lo ye'sh'mû layhwäh w'häyäh-qetzef álëykhem w'al-áchëykhem Koh taásûn w'lo te'shämû

 19:10 And what cause y7379 soever x3605 x7379 x834 shall come 935 z8799 to x5921 you of your brethren 251 x4480 that dwell 3427 z8802 in their cities, 5892 between x996 blood 1818 and blood, 1818 between x996 law 8451 and commandment, 4687 statutes 2706 and judgments, 4941 ye shall even warn 2094 z8689 them that they trespass 816 z8799 not x3808 against Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 and [so] wrath 7110 come x1961 upon x5921 you, and upon x5921 your brethren: 251 this 3541 do, 6213 z8799 and ye shall not x3808 trespass. 816 z8799

וְהִנֵּה אֲמַרְיָהוּ כֹהֵן הָרֹאשׁ עֲלֵיכֶם לְכֹל דְּבַר־יְהוָה וּזְבַדְיָהוּ בֶן־יִשְׁמָעֵאל הַנָּגִיד לְבֵית־יְהוּדָה לְכֹל דְּבַר־הַמֶּלֶךְ וְשֹׁטְרִים הַלְוִיִּם לִפְנֵיכֶם חִזְקוּ וַעֲשׂוּ וִיהִי יְהוָה עִם־הַטּוֹב פ

 19:11 w'hiNëh ámar'yähû khohën härosh álëykhem l'khol D'var-y'hwäh ûz'vad'yähû ven-yish'mäël haNägiyd l'vëyt-y'hûdäh l'khol D'var-haMelekh' w'shoţ'riym hal'wiYim lif'nëykhem chiz'qû waásû wiyhiy y'hwäh im-haŢôv f

 19:11 And, behold, x2009 ´Ámaryà אֲמַריָה 568 the chief 7218 priest 3548 [is] over x5921 you in all x3605 matters 1697 of Yähwè יָהוֶה; 3068 and Zævađyà זְבַדיָה 2069 the son 1121 of Yišmä`ë´l יִשׁמָעֵאל, 3458 the ruler 5057 of the house 1004 of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה, 3063 for all x3605 the king's 4428 matters: 1697 also the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם 3881 [shall be] officers 7860 z8802 before 6440 you. Deal 6213 z8798 courageously, 2388 z8798 and Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 shall be x1961 with x5973 the good. 2896
